I remember the first time that happened to me, I was like "holy fuck, I've gotta go tell somebody about this." But nobody seems to understand. It's now one of the reasons I listen to and play music so much, I'm literally addicted to it.

@mamonsin what makes music music is "sounding good" and apealing to people. if it doesn't apeal to someone, there's a reason for it, no matter how much theory you throw down. personally, I love working in (what some think is boring) ionian, doing chords like I, IV, V, and vi, some peopel just don't like it, even though mathmatically those chords are the most "harmonious" you can get. I enjoy Satch's work very much, for the record.
