Eventually, they've came back to us UNDEFEATED! Qualifying to play Fifa WC is already like winning a Rugby World Cup trophy and being unbeaten is a huge bonus for us. :)

Please find me a video that clearly shows Reid touched the ball with his head, because all the replays I've seen show no deviation of the ball from its original trajectory after Reid went up for it. I believe Reid missed the ball, therefore Smeltz is onside from the initial cross. Any referee will tell you this. Oh, and please lower your caps, you look like a twit.

A player is in an offside position if he is in his opponents' half of the field and is closer to his opponents' goal line than both the ball and all but zero or one of his opponents.
Smeltz was ahead of the ball and the last defender so he was offside, there's no arguing this.

It was clearly an attempt at faking a foul in order to get a penalty, and it worked. New Zealand were of-course guilty of being offside in their goal against Italy, however being slightly offside is one thing but taking a dive is unsportsmanlike.
