  • Nice truck @7:02

  • This is a great video as I was on the trip. (in SEPTA coache) What kind of camera were you using?

  • @12riccal Sony HDR-XR200. $1,079 at Best Buy.

  • Thanks-keep on shooting amazing video!!

  • $130 a person and u get to sit in a SEPTA coach, big fun!!! whoo!! i can pay $7 and take the same coach to trenton.

  • Why didn't they use the CR E8?

  • These ARE the former Conrail E8s.

  • Wow, didn't see that coming.

  • Awesome video Adam! You really braved through some rough weather to catch these beauties!

  • Of ALL the weekends for Mother Nature to dump an Nor'Easter on us!

  • Quite possibly the best Eagles song ever.

Excellent video, too- I'd like to film those E8s someday.

  • wow you spelled my last name right, congrats on that not many people can do that lol. great video to, was a wet day but as always a good day

  • Very professional looking video. Thanks for posting.

  • i was able to catch them at west yard in wilmington. ill upload the video later this week.

  • Awesome Video!! Great pair of units!!

  • At 7:20.... whose truck is that, and how much would they take for it. Lol. Awesome video as always, Adam. Rain or shine, those E's look spectacular!

  • What type of horn is on the E8?

  • sounds like a P5 or a P5 variation, i could be wrong though..

  • Nathan K3L

  • love the song in the intro!!

    great job! 5*

  • Very good. I was wondering why he was blowing the horn at GAP shortly after he passed Irishtown. Excellent series.

  • Awesome video! 5/5 and favorited.

  • Very nice video, and it was a nice trip...unless you got stuck in one of the SEPTA coaches.

  • Awesome Video!! I was stuck in the last SEPTA coach with no toilets. i like to know how they decided who got to sit in the amtrak cars which had toilets, reclining seats, leg room and food trays, because i bought my ticket in August and I payed the same price as the amtrak coach passengers.

  • That's not happening to me again.

  • Nice video. I was on the trip and it was cool to see the outside shots of our journey. The trip was great. I too was on the Septa coach but have no complaints. I give the Conrail people a lot of credit for putting on this event. Except for some minor hiccups, it want off very smoothly. It was fun to finally see all the routes in person. Also, we met up with the Strasburg RR's 4pm train at Leahman Place. Cool to see that from a different angle too! 475 looked awesome as always!

  • Scenery was great, no argument from me. I ride SEPTA trains to work every day, so the price of the trip was just a little too steep for me for a ride in septa coaches considering others paid the same price as us and had reclining seats, more leg room, food trays and better access to rest rooms. Sorry, I'm a big railfan also but it doesn't mean I like being treated like cattle.

  • With all due respect, we tried to accomodate those people who felt that the Septa coaches were inadequate for their own personal pleasure. I personally helped 15 people find seats even giving up my own so they could have a more enjoyable trip. I think that saying being treated like cattle is a little harsh considering what we were up against. We tried to make right to those who felt slighted though with the rarity of the mileage that was run, I would have just being happy being on the train!

  • That's the problem. You're the 4th person who was in an amfleet car that said they would of been happy just being on the ride. Easy to say when you had better access to lavatories, more comfortable seats and food trays. See how happy you'd be after spending 8 hrs in a Comet car. As for harsh? No, what was harsh is trying to make your way up to the amfleet cars in Harrisburg so you can get off and be back within 10 minutes.

  • Lets see.. I paid my money, had NO seat because I gave mine up to one of the disgruntled passengers from the Septa coaches, spent the whole trip on my feet trying my best to help passengers in my coach. I also passed out lunches, collected garbage, and helped those with whatever they needed. So no, it wasnt an EASY trip by all means. Matter of fact it was damn tough, but I did it because that was my job. So to me a seat in the Septa car was better than no seat at all...

  • I'll put you in for member of the year.

  • Gee thanks.. Coming from you thats a real compliment...

  • Wow! Doesn't say much about your organization does it mate?

  • Hows that?? We had 780 passengers, 20 of which were really unhappy, 20 which were appeased and all the others were happy as clams.. With any kind of trip, no matter WHO puts it on, you can never make everyone happy no matter how hard you try. Look at my examples. I and us as an organization tried and succeeded in making as many of those who were displeased satisfied. This fellow we just couldnt. Shame as it was a great trip... If I had seen this guy I would have helped him the best I could!

  • I mean I certainly hope they didn't make those who worked pay. To me that's just low.

  • Nah for us it was part of the convention we had in Philly.. We paid cost for the trip so as to help cover our parts of expenses... I didnt mind paying though. It went for a good cause and it was an honor and a pleasure to help and get to know people on the trip!

  • that was an amazing video, what editiing software tdo you use?

  • the clip where he's getting on the rockville bridge is he's getting off the buffalo line

  • Great video! I liked the multiple video feed ending.

  • Loved seeing the E8's in action.

    Great work!

  • What is the name of the song in the beginning?

  • "Get Over It" by the Eagles.

  • very nice camera work
