as far as i know, the Genius feature is powered by Gracenote technology, which was bought out by Sony a few years ago.

this feature is not unique to iTunes. in fact, iTunes has consistently lagged behind other media players in terms of innovation. playlist generators using Gracenote can also be found in Winamp, MediaMonkey, and AIMP2.

is Genius cool? heck yeah. was it Apple's idea? no no no. can you find it in other media players? absolutely.

Well it creates a PLAYLIST called GENIUS so all you have to do is make a new one and flag the videos in the GENIUS one to point to the new one... Bill

I have a question that I'm hoping anyone can help me out with. I downloaded this today and now I can't access my itunes. My computer kept asking me if I wanted to upgrade so i decided to, but now whenever I try to get to my itunes it says that it requires quicktime. I already have that, but just to be safe I downloaded the newest version of that but it still says that. Any thoughts? Has this happened to you?

I did NOT have that problem when I installed this. Your music library is still on your computer. Just go to "File" - "Add Folder to Library..." and point to where your music is and it will correctly get them back into ITUNES... Good Luck! Bill

don´t you know itunes??? hey that´s weird, well it is just the mac version of the windows media player, if you have a mac or an ipod that´s what you use, and if not, it is still great to use

i don't use i tunes. i download my music from different sites. it can bring viruses but i have 2 different virus protections software stuff. its still a cool video :D
