Obviously Sonu Nigam ispite of the super singer he is, cannot match Rafi. But I seriously feel that he is missing the "sam" by half a matra and going off beat at times. The reason might be there is no percussion.

In this song there are parts like, "teree baahon mein beetee har shaam, bewafaa yeh bhi kya yaad nahee" where the beats are very important and it does not quite sound the same.

Sonu has a very good voice and the band is great as well, but may the songs do not match with the band.
