Let's be honest though, this show doesn't just show who has talent. It also shows people who think they're really talented that sometimes they're just not. If they were truly confident in their abilities they wouldn't take the criticism to heart anyway.
Essentially it's people begging to be judged who can't handle actually being judged. Nothing wrong with the shows atall, and I don't even watch them.

The audience was just as much at fault as Simon. They didn't need to burst out laughing. Honestly, I've come to expect Simon's dickiness, but I'd probably have booed him because that just took it too far.

I don't feel bad at all for this joke of a person! Did he not have people around him telling him he was making a bad choice or that he was 'completely and utterly useless' in his talent of dancing. The people that go on these type of shows should never be surprised by the reactions the judges or the general consensus of the audience give. It seems as there's also not an ounce of good trait coming off from this guy, he deserved it. (Not saying the judges were right for the way they acted)

I gotta admit his dancing needs a lot of work but the judges didn't need to humiliate him in front of all those people. Millions would have watched his performance.and to have millions of people sneering and laughing at him would make anyone feel angry and hurt.
