Audacity and LAME for MP3

I followed the instruction and found the radio segment I recorded in iTunes under name. I sync iTunes to my iPod Touch. I cannot find it in my playlist my iPod Touch.  Please help.

why can't audacity have the lame mp3 encoder installed into the site? i know it says for legal reasons that's not possible, but it would make things a whole lot easier when exporting the track as an mp3 track.

you don't need to use lame. you can use the aiff format and put it in itunes :)

When I get to the part where I get to choose the ID3v2 (more flexible) or ID3v1 (more compatible) which one will be compatible with most computors? I am recording an ebook. Also I find that when I'm recording every now and then random static is recorded, any suggestions, I tried to remove it using noise removal and click removal, perhaps its my mirophone? @2loveandbeloved not sure on which one sorry. I'd go with more compatible.. As for static, you mic or its line might be broke - try a different one.. if static still comes through, your sound card might be broke - try another computer.

Considering you didn't alter any locations during the downloading process or anytinhg like that, by default, it should be in the C:Drive, Open the C Drive in Computer, select PROGRAM FILES, and there should be a folder called LAME FOR AUDACITY, open and presto, the dll file

I'm a dj and very often i record music in gigs. At the end of the recording i have an audio file with all the songs played in. i know how to convert it into mp3 but is it possible to set track points on it so it's easier to listen to it in car or home,without having to listen to it from the begining and fast forward till the desired song, but still without gaps between tracks? Any help please. Sorry for bad english.

I dunno stunark. Everytime I save a file by a new name, I get prompted. If I don't change the file name, I don't get prompted. Hope that solves your prob

Hey i have audacity and Lame , yet i still can't play songs in reverse... At the top of the Audacity screen i click on 'effect' and the whole list isn't highlighted so i can't click on anything...What is wrong here ???

What you need to do is select the track. Audacity won't let you make any effects without selecting something. All you need to do is hit Ctrl+A to select all of it and it will work.
