  • where can i get the lyrics?

  • Sooo good...beautiful! ty :) oms & gratitude

  • This is very empowering. If you feel weak , chant this mantra. Ganesha will guide.

  • Jai Ganesha Namaha !!! Many thanks for this wonderful upload : ) I just got rid of the ad at the beginning of the vid by googling extensions and installing adblock. I love the way payment is by an honesty system : ) Now I can add this wonderful rag/bhajan to my playlist without having the mood interrupted. Highly recommended !

  • any recommendations for a newcomer into the halls of hinduism?

  • @hippiekush420 Chanting Aum is very powerful. Begin your meditation/devotional practice with Aum, then with prayer/mantra to Ganesh, ( or vice versa, whichever works best for you ) then Guru Mantra. This way you will be open and supported in your sadhana ( spiritual practice.)

  • @hippiekush420 Love/devotion is the surest ' method '. Hindus call this Bhakti Yoga. A living example of Bhakti is Amma ( Mata Amritananda Mayi.) She ' attained enlightenment ' through her Love for Krishna and the Divine Mother. Another example is the Sufi poet Rumi : )

  • @hippiekush420 If you are looking for a Guru ( teacher ) I recommend : Amma; Sai Baba of Shirdi ( the one who lived in the 1800s - not the one with the Afro ); his spiritual heir who is called Swami Kaleshwara ( he is the best for mantras, etc - ie: Guru mantra ) and Swami Vishwananda ( from Mauritius ) who integrates all religions ( teachers, symbols, songs, etc ) into his teachings and Darshan. Amma, Kaleshwara and Vishwananda all tour - I have been to their Darshans in London. Jai Ganesha !!!

  • Can someone answer me this question...... WHY HAS GANESH GOT A FUCKING ELEPHANT HEAD????!!!!

  • @bobfari There are several versions of the birth of Ganesha. One, Parvati, Shiva's wife, conceived with the guard door. When he was born Ganesha, Shiva refused to admit and cut off his head. Parvati was deeply distressed. Then Shiva, unable to bear the sorrow of his wife, promised to replace the head of the newborn for the first living creature that eventually pass in front of the door. And he went on an elephant.

  • @bobfari Another popular version that Shiva Parvati left home when she was pregnant. Shiva returned and had a dispute with his son, leading to death unaware of the personality of the victim. Parvati as a result of that act, was deeply distressed. Then Shiva promised to replace the baby's head with the first baby that was not the lap of his mother. The only living thing that met the requirements was the elephant, as it leaves her young alone.

  • Thank you for posting this! I have had some very interesting experiences asking Ganesh for help...and I am not a Hindu. I just got these inner promptings that Ganesh would be the one to help out --and those promptings sent me to look for the Ganesh mantra...and I found this...I really needed some help tonight...a deep prayer for a friend...some mantra vids didn't quite fit, but this one did...the melody and the images are a perfect fit!

    Namaste! :-)

  • @druidkat7 I TRIED THE SAME THING. II DID ASKED A LOT OF PEOPLE ON YOUTUBE ABOUT THIS GANESH.... WELL I TRIED TO PRAY FEW TIMES TO GANESH, BUT IT DID NOT WORK..... MAYBE I'M A LITTLE SCARE TO EXPERIENCE SOMETHING NEW LIKE THIS. I SEE IF I CAN TRY IT AGAIN. AND SEE WITH MY OWN EYES. IF THIS GANESH ( ""IT IS WHAT THEY SAID IT IS""). SORRY MY SPELLING IS NOT E VERY GOOD. :d

  • @Chilenita2009 Sri Ganesh is the Hindu god of prosperity and the breaking of obstacles. He is most beloved by many who either practice Hinduism or have had deep experiences while communing with the Ganesh energy. In my experience of working closely with the Divine Source, the deeper and more emotionally you express your need to ANY aspect of the Divine Source, Ganesh or Whoever else, and KNOW deep down that your need will be met, you will see some pretty amazing results. :-)

  • @druidkat7 you really think so?? i'm kind of scare though. i feel like a evil spirit is gonna come. i tried so many times but it just won't work, cause something keeps telling me don't do it". everytime i want to try to pray to this "ganesh" i just get this scary feeling.

  • @Chilenita2009 Have you ever considered the possibility that the evil spirit that you dread may be the one thatpreventing you from reaching out to Ganesha? Ganesha is the remover of obstacles, he brings peace, prosperity and courage which are all the anti-thesis of evil.

  • @eaglebeak1973 i think you are right. everytime i want to reach to ganesh something always happens with me and i get scare.

  • This mantra inspires contemplation and it brings even more clarity to Ganesh's role in my life. Thank you for posting this piece.
