Ownining this camera I find the daylight footage looks good.But as soon as the light level drops,
the image becomes extremely grainy.The worst I have ever seen.
The CCD needs far more pixels.I think Panasonic need to drop the 1/3" chip and go with a full raster 1/2" for their HD range.Otherwise it's like owning a souped up V8 and then installing a small sinle throat carbuerator
High Def is the way you film, not the way its viewed :) Gr8 Video, makes quite a difference filming in texas where there is only dead weeds and grass vs up there where everything is bueatiful!

This was shot in standard definition.
I have had alot of people ask if it was high-def or not. The HVX is truly an amazing camera!
