f28 out of a 6 speed calibra special addition will defenately pull atleast a 155 i had a 2 ltr red top nova with the f20 / port and polish / injectors/map etc and that nailed the limmeter in 5th there only gutted because these are the sleeper cars that nail there scoobys off the lights nice car mate
this car has an f28 gearbox not an f20,so it is 6speed! i currently own a 377bhp 2.0 16v turbo nova on the 6speed box its more than capable of 157mph and more!
c20lets will do 150 no bother standard, so if ur mans sayin stage 5 hybrid turbo then surely he is gona get an extra 7 mph out of that alone, not mentioning all the other mods he clearly has. no bother to the nova..

Back in the day the book speed of the cavie turbo was 151 with 204hp, with 204hp in a nove its not going to do much more then that but would get there alot sooner, start tunning them and thats when the Mph start going up easy

LOL its not doing 157mph at all. Yeh the display is mph, but its a problem with the digi dash. It glitches and says your doing faster than u are. Had the very same problem. try turning electrics off and back on, usualy fixs it.

You're obviously 12 years old. All UK Spec Astra GTEs had thier speedos in MPH, not KPH. If you import a car to UK its speedo has to be converted to read mainly in MPH with the secondary speed in KPH. Retard.

the video was taken on a phone. the plug caps were to wide that is the cause of the misfire not overboost. if anyone was at pv this year the car came second overall in the fastest car shootout and now does a 165 as it is phase 5 hybrid turbo'ed etc the list go's on.
Do not underestimate a C20 let engine, because the car that this engine origianally came out of Calibra/cavalier/astra gsi were all capable of 150mph anyway, so as the nova is lighter it gets there really quick.
yea my mate had a c20let in his mk3 astra gsi with an f20 gearbox and it did over 140mph. not sure what the actual speed was because the speedo only went to 140.
anyway if it did over 140 in an astra it will do a lot more in a nova cos obviously they are so much lighter.
LOL I did this on my old cav turbo and it popped and banged like mad, which is caused by the ecu and solved with a remap.Its not healthy for the turbo doing that.
i got to 130 in my mk3 astra and a bit off poo came out when i went past a police car on the other side of the road ... 130 in a 60 lol

very easy in a let corsa/nova, i have one, 300bhp, goes off the clock at 140mph and get an indicated 154mph via sat nav with f20 box
as for subarus, there not in the same league, there down there with civic type r and seat cupras etc...

I had a 1.3 nova sr that had at least 76bhp
had it off the clock more times than i can remember! Well traction is not a nova strong point and the rev counter only goes to 7000rpm

Do not underestimate a C20 let engine, because the car that this engine origianally came out of Calibra/cavalier/astra gsi were all capable of 150mph anyway, so as the nova is lighter it gets there really quick.
