What accommodations are okay to ask for? I wouldn't know where to start. What kinds of accommodations would have helped you? When I fill out a job application I see : "are you disabled?" and "what accommodations do you need?" I've never filled these lines in.
I never fill out the "disability" or "accommodation" part of an application, either. The most frequently asked for "reasonable accommodaation" for people with a psyciatric disability is to have a "flexible work schedule." Thanks for writing. Mary

@theotherjesse Because the vast majority of people (in the US anyway) think that anyone with a mental illness is an axe murderer just waiting for a chance. They better wake up and get used to it. Mental illness is on the rise and it isn't going to stop any time soon.
