  • How long does the scre driver have to be and how much does a top folding stock and tactical pump cost

  • i just thought id say.... you sound like craig from southpark...

  • I am having a problem installing the ATI forend. My forend tube is 7 3/4 inches in length. I am using the #3 adapter, which is not a problem. However, the # 1 adapter for the front is too long, and I can't tighten then forend cap. The #2 is way too short, and will not hold the forearm in place. Suggestions?

  • @225pk - Just to clarify, the #1 adapter is 5/16" too long, and the short #2 is 5/8" too short.

  • will this work with a 6 round side saddle?

  • Nice job I'm getting ready to put a shotgun together

  • is the same for hatsan escort mp-a???????????????, the semiautomatic?

  • I've got a mossberg 500 20 gauge and cannot, for the life of me, cannot remove the stock bolt. I have torn the bolt to pieces trying to unscrew it (with the appropriate long, flat heat screwdriver). Even with WD-40 it won't budge.

  • Now just Use some 3 1/2" Magnum 'Fanchette' Rounds in that And you're Done! :D

  • WILL THIS SAME PROCEEDURE WORK ON A 500 PERSUADER??

  • @Azsholebynature Yeah, the wobbling is from the slide bars, the ATI forend adds to it a bit.. The most annoying part about it though, is how the forend will literally rotate with some moderate pressure from the side.. It gets more and more loose every time it happens to slide by accident. Yes I put the right adapters on it. To further my dissatisfaction, not only does it slide, but it was missing an adapter piece.. Thankfully it wasn't a mossberg adapter.

  • Don't buy an ATI pistol grip forend, they're weak and flimsy.

  • Is there a difference when installing this one a mossberg 500a?

  • i dont know what adapter to use, i have a mossberg 500

  • @SAMSIZZLE123 You are going to want to use the MR (Labeled 3 on the adapter) for the rear adapter then use either the MF1 Long (Labeled 1) or the MF2 Short (Labeled 2) for the front adapter depending on the size of your forend tube for the Mossberg 500.

  • @ATIgunstocksUSA By size do you mean length of the forend tube or length of the slide action tube?

  • I have a 500 tactical cruiser and am trying to swap the forend on it. I tried a Blackhawk one but it wouldn't fit properly. Now I have a longer one but it won't go down far enough to allow the barrel nut to thread onto the mag tube. What the hell is going on?

  • @TGives what kind of forend are you using, ATI? Blackhawk?

  • @ATIgunstocksUSA I originally tried a Blackhawk and then a UTG. Now I'm trying to decide what to do that will actually fit. I have the stock forend off the gun so I don't have the firearm where the mag tube pins are attached to the forend.

  • @TGives Any of our ATI forends will fit the Mossberg 500

  • I hate how guns have to be so complicated

  • @EvilCatsss

He completely changed the entire look of the shotgun in less than 5 minutes. How much more easier do you want it?

  • Is the buffer tube commercial or mil-spec?

  • @hahaland74 commercial

  • Midway USA sells a replacment action slide tube for like 25 bucks for all you 500A owners. Then you can install any aftermarket forend. Had to do it to my Mav 88.

  • @YUNGRAS2012 yours is a 500a by the sounds of it. is it a 12 gauge with a heat shield all black 18 and a half inch barrel with no muzzle break?

  • @YUNGRAS2012 you might have to unscrew the mag, i know on my lakfeild mossberg you have to unscrew the mag to get the rail and forpiece off, give it a try

  • @YUNGRAS2012 If you have a 500A, then the action bars from the forend tube are attached to the forend and you cannot removed, if you have a 500 then you will be able to remove the wooden forend, depends what model you have.

  • Not all of the 500A forends are permanently attached to the action bars. I bought one in late 2008, and wasn't sure if I had the detachable forend or not. Mossberg said if you have the retaining ring on the end, you're good to go. My plastic "corncob" forend didn't just slide off the tube like in your video; it was stuck on pretty good, but after slicing between the plastic and metal where they meet along the top, I then pried with a screwdriver between plastic and metal near the action bars.

  • @YUNGRAS2012 the Mossberg 500a cannot be replaced because the action bars are attached to the forend.

  • good vid was looking for this 1

  • i also have the mossberg 500a.. called mossberg bought the slide tube assembly and nut. 50 bucks.. its the 7 3/4" tube.. hope this helps.

  • what finish is that mossy?? (;example: blued, parkarized etc.)

  • maritime anit-salt water so if u live on a boat in the ocean get it

  • looks like its a stainless or parkerized.. blued would be black

  • I just changed my stock with a tactical stock last night....BOOM! ultimate Home Defense weapon *evil grin...plus I took out that rod at the end of the gun for more ammo. She's ready for WAR

  • very nice man!! buy ammo buy ammo buy ammo!!

  • I just bought a mossberg 500a and also purchased the ATI forend with the rails, but I saw on the ATI website that the 500a forend cannot be replaced! any helpful; advice?

  • some newer synthetic 500's cannot have the forend replaced with this method, as the action bars are integral to the forend. mossberg has options however. a bit expensive though.

  • Great clip, totally assisted in my stock and forend modification on my Mossberg 500.
