  • Old Disney.. I'm 13.. I will never forget the old disney classics.. Since I was 1.. Now its all 3-D! Where did the old days go? =\

  • This movie planted a seed of environmentalism in me when I was a child. Movies really do speak powerfully.

  • @eastariel now your one of those weird vegans?

    youtube.com/watch?v=q6bx83o5qRQ

  • Thumbs Up if your watching this in 2011

  • what an incredibly stupid ARSE is bambi's mother. Almost unbelievable! and nearly ONE AND A HALF MILLION PEOPLE WATCHING HER DiE ON THIS YOUTUBE CLIP!! WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT YOU??? And let's not forget that its an animation...it scarcely qualifies as FICTION.

  • damn it's hard to believe all of our movies came out sooo long ago! hard to believe when tv just came out in the 30's!

  • I remember as a kid hiding underneath the couch when the scene with Bambi's mom dying came...so sad..:( I miss the days when Disney's movies could actually touch my heart..

  • I never quite understood why people would cry to this movie. All I can think of is meh...

  • lol this trailer sucks

  • one of my favourite disney movies!!!!!! next year it will be 70 years old!

  • I never knew bambi was that old!!

  • Que meigo! O São-Paulino correndo todo gracioso pela floresta

  • I was talking to my boyfriend and he told me he never saw this movie as a child and I blew up in his face saying how this is the best movie ever... he said he'd heard it was good. He didn't even know who Thumper was!!! :-/

  • I'm 12,the only one in my class who likes old Disney. ROCK ON BAMBI!!

  • Focus on the new animation experience, on the new actors and the actresses, on the millenium on freecartoons, for free. This animation is thumbs up for me, it really steps it up. I give to this 8 out of 10 and recommend it with no doubt it will be disappointment!!!!

  • haha i don't know if this is the world's greatest love story, but okay...

  • SÃO PAULO FUTEBOL CLUBE

  • Classic trailer, but the movie is a lot more than what is being advertised. It is about life in the woods, the fear of man, dealing with death and especially the loss of innocence.

  • @pixargod True! I was surprised :/ I suppose they just wanted to sell as much as they could hahaha!

  • i saw this movie for the first time now

nice movie bet if i were a child i'd like it ten times better

  • RKO: "Sorry, if you didn't like The Magnificent Ambersons, yeah, that was true crap. But here comes BAMBI!" :DDDDD

  • IM GONNA WRITE SOMETHING IN CAPS AND IT WILL MEAN ABSOULUTLY NOTHING! THUMBS UP IF YOU READ IT!!!

  • @Manutdjake07

I am a 22 year old guy and I LOVE this movie! This is my favorite Disney movie of all time!

  • @Manutdjake07 How could anyone judge you for loving such a beautiful animated film?

  • @Manutdjake07 Only a real man would admit liking animated classics(:

  • @Manutdjake07 who would ever judge somebody watching a classic movie?

  • @JeremyC1239 only morons !

  • @Manutdjake07 Psh, I'd never judge someone for that bambi, especiallu since I love anime, which are Japanese cartoons. Bambi was a great story told through animation,.

  • @Manutdjake07 its such a cute film.

  • I wouldn't necassarily call this movie a romance ....

  • Question. How did they get that floating book effect at the beginning? For 1942,or even today, thats not bad.

  • 30 people didn't have a childhood.

  • 2:08 An RKO Radio Picture- Disney has obscured that on every Reissue and home video release execpt for the owners of Laserdisc players.

  • I'm showing this to my kids before ANY other movies :D

  • ummmm spoiler alert

  • Just watched this for the first time. Whether you think this is the best Disney-no...animated films of all time is up to you, but you can't deny it is the most beautiful.

  • This brings back SO many memories! tnx so much 4 uploading <3

  • Wow, the way they advertised Bambi when it first came out and how they advertise it now is COMPLETELY different.

  • AMAZING, Classic movie!!!

  • Thank God they're doing animation with Winnie the Pooh, BRING IT BACK!!!! :D

  • Disney sucks now!

  • One thing I can say is, Disney is trying to get back on track, going back to drawing =)

    Hannah Montana is inexcusable though!

  • Disney doesn't make good films like this anymore

  • @baltoofficial1 yup :)

  • hmm, the trailer never reveals bambi's childhood... i wonder if adults still would've watched it back then if it showed him as a fawn too.

  • 30 people work at Pixar

  • I love all of the old Disney films, but hot damn I have only been able to watch this the whole way through once and that was when I was a kid. I'm almost 20 now and I still can't watch it!

  • Wow those days Disney trailers weren't focused on kids but adults

  • Love Bambi. My favorite Disney Movie!

    What happened to Disney Movies!

  • Who Cares If This Epic Loving Peaceful sadest Movie If is Old Or New who cares we People who are older or Younger still like this movie

  • The Worlds Greatest Sadest and Peaceful loving Movie Ever I am 18 years Old and still liking this movie Ever

  • @CanadaKing450

I'll watch it with my girl mayne..

  • @CanadaKing450 That's probably because, technically speaking, it's not a kids movie. it was made just after the great depression during World war 2 to reflect on the hard, very depressing times that people were going through. Think about it. He loses his mother. He almost dies terribly several times. His home is destroyed. and also, it shows you the conflicts of more adult rivalry (ronno trying to take Faline from Bambi). This really isn't kids stuff.

  • i thought this movie came out in the 1960's. guess i am wrong

  • Bambi my love!

  • Wtf is it so fucking old ????!!

  • Think about this came in the middle of the secong world war... It's amazing

  • 1:56 what he says here is still true after almost 70 years!

  • Thums up if you cried while watching this movie

  • ~Miss this kind of animation sooo much!!! You can feel how much heart goes into movies like Bambi!!!

  • They tell the whole story in the trailer. But I loved 'Bambi' as a child. Wouldn't believe how many times I saw it; then I forgot...the charming story, funny characters and BEAUTIFUL animation.

  • Guess what sucks. I HAVE NEVER SEEN BAMBI, and i really want to see it, i'm so sad :(

  • Thumbs up if MAD on CN brought you here.

  • I LOVE THIS CLASSIC!!!

  • Bambi comes out on blu ray tomorrow on March 1st which I will most definetly get when it's my birthday.

  • Bambi is one of my favourites

  • Still the animation films are good, but I agree about those Disney channel stuff .

  • Oh god...please, tell me...

    what happened to Disney?

  • @Houzicho i know! what happened! now it got ruined by stupid slutty girls.

  • I cried when I first saw the movie:)

  • Okay personally as a kid, I only remember those scenes being like 15 mins long because I was still mortified that him mum was shot!! Bambi wasnt about love it was about growing up and being scared of rain and slipping on ice and making friends with a rabbit and saying BIRD-UH like a retard :')

  • @everlastingEve OR maybe it's a beautifully told, beautifully animated, beautiful story. Or you know, whatever.

  • @everlastingEve go f*ck off if all you're going to do is trash a beautiful creation by Walt Disney.

  • really amazing animations...

  • Nearly everybody gets twitterpated in the springtime...

  • Nearly everybody gets twitterpated in the springtime...

  • I find it funny how this trailer doesn't show Bambi as a fawn and none of the merchendise for this movie shows Bambi as an adult. I still love this movie, though.

  • I wish that people still had creative ideas for movies, instead of yet ANOTHER movie about high schoolers in love...

  • i shot bambi

  • @british123able Me too. He had 8 points and was delicious. mmm mmm good.

  • i wish could remake or sequel the classics instead of making new stupid stories. toy story was the last great and original movie i saw. how about a movie of bambi`s children for once

  • You saw the weird Bambi remake on ebaumsworld?

  • I miss movies made by people who actually liked to tell a story for the sake of telling a story. No one will miss people who make fake, cheesy, computer animated comedies that tell a bad story for the sake of making money.... but there definitely aren't enough people who care about the story anymore. R.I.P, classic Disney storytelling

  • @sofasoi RIP Classic Disney Storytelling :(

  • @sofasoi

Not in the u.s. but in Japan it still exists. Mainly Studio Ghibli. Also, I think Pixar has some pretty good movies as well. Dreamworks however is pure capitalistic crap (except how to train a dragon).

  • @sofasoi It's not as far away as you think, I'm a student of classical animation student and there is a resurgence in the will to make classic animated movies. By those of us who grew up with these movies too, so there are animators who share your sentiments.

  • @weazz good to know. I hope that will to make classic animated films keeps growing :)

  • @sofasoi i too, that's why i'm getting into it :P

  • @weazz

too bad nobody knows how to tell a good story anymore and executives have no faith in 2D animation either. I see this all the time, a bright hopeful kid wants to be a classic animator for Disney but times have changed man, the studio that Walt built is long gone and is corrupted by greed, Pixar's golden age is ending too with all the sequels they keep producing. At least Walt didn't believe in doing sequels.

  • @slimshaby408 First off I'm no kid. I'm 28 years old. Second, who in their right mind would work for Disney anymore? You make a lot of assumptions and all have proven to be wrong. Stop assuming you know anything. As for Disney, well it's a studio, but I'd certainly never work there.

  • @weazz

my bad sir, Thanks for explaining yourself

  • @sofasoi

Pixar does a terrific job of telling a story…always filled with emotion.

  • @sofasoi I guess you haven't seen any Pixar movies...

  • @michael918273645 I have, its just a stereotype. I know that Pixar doesn't just make films for money, but studios that do are making 3D films. Thats the only reason I said 3D.

  • @sofasoi i hope your not talking about toy story..because that movie has a deep and powerfull meaning.

  • @sofasoi

    well said.

  • @sofasoi well, pixar movies are as good as old disney movies

  • @2505994 I know, I wasn't really referring to Pixar

  • @2505994 i know, Pixar doesn't make fake and cheesy comedies. Pixar makes good films.

  • the 25 people who dislike this didn't have a childhood

  • @edanielleh

Nah, they just don't know what a childhood is!

  • hahahahahah bambi sucks

  • it was the best grossing movie till 1971

  • @watarball this is not true. Bambi wasn't even a success when originally released.

  • @GarudaStudio idk i saw in the wiki

may be cuz there was no cartoon so as a first cartoon it sold much , may b not

  • @watarball Bambi wasn't Walt Disney's first feature film. That would be "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937), which itself was very briefly the highest grossing film of all time, from 1939 to 1941, when it was supplanted by "Gone with the Wind".

Bambi was released in 1942, by which time America had entered World War II and a human-less film about deer became a tough sell.

  • I was walking along the street late last night and I saw a girl fall on some ice. As she got up she said to me, "I bet I remind you of Bambi!".

"Not really", I replied. "I didn't want to rape Bambi".

  • Oh the love is beautiful, if one found its true love. Unfortunately the love fits purely, not in my world! That is called however not which I heart lot is, I is always for my friends and family there!! And Bambi is simply a mad film, if that does not see to one in such a way. That is simply its eats holds!! -. -

  • I LOVE <3 BAMBI!!!

  • Back then Disney was magical and enchanting. Now I don't know what it is . Walt must be turning in his grave.

  • Timeless!

  • They just don't make em like this anymore!

  • I like how the analyze the movie and book in the trailer! Haha

  • Check out my rendition of Love is a Song on Strings!

  • "world's greatest love story?" Isn't that a little much?

  • @compdude47 not in 1942!
