Hey! It's Herb Alpert and the TJB on the left channel (sorta). This reminds me of just how great the '60s really were! Those were the days when they actually used musicians in the recording studios. This is a terrific arrangement and that ending is just killer!
Right. This is in stereo not mono, but it is not the mix that was on the vinyl disc I grew up with. This is a much better mix! We loved this album and wore it out from playing it so much. Thank you for the post.
@CadillacL - 3 yrs before ytube, we spent $220 on a nice Bose sound system, 3 speakers w/subwoofer. One of my best decisions EVER ! ! We get tons of bass sound & the one speaker set FILLS our whole home.
I've known his music for 45 years, thank God, but had trouble finding EL's best albums like this until this channel posted 29 whole albums! Was wondering if I'd remembered his 'sound' wrong. No, this is IT ! ! !
My 500 playlists are a tribute to this & a century of music from around the world.
@CadillacL - Lane, I'm not necessarily an audiophile, but I am a music lover AND a tightwad.
There may be better systems, but I consider our Bose investment some of the best money ever spent. It's sound fills every room in a 1900 sq' home. With 12' of extensions, it filled our front yard with sound for a block party last year! Our computer became our stereo the day I opened my account here. Chuck
When you get the chance, come check out "SoundLantern", you can upload all your music and audios! See my channel for more info on SoundLantern, thanks!

A fantastic bit of arranging, great playing, and brilliant musical direction that all adds up to a piece of music that is something to snigger about.

sounds like a quick version of the song that begins "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"

I've read of Enouch Light in magazines/books & in the
past year discovered his
music. I'd LOVE to hear this
on stereo/headphones. I can'
just hear it POP out.

@chkjns I've thought about purchasing a Bose but, I've always wondered "is it worth it?" "Does it do what it claims?" Sounds like Bos IS worth it.
