  • man i don like tony martin's on sabbath

way too much keyboard for my taste...Ian gillian(dont know if i typed correctly) was the last "real" black sabbath era to me

  • Is that Eric Singer on the drums?

  • @Jacky95tp Not seem to be him, but he recorded this studio song

  • @unholyoverload maybe he's the drummer for the tour

  • bella bella!!!

  • idk if is just me or dio and tony msound almost the same

  • excelente!!! que banda x favor!!!

  • tony martin is good for this cd

  • i think your right tony is the chuck on guitar

  • tony iommi is the chuck norris of guitar riffs :D

  • classico, fodastico demais

  • not a bad singer, but no fkn DIO

  • good song

  • Its to bad that there will never be a Sabbath tour with all of the best songs from ALL of the albums. They should get a singer that loves Sabbath and doesnt care about who the singer is and just rocks all of the great songs.

  • jorn lande should be in black sabbath.

  • terrible video, GREAT song. The Tony Martin Sabbath years are criminally underrated!

  • @tony93666 I couldn't disagree more lol!

  • και γαμω τα κομματια black sabbath με ronnie james dio and tony martin φωναρες

  • Sabbath changed a lot of singers...but Tony Iommi was always there...so...Iommi is Sabbath...

  • don't look at Tony's ass, listen the song

  • Yeah look, I can understand people liking Tony's voice, but this is not really black sabbath is it?

it's just 80's product, an income stream for iommi IMO there were 2 black sabbath's Ronnie and Ozzy......tony martin, glenn, ian, nah thanks.

  • oh my god!! this is huge!!!I've been listening to this song for 10 years and I never noticed that it had a clip!! So huge.

  • I want a freaky girl with a crow.

  • Nice girls and Iommi always making good riffs and solos but the voice emmm not so good, but out of 10 is an 7 or 8. just my opinion

  • Bloody hell. Brilliant! Black Sabbath.

  • Mi banda favorita. buen track y gran voz la de Martin; ni hablar de Iommi, todo un maestro

  • sounds like "down in a hole" by alice in chains

  • WE WANT TONY BACK IN THE BAND!!! f*****g thumbs up, please!!!!!

  • @HairHawk72 which one

  • @skatingistheancre the one who left the band! :D

  • tonys is the riff master

  • tony martin kicks ass great voice

  • Best generational band eva

  • If you cant have the original line up, then the Tony Martin era was the only line up that was worth the group name. Yes it was different but sort of gave Sabbath back their original direction in music. He is the longest surviving singer after Ozzy and very underestimated as a singer/songwriter Tony is also a multi talented musician. I would love to see this line up perform again as they never got the recognition they deserved. Long live Tony Martin and god bless Tony Iommi for finding him.

  • Tony Martin deserves more attenion !!!! he`s just as good as dio and ozzy

  • 0:05 Call of Kthulu by Metallica. lulz. Copycat Jaymz!

  • Is this Bob Daisley on bass?

  • @PauloSimmonsStanley

Bob played the Bass on the album, but for the video they picked a random guy off the streets.

  • @ZoahLord uh, I see... like Malmsteen did in the "I'll see the light tonight" video with the singer?

  • Never saw this before!!!! Great!!!!

  • he is a good singer where him now?

  • @GlamSpunK77 he is in a solo career

making tours and releasins some CD's

  • ozzy been fired was a really gd thing ozzy's solo stuff n post ozzy sabbath are both awesome n sabbath gt stale in late 70s

  • @xierotron I think that Ozzy's solo career and Black Sabbath after Ozzy are better than the Ozzy era in Sabbath.

  • Tony Martin has a really wonderfull voice i prefer his version of the shining (:

  • Tony Iommi's ass in tight leather pants is quite possibly the least sexy thing ever.

  • @phanboyiv Matched only by Eric Singer's brutal mullet.

  • Amazing album..the first two songs I heard from this lineup were "Shining" and "Ancient Warrior", and I used to loop both over and over and over 10, 20 times in a row!

  • Not only one of the best post Ozzy or Dio Sabbath songs, but one of THE best Sabbath songs period. This is a seriously underrated era for Sabbath.

  • Sadly, Tony Martin can't reach those high notes anymore, at least not live. Perhaps he can manage in the studio...

  • @Traductus5972 Yes, I just meant the Dio's vocals style, grit, etc.. they're all amazing singers of course, but imho Tony was perfect to sing Ronnie's material, just that :)

  • I would want tony back in sabbath after dio he was the best singer i never rated ozzys vocals.

  • Only Tony could join the Sabbath and replace Dio without being ridiculous, great singer!!! \m/

  • @cabroncito777 I wouldn't say that. Ray Gillen wasn't ridiculous, but either way I say Ian Gillan was a really good replacement also, even though he has highly ridiculous his over the top singing was very fitting for the Black Sabbath sound

  • Well one of the most cliche music video ever made ha, but one of the best albums recorded =))

  • great fuckn voice of tonny martin, the second great singer after ozzy of course. Dio is a great singer too but I think Dio "shouts" and Tonny "sings" that's why I prefer tonny in black sabbath instead Dio.

  • tony martin ist a reall alltime great frontman, for me the best.

  • i love the woman in tis video, the one is my wife.

  • I think SEVENTH STAR and THE ETERNAL IDOL were very good.

  • i like the woman in this video

  • The best sound Black Sabbath ever had. epic.

  • I agree Tony is a great singer, my favorite era of Sabbath well Ozzy era too.

  • That was true metal , back then :(((((

  • this is my era of black sabbath and it pisses me off that its over looked!!!!

  • I grew up listening to Martins Black Sabbath not Ozzy or Dio!brings so much memories back huh :(

  • Um outro Black Sabbath que a maioria renega.

  • Tony Martin était un excellent chanteur dans Black Sabbath, sa voix évoque celle de R J Dio en plus chaleureuse.

  • WTF! Bono at the 80's with Black Sabbath??? XD

  • frozen ghost singer?????

  • Decent voice but he sounds like a Dio clone, ok song tho'

  • This is a kick ass song, regardless of singer.

  • Cool song!!

I wish Black Sabbath or Heaven and Hell could take in Tony Martin again and keep touring!!!

  • @0zzyfan44

I agree, I think it would be awesome to hear Tony Martin in Heaven & Hell...

  • @0zzyfan44 Sadly Tony Martin doesn't want to come back since he feels his songs are pushed aside in favor of Ozzy's and Dio's.

  • @TheRokunana Indeed, to bad tho he is still a great singer!!!

  • @0zzyfan44 Yes! I want this reunion instead of Ozzy.

They could take Bobby Rondinelli instead of Bill Oldman Ward too!

  • HARD CORE ORIGINAL FROM SABBATH ! THIS IS THE SHIT, ONE OF THEIR BEST WITHOUT DIO

  • This "sound" is all we Sabbath fans had in the 80's and we grew to either like it , hate it or ignore it. I loved Sabbath and loved this. I thought the albums with Tony Martin got better as they went. Until they got to Forbidden, which was not as good as Cross Purposes. And none of them compared to Ronnie James Dio's return on Dehumanizer. That is just my opinion.

  • @kristian3k

oh fuck, i mean that i cant understand, why this great voice is so underrated :P

  • @loouuni because this is not the essence of Black Sabbath I mean just hear it... and it wasn't suppossed to be Black Sabbath indeed all the records after of Dio era it wasnt planned to be Black Sabbath albums, but the fuckin people of the record label forced to Iommi to use the name of sabbath in these projects...

  • @mo6xx you are in part, right. But, i remember that Black Sabbath passed by several changes in classic formation: Hear the first one: Black Sabbath and hear Techinical Ecstasy is so strange, you see the two extremes of the same band formation with ozzy, therefore the Band passed by different phases in your life, and it is good because it is the Dynamic of the thing, like us, like economics, like the universe and so on. the Martin Phase is a chapter of Sabbath history, and should be remembered.

  • @mo6xx actually, it was only Born Again and Seventh Star that weren't meant to be Sabbath albums. The Tony Martin albums were always meant to be Sabbath albums. And if you want the essence of Black Sabbath, it's in this song, at 3:18 - a classic Iommi riff!

  • @loouuni Black Sabbath always had Great Voices, So when a band earn a heavy structure by Fans part, the old prevails under the new. The Ghosts of the Past (Ozzy Dio) disturbs the New in many ways, But Iommi, the real front man deserves respect by keep the band, for many years, alive.

  • @loouuni because people are idiots and suck Ozzy's balls

  • @kristian3k

oh no man, for sure there were a lot of people liked him. and i'm one of these ones. ;)

tony martin has just a great voice, i love it. understandable why he's so underrated.

  • @loouuni

you liked him?...i liked him and I liked him right now...hear Scream! I'm waiting for some new albums about he's working this year!

  • @cisteina1

hm yeah, i liked him..because in my opinion his vocals arent so great as 20 years ago, i heard he lost it because of smoking and other stuff dunno..he cant hit high notes anymore,i think his best times are over..but in the 80s and 90s he was an amazing but sadly underrated vocalist! for sure!

  • @loouuni

i'm partially agree with you, his voice was better 20 yeras ago, but in my opinion he's done good albums even in the last years (even if the performans live are not at the same level of show of 80' and 90')...so i can say that i like him even now..i tell you that until few time ago I don't knew so much about his solo career and about his collaborations...but in the last times i listened some albums and I'm happy to have done this..ind I'm waiting for new stuffs

  • @cisteina1

sounds good, im interested in his solo career. how many albums did he record?

  • @loouuni i don't still listening all the albums...i recently discovered that he recorded a lot of the albums [modifica] Solo 1992 - Back Where I Belong 2005 - Scream with Aldo Giuntini: 1998 - The Giuntini Project II 2006 - The Giuntini Project III with Dario Mollo: 1999 - The Cage 2002 - The Cage II and other I listened Scream and the cage 2, i like them...the problem is that this albums are difficult to find... but you can listen something even on youtube..
  • @cisteina1

all right thanks a lot dude, i think i will look for them!

  • @loouuni

and..i forgotten to say that he's working on new albums, you can find the news on his facebook page, if you as a facebook acount you could add it

  • @cisteina1

really good news! cant wait wait to get new stuff from him^^

  • Great song !!!!

  • No lo tienes para descargar en buena calidad? Esta rola es chingona. Saludos desde México.

  • love it

  • I like this one...The whole album, actually...COULD of course have something to do with the fact that it was the first Black Sabbath album i ever heard? Anyways, i dig the mood on this entire album!
