@duendemental Can't you read the description? It's Sabine Meyer/Staatskapelle Dresden/Hans Vonk. Also, the juxtaposition of the two different time frames in itself is art. I think this Monet is very fitting with the mood of the music. Learn to appreciate the aesthetic value of things as a whole rather than nit picking all the small details because you are overlooking its beauty! Can't you hear that chromatic scale and think "wow, this sounds amazing"?! Honestly, this song blows my mind.
@Webking271 first of all: yes, I can read! The description says
Adagio
--------------
Painting: The Parc Monceau
Artist: Claude Monet
So I have no idea where you took those informations from. I also learned to appreciate music enough to realize that there's nothing but classism in mozart's music. May I also add that I'm not usually aroused by chromatic scales in music...
PS: It's the second movement from a clarinet concerto, not a song...
@duendemental Hint: it's next to the description, and I know that you already saw it but are pretending not to for argument's sake... Also I read your original "deleted" comment since I subscribe to comments via e-mail lol... you must have been pretty upset by me to edit it like that but still basically say the same thing there brah. Sorry to ruin your day. Nice that you at least changed your argument from impressionism to classism. :D Advice: bro, get a life, and stop being elitist about music
@duendemental It's also worth mentioning that I'm sorry you don't get "aroused" by music (maybe that's why you are such a bitter person)... luckily, it turns out most people do though actually: read Salimpoor, et al. "Anatomically distinct dopamine release during anticipation and experience of peak emotion to music" and maybe you'll have a better argument for me than abjectly resorting to semantics about my use of the word "song."
Why can't people nowadays just sit back and actually listen to real music!? Instead of artists like Justin Bieber or Katy Perry... .( No offense to any one who likes them, I like 'em, but some of there songs make no sense to me.) Credits to all who enjoy listening to artists like Mozart or Beethoven..It's a real bummer that no one appreciates the wonderful pieces of art he gave to us all... Like if you agree!
You have yet to live, if you have yet to hear, the magnificence, that is the sound of life. The quill pen of Mozart. God has spoken, but not through words.
This is a very good recording. Thanks for posting. It is such a shame so many people don't appreciate, or don't know, about this music. It gives me no pleasure being very critical of others unless I have a personal vendetta against them, so I won't lash out at people who dislike Mozart. I hate two things universally only: onions (a vile, nauseating and repugnant food fit only for rats) and religion (the bringer of division, war, irrationality and misery).
@classicalmusful I'm also 13 and only know about 2 people who likes Mozart's music, or indeed any classical music, and my parents only listen to the odd piece; admittedly, I haven't asked everyone though and am sure there are a probably others.
It upsets me that I'm 13 and yet I still haven't met anyone my age that feels the same way that I do when I listen to this song. It is just such a warm save feeling that touches the inside of me. My parents didn't introduce me to Mozart, I did it my self I wonderd why his name had being remmember for so long until I heard this song. Now I understand what beautiful music is really about, it is about touching and communicating with people all over the world, in a way that words just simply cannot
@classicalmusful I understand how you feel. I am older than you (19) but I have met surprisingly few people who like me are interested in Mozart's music, or for that matter any before 1960 (Classical music only applies to music written between 1750 and 1810. Orchestral music is a broader term). I think most people just want a quick fix nowdays and aren't interested in how skilled the composition actually is.
@PhysicalsimForever About what you said about people wanting a "quick fix". The way I see it, music is almost like drinks. Most music is like water, just enough to get you through the day, but good to listen to. Some is like soda, you really shouldn't listen to it every day. To me classical music is like a nice glass of wine, something to sit back, relax and enjoy. Not sure if this made any sense to anyone else, it's just the way I think.
My 12-yr-old son Brandon is taking clarinet lessons this year. You should have seen the look on his face when he heard this piece for the first time...Absolutely priceless. And this is a kid who listens to rap and heavy metal! I highly recommend classical fans to hear young Korean Han Kim do this!
For the ability for a mere mortal human to compose such sound is not only breathtaking but makes me think twice about my atheist perspective.. haha syke never.
Mozart is the greatest composer of all. Beethoven created his music, but the music of Mozart is of such purity and beauty that one feels he merely found it — that it has always existed as part of the inner beauty of the universe waiting to be revealed. ~ Albert Einstein.
The piece of music 'Major Charles Emerson Winchester III' (David Ogden Stiers) tried to teach the Chinese musicians to play in the final episode of M*A*S*H (Goodbye, Farewell, Amen) albeit his being a primitive version with makeshift instruments.
i use his melodies when i study, they calm me down so much and the work produced is amazing...several hours may have passed but they feel like minutes...
i sometimes use this to help me sleep. it is just so beautiful. i love it and it is one of the pieces i can listen to and then go back and listen to it again a second later.
I listen to all types of music but it took awhile for me to fully appreciate classical music now i find myself listening to it alot especially when im stressed out so dont fell bad mick.
To think I used to say that classical music was rubbish. I hope that when today's kids get a little older they'll learn to appreciate fantastic music such as this. I can't understand why this has so few views either it's quite simply brilliant...even better than his 25th and 40th symphonies, and better than the 21st piano concerto. Can anyone reccommend any other pieces by Mozart.
This has been my absolute favorite since the first time I heard it about ten years ago. I long to hear this one amongst all. It reminds me of overcoming the personal struggles of life.
I dont understand people who say that they dont like classical music. Thats just rubbish. Classical music has been and still is the most beautiful music in the world.
I understand that you think like that because I think classical music is very very beautiful, but you must realise that people have different opinions and no opinion is better than another. So if people don't like classical music they very much have the right to, even though lots of people THINK it's the most beautiful music in the world.
Just listened to this in b flat; sounds like an entirely different song.

Who the hell is conducting? And which orchestra plays along? Who is the soloist???
Dear user, next time you post a video about music please tell us who is in it.
By the way, you should have used a neo classical painting and not an impressionist, considering that this is a classical piece of music...
