Im 6'0 and i walk around with 280, my work out weight (wrestling) is 290, I'm all about getting bulky so I work on my shoulders and arms, most people can't believe I weight that much, and I can still fit in a plane with zero problems.
I so agree with his comments about not wanting to draw attention to ourselves (us fatties). You always the hippo hiding behind the tree...even if you are jiggling, you don't want it to be noticed.
People with long hair should be forced to wear it up with a hair net or buy another seat, because I don't want that gross shit hanging on my seat. In fact people that don't smell like my soap brand should be forced to bring their own plastic seat covers so they don't leave a residual ass smell that may offend me or make me uncomfortable.
Screw SWA. I'm 6'0 185 with broad shoulders. What next....I have to buy 2 seats cause I have broad shoulders. With the PR nightmare this caused the baggge handlers won't just be crying over bags...they'll be crying over lost customers. Sorry Kevin they used two of the oldest excuse in the airlines on you....its about safety. Second oldest excuse is the captain said so. How do I know this...I work for a major airline.
You hit the nail on the proverbial head Mr Smith. I wished you would go on commercial airwaves with your story but hopefully youtube will be enough to help change our societies treatment of us fat people. Sadly it is doubtful with out using the full power of the media.

All i can hope is that you are working on a movie about this, for all of us who have ever struggled with body image and self esteem issues, eating disorders, or have ever been called fat or have FELT fat. I can't see why a "fat person" would actually need two seats. I can only see it if your 800lbs and ACTUALLY need two seats.
