  • I need to watch this documentary, where can I download it ? Someone PM me a link please, barov mnak.

  • Can someone please tell me where I can download or watch the full movie???

  • @TheArmo1 Georgians are not muslims:)

  • Nagormo Karabakh, thanks for refreshing my mind.

'In war, there is only brotherhood, names are not important. But in peace, we all become individuals again.' Great documentary!!

  • keep your rethorical questions to yourself

  • Did you know your "Azerbaijan" government wrote a protest letter to the Vatican in Rome, to take down a 2,000 yr old map from a museum, only because it included Armenia in the map. They claimed since Armenia never existed and instead it was "Azerbaijan", that priceless artifact (and thousands like) was a fake. Tell you what, you show me an artificial map prior to 1918 that have "Azerbaijan" in it , and I;ll give you $20. n you give me $1 for every historical map of Armenia I bring till 600 B,C.

  • @Breakdown916 It is pity that you can not read russian. Concerning Map in the Rome. Chek and Recheck every single worrd that your government says to you. Who said that the Azerbaijan had the same name in the past? According to you logic Russia and Germany were also non-existent then? Not sure. Prior 1918 Azerbaijan was devided to Khanats. And one of those was Karabakh Khanat which was 89% populated by Azeris. THe other was Erivan Khanat, which was 70% populated with Azeris. (Continued)

  • @MrElvinaliyev (Part ONE) I read the map story from an Azeri news source (yes I read ur news). Were going around in circles. But here is the point, an independent "Azerbaijan" never existed prior to 1918. In the 1700's parts of northern Iran was was called Azerbaijan. In those "Azerbaijan" regions, a mountainous people lived (Tatar, Lazigs etc), who had no real Identify, language, culture or religion. (continued)

  • @Breakdown916 and what is the difference between tatars, turks and azeris? can you tell me?

  • @Breakdown916 (Continued) Erivan Khanat is now Armenia. (Concerning 2000 year old map :)) Open history of cartography! ) All of the the documents and archives of these Khanats are now partly in Russia, Partly in Azerbaijan. Moreover in the 1896 Russian diplomats translated all of the from Georgian and Azeri. Erivans Khanats and Russian negotionas are stil in the archives of Russia along with theier researches. (continued)

  • @MrElvinaliyev u seem to be missing the point. Yes, in the 19th and 20th century, Armenians were subject to massacres, deportations, ethnic cleansing and constant persecutions. They were homeless in their own home. Erivan was once Erebuni, n Erebuni was n Armenian city (part of independent Armenia - minus the occasional foreign occupations) for centuries. u have a weak argument, as u (common Azeri argumnt) constantly refer to one evnt that was so shrt in time, it almost has no place in history.

  • @Breakdown916 (Continued) AZerbaijan was not as smal as you see it in the map. Open google maps and find the north part of IRAN. 3 provinces of Azerbaijan. Names reaamined the same. West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan and Central. there are 30 millions and even more Azerbaijanis that were separated from us exactly in 1813 year. We still talk the same language. Russian Iranian wars were the reason. All Karabak Armenians were moved from iran acording to Tsar's Order. ASk someone to translate it

  • @MrElvinaliyev (part TWO) As the Ottoman Turks, so often did, gave the those tribes the option to convert and become part of a much larger and power group. So those tribes excepted the Turkish language, religion and surname. And "Azerbaijan" was their reward. Armenians were often given the same choice, but Armenians had their own identity, religion, literature, language, culture. The price was high, but we resisted and today we stand proud.

  • @Breakdown916 OK!!! this is endless, and I think if those two countries cannot decide which land is ones and which is of another, then it is meaningless to spend a time here .. . . . ..If I were you I would not stay proud after reading all what wikileaks revealed about Armenia

  • @MrElvinaliyev Unlike you my friend, my pride is not of my current government, so your wikileaks attempt is a fail. We Armenians have history and culture like no other. We are proud of our hero's throughout the centuries. Our writers, scholars, musicians, inventors and so on.

But speaking of wikileaks, you should look into what was revealed about ur government. Ya the Armenian government is corrupt, but pasha aliyev wears the ultimate corruption crown. Your people know this better then anyone.

  • @Breakdown916 You are soooo humble!!! You are talking about borrowed culture? Magdi Neyman wrote all what she thought about it :))

One of the wikileaks cables talks about how parents send their daughters to turkey, so that they could earn money selling themselves. It is not the government, this is about people

  • @MrElvinaliyev now ur hurting my feelings. Borrowed culture? really? and I thought u were a reasonable guy. My IQ just dropped a few points. Wow. Ok. So a culture 2,000 yrs in the making was borrowed from some 20th century gypsy's? So now your gonna tell me duduk is Azeri? An instrument that out dates your existence by... oh I don't know... a couple of MILLENNIUMS!

I'm not even get into wikileaks (nice bullshit btw)

n who d hell is Magdi Neyman? wrote what? who? huh?

  • @Breakdown916 (Continued) Armenians in the Republic of Armenia and Karabakh aremninan never met before. Because the first came from Anatolia the latter from Iran. OK I have to go to school now. . .. We will talk later. .. .It is interesting to talk to you, except thath rethorical questins that you are asking, everythning is ok :))

  • This is biased movie. People who are interested in truth, Please, research on issue. Since I have started researching that from unbiased sources, I encountered the truth. Open numerous Russian Books, Handwriting of Warriors and Diplomats (Griboyedeov and oethrs). Read the truth. Armenians have been transmigrated from Persia (Iran) and those Armenians who live now in Armena were transmigrated from Turkey. Imperial Tsarist Russia promised to Turkish Armenians to the independence,. . . .find that

  • @MrElvinaliyev wow, still believe in fairy tales I see.

  • @Breakdown916 I have read all of them, I did it in order to stay away from political biases. Oficial documents in the archives of Russia is fairy tail for you? Then there is no proove, for u guys, Take care!

  • @MrElvinaliyev mind siting your sources? be more specific.

  • @Breakdown916 1.

  • @MrElvinaliyev I don't read/speak Russian. But going back your original comment, I'm not sure what you mean. Are you saying Armenians never lived in the area called Armenia. Are you saying that todays eastern Anatolia, was not called Armenian Highlands for over 2,000 years? Are you saying all the Roman, Greek, Persian, Jewish... historical records of Armenia, the Armenian people and culture, the Armenian food and land, are all lies? (continued)

  • @MrElvinaliyev (continued) Or are you referring to the period when western Armenia was under Turkish rule and east Armenia under Persian rule. I think you might be referring to time when Armenias Muslim rulers deported the Armenian population and filled it with Muslims, but when Persia lost eastern Armenia to Russia, the Armenians were moved back to their land again. Be more specific on your claims. Cuz, I can show you a 1,000 independent records, for every 1 you bring.

  • @Breakdown916 My dear friend, try to find someone to translate it to you, and you will be amazed. Or at least you will be surprised. Yes they lived in Anatolia, but not in the territories of modern Armenia, and even more, not in the territories of Karabakh. In karabakh, there was one monument which was devoted to the 150 years of Armenians in Karabakh. Ask the elder generation what was the fate of that monument. Putin, in one of his speeches in Armenia, mentioned that (continued)

  • (Continue) "The great Leader of Russia, made an order to accept Armenians in our lands (Azerb then was part of the Russia) And we did this!" he said. In the above mentioned scripts, it is mentioned that Armenians In Caucasus are newcomers. All the facts they are presented are backed with historical documents. Armenia, was the name of the region, and never was a separate country. Only Tigran was able to create an independent country. Compare with Russia. How many nationalities are there?

  • @MrElvinaliyev I think Pompeii, Ceaser, Nero, Xerxes and Alexander the Great would all have to disagree with you. So how were Armenians moved to "Azerbaijan" before "Azerbaijan" existed? I'm confused. Oh yeah, sorry, the whole world used to be Azerbaijan, I forgot. Like I said, fairy tales. Taking a small portion of a very small time in history, and fabricating it to expend your fantasy, only makes you look stupid my friend.

  • WOOOOOW

  • @Azericombat

    Occupants? More liberators.

  • what i see now, ebody talks about his mind, i think azeris came to this land in 1936 in i1990, or sthg.u shdd really go study history, see when azeri existed in this land , azeri is before armen. that is hostory, about the war, su in armenian blood doesnt exist peace. they love to kill.but remmber we will stop in yerevan, that is very soon.army budget is 2.5 b.that is more than whole urcountry.azeri army is now stronger.. when u turkish f-16 will bomb u, u will understand the meaning os peace..

  • Lone wolfs in the mountains.

  • I have just seen this movie on BBC. Very touching, very real. All I've known about Armenians is the genocide by Turkey and that's why it's good to see them fight so proudly. I dont know anything about Azeris though will have to research more. May you all live in peace.

  • I've been to Turkey, Armenia AND Karabagh, and while I loved both peoples very much, what I saw is that people on all sides are usually too proud to admit any guilt, even though all sides are guilty.

  • @alexh2006 The main problem is that Turks had aim to kill all Armenians being afraid to loose Armenian land (Genocide 1915). After it during World War II they tried to convince Hitler that Armenians are semits and they should be killed as Jewish people. If you look today’s Armenia is only 1/10 part of native Armenian land.

  • @alexh2006 If we speak about Karabah it has been always Armenian land and has mainly Armenian population, but during the Soviet Union Stalin decided to give it to Azerbaijan, because of economic interests, but the main aim was to do a favour to Turkey, because they think Turkey would help to spread their ideology to East. If we speak about massacres, there were also Sumgait, Baku, many Armenians were killed.

  • @alexh2006 Turks don’t want to accept their crimes that’s why we don’t have any guarantees that it will not repeat. And today they have very strong antiarmenian political propaganda, they do everything to form bad opinion about Armenians, it brings to fanaticism among them. They do all it because we are remembrance of their crimes. They prefer world without Armenians.

  • @alexh2006 There are a lot of good people among Turks, but we speak about historical facts, That’s why there is no need to compair us, we are victims, we have always try to survive on our native land. But also we are winers in Karabah war, because it was our land and people can’t loose. If we loose it will be the end of our history.

  • There is God after all!

  • Way to set a good example of how the first Christian nation should act, loving your enemies.

  • @alexh2006 we have gone to that rule actually ,and see where did it reach us ! your turkish government finished our people and occupied our Ancient lands ! now you want us again to do the same ??? LOVING YOUR ENEMIES ??? BTW Jesus did not say DO not Protect your country ! what about ISLAM riligon ? in your religon THE SWORD is the WORD and the LORD ! thats why no 1 Beleives you PIG turks !

  • @alexh2006 Yes, we should love them and let them kill all of us:)

  • ay dick i havent ben in azerGAYjan bicos thay all stupid ass holes, but i ben in Armenia in 8-5-2008 its nice contrey

FUCK azerGAYjani ppl thay r agresor's

  • my my what an intelligent, sophisticated reply i'm so convinced now

  • I have been to my homeland of Armenia in The summer of 2004 and i enjoyed my stay, i had not heard a single sour word of azeris or turks in Armenia.

"to Defeat the enemy you must first RESPECT your enemy."

And i will say I have seen pictures of Azerbaijan and I am honestly unimpressed. instead of all that military you could try are help refugees from last war before you start a new one?

  • That's brilliant!!

    coming from a Russian Stooge?

  • we owe everything to our fedayis. My whole family is from Artsakh. My uncle and distant cousin both were killed in it.

    jan im Artsakh.

  • this is some of the most one sided crap I've ever seen on US media. I guess MGM owner MR Kirkorian is having an impact on what Americans are exposed to.this war had nothing to do with race or freedom, but more about exploiting Caspian oil. US neo-cons wanted Azeri oil, but Russia and Iran felt threatened by the Azeri/US alliance. The pipeline from Baku to ceyhan was suppose to go through Karabagh, but with the war georgia is reaping the benefits that should have gone to Armenia.

  • @urumiyehC thats not our fault that Azeri's are weak people, they invaded our land hundreds of years ago with the turks. Is it really our fault that they talked to much but when it came down to action despite having a larger and better armed military they failed, and that all their guarateed allies i.e. turkey and other muslim nations, did little to none to impact the direction of the war? Had armenia be in the condition it is now, we would have marched straight to baku and kicked them all out!!

  • Can the entire movie be uploaded onto YouTube?

  • Karabakh have shown against all odds their right to freedom and self determination, they deserve their rights to indepandance.

  • cant we just live in peace in this damn world?

  • my my, why are the pictures of burnt children, brains-out people not shown in this documentary?

  • maybe youll see them when you watch the entire documentary. Infact, you might even see the victims of the Sumgait programs.

  • hm...war and peace...did armenians have to experiment what would happen to a child if yu take his humerous out? or to see what happens if yu inject petrol into their veins? or to see what is under peple's scalp? AND IS THIS HOW THEY ACHIEVE FUCKIN PEACE?!

i do not respect armenia merely for the fact that they do not even respect themselves.

in Sumgayit, those 2 armenians were caught when killing their own ones; moreover dyu know how many aras are living in Azerbaijan, without any probs?

  • You dont respect Armenians b/c you are Azeri and the war did not favor your country. War is an ugly thing and things like that happen, thats why theres not one international org which has solely placed the blame on Armenia, why, because such actions were committed on both sides. It not hard to see that you argument is only from the Azeri point of view, sumgait was what it was, a pogrom against the Armenians, now you can say otherwise, but who cares, its what you can prove that counts.

  • no i dont why dont you tell me how many?

  • 137000- that is fully armenian.

    glad that they are alive?

  • one day all azeri lands will come bacck, and all you motherfuckers will be punished for all you have done.... you should know that 1 meter piece of this land was never yours...

  • Well you cant prove it was never ours but it doesnt matter. Turks originated in central Asia but they took over Anatolia, didn't they? Why can't Armenians do the same.

  • that is according to ara sources may i remind you of.

  • LOL yea thats a big talk coming from a group of people who descended from the mongolians. Look like it or not, Islam is a piece of shit religion, and being turkic is the lowest form of human life possible. I would rather be a disease than be a turk. In all honesty I dont care what happened at khojaly, its NOTHING compared to what u turks and kurds did during 1915-1918. Im sure MOST armenians secretly would do khojaly over again every day. The only good muslim is a dead muslim!!

  • @TheArmo1 I can understand your anger, but I can't agree with you. We are not like our enemies. Armenians are warriors when there is need to protect our land. But even in time of war we should stay noble.

  • @Avlonia1 thats absolutly right. remember khanasor expedition, our first retaliation attack when tashnag fedayis made it a message by not killing women and children, that we are not like our enemy

  • God Bless Armenia

    Armenia Forever

  • You know whats sad one of my dad's employees, his name is Suren, fought in Karabakh for some years and he feels the same exact way as this guy. But i agreee if we lost Artsakh then we would've lost Armenia, just look at Nakhichevan

  • If anyone knows exactly when and what channel this documentary will be airing on, please send me a message to let me know. Ill appreciate it greatley. Thanx.

  • This war was inevitable and it was neccessary. If Armenians lost the Karbakh region, the Azeri army would have taken over Syunik as well which would have jeopardized the existence of Armenia all together.

  • right, just as an old artsaxtci man said "if we lose artsax, we lose armenia"

  • Azeris are not back stabbers, remember.

  • @colouredwinds, yah they are just cocksuckers:))

  • Loser, if it was your land you could fight for, but You bring others to fight for you, because it was not your war, it's not your homeland, you were just guest, so takes your hands away of Karabagh

  • Very good video! Thank you for posting. War is not a pretty game but one need to do what needs to be done... Fight for what is yours even if it costs you your own life.

  • Simple guys. Simple HEROES

  • You are all missing the point. The movie is not about who is right or wrong. The movie is about the costs of war. It should make us reflect just as much on the plight of the young Azeri men who fought and the refugees from Karabagh, Kelbajar etc just as much on the Armenian soldiers and refugees from Baku and Nackichevan. War is an ugly thing. That's the point the documentary. And the people who pay the highest price are the ones who do the fighting.

  • Don't worry, Armenia will have waterfront views over the Caspian in the next few years. :D

  • is that what the war is for? just ask Russia for some coastline... im sure theyll donate

  • I'm sure they'll be all too happy as well! Of course the war is not for that, it was about liberating ancestral lands, stopping the oppression of Armenians by a foreign people.

  • when is this film coming out?

  • The full length documentary will air this Fall on the Documentary Channel, available in the USA on DISH Network, Channel 197.

  • this is great film I recommand it to everyone, it tells how war can change a man, and why it is to hard to come back after war... P.S. tehre is no doubht Artsakh is Armenian and we won a war cause the truth was on our side..

  • Embraces historical point of view

    and demonstrates Human perseverance

  • Don't worry, guys! We will get back our territories!

  • It's not yours !

  • Do you know what you Azeris were called before there was an Azerbaiajan and Azeri people (the first time in history the land was called Azerbaijan in 1920)? Caucasian Tatars, that's right, you're Tatars! Now go back to Mongolia, and take your Turkish cousins.

  • I thought the first time in history the land was called Azerbaijan in 1936... the same year they got their nationality

  • Sorry, you're right, however they became a nation in May 1918, but they as you said became Azerbaijan in 1936. So yes it wasn't until 1936 that they became Azeris. Before that they were known as Caucasian (not because of blood but because of location) Tatars.

  • @Morgan8914 Yes they were known as Caucasian TARTARS, Not the Caucasian Albanians. Many retrospective works have pointed to the fact that Caucasian Albania borrowed the fast majority of its culture not to mention DNA from the Armenian people, in all honesty being an offshoot. The Azeri people are genetically more similar to turks and northern iranians than armenians. They only came to modern day Azerbaijan ~18th century due to ottoman and qajar persian policies.

  • mongolians are VERY diffrent from tatars. the azeris migrated to the area at around 1300 AD, armenians at around 600 BC .

  • Yes they are very different, however they are in the same general umbrella of peoples, the Altaics.

  • make that 6000 bc

  • It's been over 15 years, how much longer can you wait ? There will be no war. Azerbaijan is risking a lot by messing with Armenians. No longer will we be silent. We will pick up our guns and fight.

  • There is only one reality:armenia occupied Karabag and other territories of Azerbaijan.more than 1 million Azerbaijan Turks are refugees.Where is human rights..armenian soliders killed Azerbaijan Truks in Kojaly...:((((... God sees everything...!!! God Bless Azerbaiajn...!!!

  • Where is the reality of half of million of Armenian refugees from Azerbaijan before the war started ?

Where is the reality that your government tried to get rid of Armenian population from Karabakh ?

  • @ereskaApex dude if we coudl do khojaly every day, we would do it. i dont actually about other armenians but i would. The fact you turks and muslims EXIST means you have to be eliminated. You are like a disease and Armenia is the cure. A hot injection of lead right into your face!!
