The West supported Hitler and let him strenghten German army (despity the Treaties of 1920 that said out the restriction of German army), because they hoped Nazis will attack USSR. The West was unable to defeat the glorious Red Army in the civil war (intervation from West 1917-1921Ö, they hoped Hitler will make the dusty work form them. West was responsible for WWII.

(Stares at Gorbachev) He controlled the Soviet Union with an iron fist, and as soon as that mentality changed, the Union began to dissolve. That, and Hitler was actually a figurehead for the Nazi party. The truth is he was actually a broke ranting looney before the Nazis' took him in, and was horrible in terms of military tactics. The West supported Hitler and let him strenghten German army (despity the Treaties of 1920 that said out the restriction of German army), because they hoped Nazis will attack USSR. The West was unable to defeat the glorious Red Army in the civil war (intervation from West 1917-1921Ö, they hoped Hitler will make the dusty work form them. West was responsible for WWII.

If you don't succed in finding of population of Ucraine of the years before 'famine', just find the number of 1991, minus population of Western Ucraine, it belonged to Poland then.
