Johnny Cash and June Carter-Cash, definitely. The audio is low for them on this video, and Jackson (Though their biggest hit) is just one of a few great duets they've done.
what about "if this world were mine" by Cheryl Lynn and Luther Vandross or Dionne Warick and Kashif "Reservations for two"; Kenny Rogers and Sheena Easton "We've got tonight"?
The Everly Brothers had great harmonies. For a real treat, check out their song " I Wonder If I Care As Much" as well (you can find it in my favorites). It is another example of their outstanding harmonies.
OK I know I have said it before but really this is only a tie between- Sonny and Cher - Johnny Cash and June Carter- and Tammy and Gorge. They are the kings and queens of duets - the rest are good to and I love all of them but it is just to hard to say if I had to chose these would be my picks
best all time duet EVER THE EVERLY BROTHERS. They had the chemistry of brothers and they were natural born singers. They were way ahead of their time in inovation of music, they were also a part of Rock And Roll Pioneers.
Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell had the best chemistry of any duo, and they didn't even meet each other before they started recording together. I also like Sam and Dave (who actually happened to hate each other) and the Everly Brothers.
Many of these are simply not duets in the proper sense of the term.

I think you miss a lost, "Celine Dion & Barbra Streisand - Tell Him" and "Mariah Carey & Whitney Houston - When You Belive"

I kinda hate these duets, they end up screaming.
Except of course for Tina and Mick.

What about Otis & Carla? Another great duet team who unfortunately did only 1 album together. It was a classic however, "King and
Queen".
