i was watching MSNBC the other morning andi couldnt believe what i saw the panel talking about. led by the msnbc medical expert, the panel agreed that we should stop wasting so much money trying to keep old people alive and that we should ration healthcare to the elderly because its their fault that children cant have healthcare. i swear i heard it with my own ears. mainstream TV.
it was a stunning line to see crossed sociologically. in the past no would dream of stating openly that grandma was less deserving of comprehensive healthcare
It's so sad too because I have let my own children consume so much fluoride, Mercury, Aluminum, and other poisons. God help me for I knew not what I was doing.
I have really tried. It seems like everyone is very content in the fictional world. I understand though...I used to live there. I never felt ok there though. I woke up all on my own so I don't know how to wake anyone else up. I hope you are having more luck. Even my own kids don't believe me. No one believes me. I have kind of given up.
I feel your situation - it seems taht just about everyone is in denial. We have to keep trying and hope that something will pop up in people's lives and they will suddenly understand - that's how it was for me.
