@quarterexchange I really, really think you're trying to put words into my mouth in an effort make yourself try and win this debate. Sorry, but your efforts won't work. And futile considering that repeal is inevitable. You do know that repeal will happen soon enough right?
@quarterexchangen Well your comment of Prop 8 is irrelevant. However, the reason they repealed Jim Crow laws, is the same reason why they repealed the DADT law. And that's because of hate. Kicking out critical veterans, especiall the Arab Translators, just because they happen to be gay is discriminatory. Hence, the repeal of DADT. Any more comments from you to beat around the bush despite the soon-coming repeal?
@quarterexchange Well, if you're going to bring up something different from the military, I'll say that just because the Jim Crow Laws was written does that make it right to legally segregate? Nope.
@quarterexchange Hey did you read the news today. It seems the Marines (of all military branches huh) is now the first miltiary branch to initiate the implementation of DADT. So....just saying :)
@quarterexchange Yes, the three generals (Marines, Air Force, and Army) versus the other military generals and leaders who are for repeal like Navy & Coast Guard Admirals, the Joint Chief of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, Commander of USCENTCOM & US Forces of Afghanistan Gen. David Petraeus, Commander-in-Chief Obama, most Democrats and some Republicans, about 75% of Americans who wanted repeal, the 69% of active duty members who are okay with repeal...try again
@quarterexchange said, "I acknowledge that DADT is currently repealed"
Good. And in case you didn't know, the professionals Pentagon and DOD has already made their decision through logics and reasonings as to why DADT should be repealed. Where have you been?
@quarterexchange No, it's more like you trying to drive our conversation in circles. But hey, you have the freedom to call it "cop out" and whatever rhetoric you can come up with if it makes you feel better. Futile nevertheless. But the repeal will happen...you're defeated.
@quarterexchange I knew you'd say that. I just figured I'd cut the rhetoric and get to the point, and throw that at you, and see the calculated words come out. And it worked. Interesting. So now it's more like reality bites for you about DADT soon to be repealed.
@quarterexchange And there you go again with the "if we have separate genders, we then should separate Gays from Straights"
Look you're obviously taking this conversation into a circle it's making me dizzy at times. But if you want to play that silly game, it takes two to tango at this. So again, you idea of separate areas from Homosexuals & Bisexuals from the Heterosexuals is moot, because there are already showering, and in close quarters together everywhere including the military.
@quarterexchange Well of course I can't say gay relations haven't caused issues with our allies...because there aren't any to be reported. Homosexuals within our allies served openly for quite some time and with professionalism. And so can our American Homosexual Veterans once DADT is finally repealed by March or April.
@quarterexchange said, " No they do contribute but it's best if they aren't open"
Well at least you know that there are Gays in the Military. But about 70% of active duty members from ALL branches of the military knows who exactly are the Homosexuals in their unit. That means they knowingly shower with these Homosexuals...voluntarily. Any cases of ruined unit cohesion? Nope.
@quarterexchange No I'm not agreeing with you at all. I'm saying that it comes with the territory. So here's a test for you: let's hypothetically say if it were the UK's war with Iraq & Afghanistan. The UK (with their gays serving openly btw) then sends 30,000 troops, and the US sends 5,000 troops. Which country do suppose will have the highest numbers of casualties?
Now, again, are you next going to tell me that American Homosexuals never existed in the US military nor ever contributed to the fights in Afghan & Iraq wars?
@quarterexchange Those casualty numbers are there because of the large amount of troops we've given compared to the UK. Remember this is our war, not the UK, yet they volunteered to help and they gave a small amount of their troops. So with large numbers comes large numbers of casualties and with small numbers comes small numbers of casualties. I'm sure if it were the other way around, perhaps the numbers would've been different. That doesn't make the UK any different from us keep in mind.
@quarterexchange Wow, I suppose you're going to tell me that Homosexuals never existed in the US Military nor ever contributed to the fights in the Afghan & Iraq wars, right?
@quarterexchange Do you suppose we lost 5,000 because our military kicked out the most critical personnel needed to get the mission done safely? Like the 300+ military member that were kicked out DURING the two wars, most of which are language interpretors who speak mostly Arabic? Or how about the ones kicked out from the infantry, thus lessening our infantry forces making them more susceptible to the enemy? No wonder the UK has less casualties than us.
@quarterexchange Really? Are you implying that the Israelis don't always go to war or are a weak military because they allowed Gays to serve openly? And do you think the same for the UK, who supported us in the Afghan & Iraqi campaigns? Or how about the Canadian Gays who served openly and we worked with them? Do you know of any known documented problems working with Openly Gays from our allies?
@quarterexchange Yes, try and prove it. Because our allies don't seem to have any problems. And you do know that there are Homosexual men in showers and naked with Bisexual men, and Heterosexual men in Fire Depts., Police Depts, High School showers, College/University Dorms & showers, Sports Gyms, Fitness Gyms, Public showers, Public Swimming pools, CIA Locker rooms, FAA Locker rooms, Homeland Security Locker rooms and showers, AND the Military too right?
Edited: And you know, I asked that question when DADT was passed? Laws are tested throughout time and eventually can remain in effect if it works for the whole society, and there are laws that have been passed and yet doesn't work for the entire populace, for example Jim Crow laws, laws that banned interracial mariages, laws that banned women from voting or seeking public office, laws that banned blacks from voting, etc. The repeal of DADT, has TO stand the test of time...and it will.
@quarterexchange And you know, I asked that question when DADT was passed? Laws are tested throughout time and eventually can remain in effect if it works for the whole society, and there are laws that have been passed and yet doesn't work for the entire populace, for example Jim Crow laws, laws that banned interracial mariages, laws that banned women from voting or seeking public office, laws that banned blacks from voting, etc. The repeal of DADT, has stand the test of time...and it will.
Ladies and gentleman right before our eyes we re watching the US fall into pieces
You should not say:God bless America but God help America because America has become corrupted just like Rome before its fall .I guess that history is repeating itself
@quarterexchange What are you talking about i never even mentioned iraq! Although now that you brought it up the reason america seen more casualties was becasue they had alot more soldiers in iraq. The Uk had 45000 troops there and america had 248000 troops. So you can see that the number of dead were respective to the number of over all soldiers. To say the uk did not commit to the war is a bit unfair. I'm sure 3 commando brigade, the sas/sbs and the black watch would agree with me!
@quarterexchange The don't ask, don't tell policy is illegal. You cannot fire someone because of their sexuality, nor can you discriminate based on their sexuality. Gays have every right to serve their country as everyone else. Anyone who has an education will tell you that. Their is nothing wrong with homoxexuality, it is perfectly normal and natural. You have to go so low as to name call proves just how ignorant and uneducated you are.
@quarterexchange You have the freedom to think of me whatever it is you want. The fact remains however, there are feminine gay guys and butchy maculine women in the military right now despite DADT. And there are many in the military that shower, eat, and sleep in military encampments with them. And if you don't think there are feminine guys and masculine women in the military, then I don't you're in the mlitary. But then again, that's none of my business right?
@quarterexchange Okay "bloody moron" you don't know what goes on m life, so don't make assumptions of others of whom you've never met. Whether I'm in the military or not, is none of your business. And if you look at most news reports, they all agree with each other that DADT is illogical. Get over yourself.
@quarterexchange Hey it's futile to try and revive your shower issue, because there are already nude beach resorts, there are already Homosexuals, Bisexuals, and Heterosexuals showering together already.
all good christians who read the old testament also know that god destroyed a whole city of homosexuals in the city of sodam & gamora, for he looked upon it as total blasphemy and abomination.
@quarterexchange So it's the same effect that being ostracized in the military for being born Black like it is being ostracized from the military for being born a Homosexual, or Bisexual.
@quarterexchange The fact that Harry Truman allowed Blacks to serve alongside Whites in the miltiary is credible enough for his son, because I'm sure Truman taught his son a lot about life, to denounce DADT
@quarterexchange said, "I'm beginning to doubt you are in the military, you honestly sound like a teenager. By using words like "owned" and giving vague answers like, "alot" and..."
You've got to be kidding me? Are you serious enough to think even adults don't use the words like "owned" or "a lot"...???....I'm beginning to doubt you are an adult yourself. I hope you're an adult. Is sex all you think about, when it comes to DADT, and/or gays in the miltiary?
@quarterexchange Huh, it seems we have a conflict between CNAS and Zogby Pollings...because 73 percent of military personnel are comfortable with lesbians and gays (Zogby International, 2006).
@quarterexchange said, "Yes the son of the president who wiped out 300,000 japanese citizens in the blink of an eye but made the military more welcoming to african americans..."
@jusitke07 What are you smoking. What does dropping 2 A-bombs on Japan and blacks in the military spoken in the same breath have to do with Gays. And what in hell is Gay about being a homosexual. President Truman did not make it easier for blacks to enter the military. There was a draft in place in WWll taking blacks ie; the Tuskegee fighter pilots. There was an all black battalion in the Pacific theatre, and Europe also.
(Schofield Barracks, Hawaii) Army Secretary John McHugh said Friday the military is considering a system for soldiers to anonymously express their opinions about its dont ask, dont tell policy on gay troops. The Pentagon will make a recommendation on changing the policy by the end of the year, McHugh said. Soldiers would make their comments ahead of that recommendation, he said.
Before I go to bed, check this out from USA Today dated May 7th
President Harry Truman and family.
CAPTIONThe Truman familyOpponents of the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy regarding gay soldiers are lobbying President Obama with the descendant of a Democratic Party icon. The grandson of President Harry Truman has written Obama a letter urging him to repeal the policy
1. Flamboyant Homosexuals...closeted? I don't think so. Everybody can read the Gay guys in my unit like a book. But they do a damn good job.
2. 73 percent of military personnel are comfortable with lesbians and gays (Zogby International, 2006). The younger generations, those who fight America's 21st century wars, largely don't care about whether someone is gay or not-and they do not link job performance with sexual orientation
If you really want my answer to your quesiton if men should shower with women in the miltiary, then yes, why not? If the public at large can do it in nude beach resorts around the world why not?
Now are there Homosexuals, Biseuxals, and Heterosexual already in showers together everywhere, including the miltiary?
Oh I answered it with another question. You can't seem to answer mine. Face it, you can't admit to the fact that there are already Flamboyant Homosexuals in the military.
I think I answered your question pretty much with public nude resorts in the world too, where everyone of all ages are naked. Heterosexual men conduct themselves professionally too....
@quarterexchange Hey, you can call me whatever it is you want, that's your freedom. But that's not my problem you're not happy with the answers I gave you. Do you think I'm that stupid to give answers you want to see?
Are there already Gays, Bisexuals, and Heterosexuals already showering together everywhere, including the miltiary?
@quarterexchange And that's my answer, and stickin' to it. And if you don't like that answer...then that's your problem to deal with isn't it? The fact remains however, that in my unit, we know who exactly are the Homosexuals, and we work, eat, and shower together with no problems at all. And you seem to ignore my question to you...so what's your problem?
@quarterexchange No, my point is, why should the numbers of men be part of this discussion. It's irrelevant, because in general, there are men (Homos, Bis, Heteros) showering together. Which goes to show, you're argument of shower situations...fail.
@quarterexchange See there it is again with the shower issues.....now for the 653rd time huh. Anyway, The gays in my unit is already showering with the other guys, and htere are no problems....so what's your problem?
@quarterexchange Well then don't bring up your shower issue....for the 652nd time. Plus the military members of my unit, and I'm sure most Homosexuals in the miltary right now, are flamboyantly Homosexuals. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they follow with what DADT says and all, but they're characteristics speaks louder than words. So my unit knows exactly who are the gay ones, but my unit again, still showers with him, eats together with him, and work with him.
@quarterexchange Ah ah, your shower issues failed in this argument, because there are already Homosexuals, Bisexuals, and Heterosexuals showering together everywhere...even in the military. Sorry try again. Oh, and most members of unit shower with those known to be Homosexuals, and they still don't have an issue with it. It's only an issue, if you make it to be one. Also known as an Instigator.
No you're wrong, the European countries are not weak. I guess you haven't a clue about anything about the British empire. Or even the French Territories. Weird.
@quarterexchange Beijing Pride Parades? Show me where you got your information. Because I'm using the Google search engine and I can't find it. And Russia doesn't allow Gays to serve openly. They have their own version of DADT. The Boston Weekly dated Feb. 03, 2010 says "According to military analysts and experts [from the US] who have studied the issue in Israel, the U.K. and elsewhere, the policy has had little impact on the effectiveness of the military."
@quarterexchange I'm glad you know for a fact that India decrimilized Homosexuality. So do you suppose with the decriminlization of Homosexuality, it will eventually lead to allowing Gays to serve in India's military? And do you believe that there is no such thing as Gays in India's military...or any military for that matter?
@quarterexchange said, "Yes they shower in the military, CLOSETED."
Oh yeah, check this out: One in four U.S. troops who served in Afghanistan or Iraq knows a member of their unit who is gay (Zogby, 2006).
So it is nonetheless that in general, many in the military know for a fact that Homosexuals, Bisexuals, and Heterosexuals shower together. Shot your argument down didn't I?
@ quarterexchange. And I see no response to the news article about the military allowing women to serve with men in submarines. See, I shot down your "Women & Men" serving together theory yet again.
@quarterexchange Military personnel encompasses those who serve in the military in general. That means for Officers, Warrant Officers, and the Enlisted. Not to mention the current military leaders like Adm. Mike Mullen, General Petraeus, and Sec. of Defense Robert Gates.
@quarterexchange The EU consists of the majority of US allies that allow Gays in the military. And the EU, collectively, is a military superpower. Look it up. The US served with France, UK, Dutch, Swedes, etc, in both the Iraqi & Afghan war theaters. And gay marriage is only celebrated in certain states in the US, but gay marriage is celebrated in the entire country of India. So it'd be pretty safe to assume that do have gays in teh Indian military.
@quarterexchange It doesn't matter about "disciplinary standards"...the fact that there are ALREADY Homosexuals, Bisexuals, and Heterosexual in showers together everywhere, especiall the military, shoots down your argument. You can't deny that fact.
@quarterexchange And actually with your issue with Israeli women & men in the military, I responded to you with this article, and have therefore asked your opinion to which you gave no response: From the Associated Press dated Thu Apr 29, 11:44 pm ET
KINGS BAY NAVAL SUBMARINE BASE, Ga. The first U.S. women allowed to serve aboard submarines will be reporting for duty by 2012, the Navy said Thursday as the military ordered an end to one of its few remaining gender barriers
@quarterexchange You know, the military super powers of the world are the European Union, Russia, China, India, and the US. Now, would you be surprised if I told you India decriminilized Homosexuality? And that Gay Marriage is now celebrated in India? So it begs the question are there gays in India's military?
@quarterexchange Yes I did. I basically said that there are Homosexuals, Bisexuals, and Heterosexuals in showers together everywhere from Fire Depts., Police Depts., Public Swimming Pools, the Military, College & University Gyms, SWAT Teams, etc., makes your argument of shower issues a failed one. Heck, you've even acknowledge that fact.
@quarterexchange For those American Homosexual citizens who pay taxes, are physically & mentally capable of military service, pass the ASVAB test, and who wants to serve his/her country...makes them fully qualified to join the military.
I pretty much shot down every argument you brought my way about shower issues, women serving with men in the miltiary, and now trying to compare American Homosexual ctizens as weak as the elderly and handicapped. There's your 3 point argument for ya.
@quarterexchange said, "The fact that a country is free or oppressive does not do anything for the military. The govt. and the military are almost entirely seperate entities"
Oh really? And where do you suppose the miltiary get's it's fiscal budgets? The government paid for by taxpayers, or Heterosexual citizens only?
@quarterexchange Okay, with women in the miltiary, tell what you think of this:
From the Associated Press dated Thu Apr 29, 11:44 pm ET
KINGS BAY NAVAL SUBMARINE BASE, Ga. The first U.S. women allowed to serve aboard submarines will be reporting for duty by 2012, the Navy said Thursday as the military ordered an end to one of its few remaining gender barriers.
@quarterexchange said, It proves that Heterosexuals, Bisexuals, and Homosexuals are united together in their respective country along with being united with other free countries against those countries like Russia, China, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iran, and the rest of the countries that have ONLY Heterosexuals in their miltiary. But thank you for acknowledging that Fact that the US will join with the rest of the free world who allowed their Gays and Bisexuals to serve openly.
@quarterexchange Wrong, men and women have the instinct to protect anybody regardless of gender or sexual orientation. It's not all about Men protecting women.
@quarterexchange Oh really? Direct me to the website of where you got the info that "women got shot the men who were attracted to them forgot the mission"
And I don't know why you're suddenly blaming Heterosexual issues to Homosexuals.
I thought I'd just throw this in for shits & grins:
From the Associated Press dated Thu Apr 29, 11:44 pm ET
KINGS BAY NAVAL SUBMARINE BASE, Ga. The first U.S. women allowed to serve aboard submarines will be reporting for duty by 2012, the Navy said Thursday as the military ordered an end to one of its few remaining gender barriers.
@quarterexchange Okay I see the desperate measure here as you take old, outdated news from 1948, and now try to make that legitimate to the current United States. And I see you can't answer the question as to how exactly the private lives of American Homosexual Veterans physically kill others?
@quarterexchange Like asked you before, in my war scenario, which side do you suppose our country would join? The ones with Russia, China, North Korea? Or the ones with Canada, UK, France, Germany, Sweden,....and many more to mention.????
@quarterexchange Okay, it'd be nice if you posted a date and time. So looked up your article and it basically talks about women being of the "weaker sex" so they barred them from the combat zone, which has absolutely nothing to do with DADT and/or Gays in the Military. So are you now trying to align that American Homosexual Veterans are the "weaker sex" ??
@quarterexchange said, "In Israel men and women got in relationships in the military. When they went to battle and one partner was killed or wounded, the other partner would lose morale, rush to their aid, forget..."
@quarterexchange You don't have proof of your guess in our allies versus the countries with severe human rights issues. So looking at that scenario I pulled up, which side do you suppose the US will join?
@quarterexchange Killing somebody is benign when you try and compare it to Homosexuals. Because Heterosexuals kill others as well. Killing somebody does physical harm directly to the other individual. The personal lives of two consenting adults (Gay or Straight) doesn't affect others whatsoever. I mean seriously, how can a personal life of an American Homosexual Veteran directly kill another? Ya see what I mean?
@quarterexchange Okay so leaving the US out of the picture, imagine this kind of war:
Russia, China, India, and North Korea VS France, Germany, Denmark, UK, Sweden, Norway, Luxembourg, Israel, Mexico, Canada, Australia, Philippines, Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Spain, Chile, South Africa, Italy, Belgium, Japan, New Zealand, ...
@quarterexchange "European courts outright declared it illegal"...And for good reason. Think about it. How does the personal life of an American Homosexual Veteran directly affect the personal lives of other vets? How? Will it make them Gay too?
@quarterexchange European courts saw it from a logical point of view, reasoned with Britain and they complied with. Now are there any problems of unit cohesion with the British military? Nope.
And if you think America is different to that of our allies such as the British, French, German, etc., then where do you suppose in our US military did bagpipes, berets, current helmets, tanks, and mlitary generals come from?
@quarterexchange Thank you for at least being honest about it too. Just like in other places like public swimming pools, fire departments, police departments, British Military, French Military, Mexican Military, Israeli Military, and the rest of the free world there are Gays, Bisexuals, and Straights already showering together. So your argument of potential showers issues....fails. ;-)
@quarterexchange Oh yes I have. Nonetheless, I'll say it again, your argument of shower issues in the military fails because as I said before, there are already Gays, Bisexuals, and Straights showering together everywhere, including the military. Am I correct or not?
@quarterexchange I already did answer your questions, but you keep throwing back the same thoughts of Gays in the Showers with Straights when we all know for a fact that Gays are in the showers with Straights and Bisexuals everywhere, including the miltiary. And yet you keep bringing us back in circles about the shower situation. So I pretty much shot you down with the fact that Gays are ALREADY in showers with Biseuxals, and Straights everywhere, incuding the miltiary.
@quarterexchange Wow now you're on with the name calling and cursing here and there. I must've pushed a button...gooooood. Anyway, would you like to see Admiral Mike Mullens comment about DADT? How about Secretary Robert Gates? Or wait, I really think you'd like Retired General Colin Powell's and General Petraeus thoughts on DADT. ;-)
@quarterexchange I see you can't find an article that supports DADT. It figures. Would you be surprised if I gave you a Youtube video link that even Fox News supports Gays in the Military?
And since when have you "shot down" any of my arguments? You just going in circles, so I have to just instead show you newclips of the irrationality of DADT.
@quarterexchange I'd like to see you find a news clip that logically explains any reasonable findings that favors keeping DADT. Otherwise it goes to show DADT is worthless.
@quarterexchange Oh look, I found this in the Omaha World-Herald dated April 26th, 2010
The University of Iowa political science major has started a petition seeking to push Iowa lawmakers to not enforce the federal prohibition on homosexual and bisexual soldiers from disclosing their sexual orientation
@quarterexchange So I guess you do side with communist ideals of Russia, China, and North Korea and that you like the miltiary policies of those countries in banning Homosexuals from serving....you're true colors are exposed. Thank you for telling the truth about yourself.
Hey you're the one who brought up men showering with women...not me. So the Gays in the military are able to shower with Straights in most countries, and there are Gays showering with Straights in Fire Depts across the world, and there are Gays showering together in Colleges & Universities sport gyms, and on, and on... ;-)
@quarterexchange Oh the US military has many influences from foreign militaries. Heck, the US has most influences from Europe. Plus where do you suppose most Americans claim their heritage from? Europe. If you can tell me where in the world berets, bagpipes, military battle formations (Greco/Roman influence),
@quarterexchange Again newsflash for ya, there are already Gays showering together with Straights in militaries across the free world like Israel, UK, France, South Africa, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, etc....and including the US. And would you believe me that there are Heterosexual men already showering with women? Ever heard of something called a nude resort?
@quarterexchange Good, I'm glad that you're a open-minded person to think that Homosexuals are professional enough to be in the mlitary. Now, why is it okay for Heterosexuals to talk openly about their personal lives in the military workplace and yet it's not okay for Homosexuals to talk about their personal lives in the work place?
@quarterexchange Why? What's there to be afraid of when the DADT is repealed? Do you really think ALL Gay Veterans will then rape the entire military?
@quarterexchange What? UK & Israel up to par with the US military what the hell you talking about. But again nevertheless, thank you for acknowledging the fact that Gays contributed in every of America's war.
@quarterexchange Nonetheless, I'm glad you acknowledge the fact that there are Gays in the military. And it woudln't make a difference just like how our allies did it when they allowed Gays to serve openly without any documented reports of bad unit cohesion. So do tell me your thoughts on Israel's & UK military with their Gays serving openly?
@quarterexchange Let me ask you this: Aren't there Gays, Bisexuals, and Straights together in showers, dressing in open bay areas, and sleeping in dorms together already in the US Military right now?
The U.S. Military has made it clear that homosexuals in the military would be a health hazard.
The average lifespan of a homosexual is 50 years (FRI). Their actions are distorted and sick minded. Let's keep only honorable people in the military, not deviated people.
@ItalianSEAL If you are really Italian, your home country (Italy) allows openly gay and lesbian servicemembers. The average lifespan of a homosexual is 50 years??? REALLY? What is FRI? Shouldn't it be FYI?
I believe gays should be able to serve in the military. I look at that as being a great means of GPC. (Gay Population Control) Hell ya, make it so that any and all gay people "have" to serve. So I not only agree with gays in the military I encourage it...
I don't understand why any of this has to be an issue... What does it matter if someone is gay or straight? What does your sexuality have to do with your ability to serve your country? The answer is nothing, and unless you can prove to me otherwise with real cases and scientific studies, I will continue to believe so.
Why can't people just work together for the good of everyone, instead of singling out certain groups and fussing over petty things. It's not only destructive, but distracting too.
Someone tell me why our allies such as Mexico, UK, Australia, Philippines, Israel, Spain, France, New Zealand, Japan, France, Germany, Spain, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Canada, etc. don't seem to have a problem with unit cohesion with openly Gays & Lesbians in their respective military? And why is that US standards of Gays in the mlitary fall in the same standards ironically with Saudi Arabia, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Pakistan, China, North Korea, Egypt, Cuba, and Russia?
All differences aside. I'd like to wish you and all the Youtubers around the world, Happy Resurrection Day. This is the day of days the defines the core of the Christian faith. Even at the last minute of your life, Christ will still love you at that moment as Jesus did with the criminal at the when he simply asked to be with Him in Heaven. And Jesus lovingly promised it. That's how much He loves everyone. A song dedicated to everyone in this world
I suppose the next thing you're going to tell me is that there is NO such thing as today's homosexuals, bisexuals, heterosexuals sharing open bay showers in Polic Depts, Fire Depts, Public and/or Private Gyms, Hospital employees bathrooms, etc....??
ah, avoiding the question again - well, let me put it up for you so you know that you'lll keep getting the same question until you answer it - WHY, jusi, do you suppose men and women in the military, and in police and fire departments, and in Gyms, Hospitals, etc...have SEPARATE showers, locker rooms, etc? Why do you think that is?
Okay, here is the logical question: You and I agree that there is no such thing as co-ed showers in the mlitary, police dept. fire dept, hospitals, gyms, etc...yet. But are you saying at this point in time and on, there is NO such thing as homosexuals, bisexuals, and heterosexuals sharing showers in the the military, in police and fire departments, and in Gyms, Hospitals, etc?
why, continue the avoidance behavior? - here it is again - WHY, jusi, do you suppose men and women in the military, and in police and fire departments, and in Gyms, Hospitals, etc...have SEPARATE showers, locker rooms, etc? Why do you think that is?
And besides the proven data that obese peoples are unhealthy to conduct military operations, how are physically fit and healthy homosexuals, that are able to carry out any missions, unfit or unhealthy to serve? Do you think of homosexuality as some disease?
But, you're avoiding the questions yet again: what's the difference between homosexuals & heterosexuals in showers together in the Fire Dept., Police Dept., Hospital Employee bathrooms, Gyms, Baseball Teams showers Basketball Team showers, Football Team showers, Nude beach resort areas etc.,to that of the military?
jusitke, i have a question for you - WHY do you suppose men and women in the military, and in police and fire departments, and in Gyms, Hospitals, etc...have SEPARATE showers, locker rooms, etc? Why do you think that is?
Just as I thought, avoiding the question with another invalid question. Co-ed showers is irrelevant at this point in time. Plus you denied my question about Nude beach Resorts. Anyway that has nothing to do with homosexual men & women showering together with heterosexual men & women TODAY, AS WE SPEAK, in Police Depts, Fire Depts., Gyms, Hospitals, etc. and that it woudn't make a difference at all in comparing that to the military There is no denying this fact. And you and everyone else knows it
interesting how you read my answer, couldn't intelligently respond to it, then decided I "avoided it," lol. facts are facts - the police, fireman, hospital workers and baseball players are NOT in the military, and they are NOT in combat. learn that, and you'll be more educated about the topic you're discussing. meanwhile, here's the question you avoided - WHY do you suppose men and women in the military, and in police and fire departments, and in Gyms, Hospitals, etc...have SEPARATE showers?
Oh my goodness. It's naivness beyond belief. How is the mlitary, a federal agency, differerent to that of other federal agencies such homosexuals, bisexuals, heterosexuals sharing bathrooms in the FAA, CIA, FTSA, OSHA, FCC, Homeland Security, etc., and other agencies that practice defense and safety that is totally related to the mlitary like the Police Dept, and Fire Dept....especially the Police Dept.
wow, more avoidance behavior - here it is again - WHY, jusi, do you suppose men and women in the military, and in police and fire departments, and in Gyms, Hospitals, etc...have SEPARATE showers, locker rooms, etc? Why do you think that is?
@usamericanz Hey thanks for brining up police and fire departments. The PDs and Fire Departments of almost all major American Cities: New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle etc. allow and ACTIVELY RECRUIT gay and lesbian officers and firefighters. Why are openly gay men and women deemed qualified to carry a badge and a gun and fight with some of the most dangerous criminals but technically unfit to swab the deck on a Coast Guard Cutter?
And besides the proven data that obese peoples are unhealthy to conduct military operations, how are physically fit and healthy homosexuals, that are able to carry out any missions, unfit or unhealthy to serve? Do you think of homosexuality as some disease?
gee, considering that the sign was put up following two incidents in a row of homosexuals engaging in sexual activity in the shower, I'd have to say NO, the sign wasn't for everyone because EVERYONE WASN'T DOING IT... why would there a sign in a men's locker room admonishing straight men not to have sex with each other....duhhhhh?
The military is not a social experiment. Okay, let gays openly serve, then we'll hear screaming from the TS/TV crowd that while really a man I want to serve as a woman. The military will never make every group happy. Someone is always gonna bitch about not being treated equal. It's a no win situation. Bottomline, the current rule is Don't Ask Don't Tell. It's an all volunteer service, so accept it or stay the fuck out. Pretty simple.
Exactly correct. Not only that, but there is NO Constitutional right to serve in the armed forces. None. Military life is a very unique and demanding set of circumstances that requires camaraderie and an esprit de corps for combat units to be effective. distractions, like openly gay soldiers, are disruptive to morale, good order and discipline. You know the rules before joining - if you are gay, you keep quiet about it. How can anyone join and then bitch about the rules later?
I don't think that anyone's innate sexuality matters during times of war or peace, I think what really matters is conduct, and most Homosexuals ARE able to conduct themselves professionally as do most Heterosexuals. And people, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, religion, should be judge according to their conduct and NOT judge according to their innate sexuality (hetero, bi, homo). It's evident as homosexuals work professionally alongside Heterosexuals in everywhere in the job force.
jusitke07, i agree - most people, regardless of their sexual orientation, probably can engage in appropriate conduct....yet we STILL insist on separate barracks, separate showers, separate latrines, etc., for men and women. why? why aren't men and women in the military allowed to share the same berthing spaces, dress and undress in front of each other, share the same showers, etc...? is it simply a lack of professionalism between men and women, or...?
What? That doesn't make any sense at all. It's further discrminiation AND segregation. Okay usamericanz answer me this: what's the difference between homosexuals & heterosexuals in showers together in the Fire Dept., Police Dept., Hospital Employee bathrooms, Gyms, Baseball Teams showers Basketball Team showers, Football Team showers, Nude beach resort areas etc.,to that of the military?
it's not discrimination unless you have a right to do it in the first place - there is NO right to serve in the military. they can decide what the requirements are and who they'll accept. as to your question about shared showers in other places, I can tell you a personal experience about the gym where I work out recently - I walked into the locker room and there was a sign that said "any attempt at sexual activity will result in prosecution." gee, do ya think that sign was for the heteros?
Exactly! Anybody, that means Heterosexuals, Bisexuals, and Homosexuals, conducting themselves in an inappropriate manner will be subjected to whatever laws that dictate against indescent acts, which should also be enforced in the military as the DADT policy is repealed. Any sexual activity between two consenting adults (gay or straight) should be done in privacy. And everyone has the right to privacy, meaning "MIND YOUR BUSINESS! And you didn't answer the question about Police Dept., Fire Dept..
that's the thing that most people don't understand....there is essentially NO privacy in the military, at least not for the first few years until you make rank. you live, bunk, shower, shave and shit together. if you want to know why openly gay soldiers and sailors are a problem, just ask a female vet or active duty how she would feel about sharing a shower with men. it doesn't work. too much tension, too many distractions, and it is would not be conducive to good order and discipline.
Wait a minute? Are you for real when you say, and I quote, "there is essentially NO privacy in the military, at least not for the first few years until you make rank"...??? And co-ed universal showers....do you know what a Nude beach resort is and what they consists of?
Exactly! How is anyone, I repeat, ANYONE, going to think of sex during combat? Let alone how is it that everyone in Nude Beach Resorts conduct themselves in a well-behaved manner which is not even a combat situation? Isn't it just mind boggling? Please answer me that
dude, wait, let me call some people over her to witness the full depths of your ignorance on this, because it truly is astounding. ok, gang's all here - here's the thing, jusi - if you really don't understand the DIFFERENCE between being an active duty combat soldier stuck in Iraq for 13 months, needing camaraderie and esprit de corps to survive, and a day jaunt to a nude beach, there's really not much point in continuing the conversation - you don't have the tools necessary to participate.
So let me ask you this mtnbkr65, so what about those Homosexuals who want to voluteer to serve their country, and yet this DADT policy, which sanctions bigotry because it tell those homosexuals that are willing to give their life for their country, that they have to lie about their innate sexuality, and pretend to be something their not...a heterosexual...??? Why is that whenever somebody can "read" someone else as a "closet homosexual" it would allow other to then harass or tease him as faggot?
the military sanctions 'bigotry' against the obese, too, because it also has weight requirements...and it doesn't matter if you can pass the physical stuff at your weight, either - if you are overweight for your height according to military standards, you will NOT get in. you gay activist-types seem to think the military is the same as civilian life, civilian jobs, etc. it isn't. the unique demands and requirements of military service mandate certain policies and requirements.
You're wrong in calling "bigotry against the obese" which is a bad comparison. Anyone with common sense that sending an obese person (gay, bi, and/or straight) will not help with the strength of our military because it's been scientificaly & medically proven that obesity is unhealthy and unfit to serve in the military and detrimental to the overall military integrity. Explain to me how are physically fit and healthy homosexuals that are able to carry out any missions unfit or unhealthy to serve.
@quarterexchange I really, really think you're trying to put words into my mouth in an effort make yourself try and win this debate. Sorry, but your efforts won't work. And futile considering that repeal is inevitable. You do know that repeal will happen soon enough right?
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange If you look back at all my comments, why would you then tell me, " You said DADT was repealed therefore it was wrong."
Are you serious?
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchangen Well your comment of Prop 8 is irrelevant. However, the reason they repealed Jim Crow laws, is the same reason why they repealed the DADT law. And that's because of hate. Kicking out critical veterans, especiall the Arab Translators, just because they happen to be gay is discriminatory. Hence, the repeal of DADT. Any more comments from you to beat around the bush despite the soon-coming repeal?
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange Well, if you're going to bring up something different from the military, I'll say that just because the Jim Crow Laws was written does that make it right to legally segregate? Nope.
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange Well...DADT is not right, that's why it's a repealed law.
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange Hey did you read the news today. It seems the Marines (of all military branches huh) is now the first miltiary branch to initiate the implementation of DADT. So....just saying :)
jusitke07 11 months ago

Where have you been?
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange keep on with the rhetoric, DADT is repealed. Will you even accept that reality?
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange No, it's more like you trying to drive our conversation in circles. But hey, you have the freedom to call it "cop out" and whatever rhetoric you can come up with if it makes you feel better. Futile nevertheless. But the repeal will happen...you're defeated.
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange Cop out? Oh I don't think so. It's more like defeat for you. And you know it too.
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange I knew you'd say that. I just figured I'd cut the rhetoric and get to the point, and throw that at you, and see the calculated words come out. And it worked. Interesting. So now it's more like reality bites for you about DADT soon to be repealed.
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange Well we'll just have to wait and see decades from now when DADT is officially repealed this coming April now won't we? :)
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange And there you go again with the "if we have separate genders, we then should separate Gays from Straights"
Look you're obviously taking this conversation into a circle it's making me dizzy at times. But if you want to play that silly game, it takes two to tango at this. So again, you idea of separate areas from Homosexuals & Bisexuals from the Heterosexuals is moot, because there are already showering, and in close quarters together everywhere including the military.
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange Well of course I can't say gay relations haven't caused issues with our allies...because there aren't any to be reported. Homosexuals within our allies served openly for quite some time and with professionalism. And so can our American Homosexual Veterans once DADT is finally repealed by March or April.
jusitke07 11 months ago

@quarterexchange said, " No they do contribute but it's best if they aren't open"
Well at least you know that there are Gays in the Military. But about 70% of active duty members from ALL branches of the military knows who exactly are the Homosexuals in their unit. That means they knowingly shower with these Homosexuals...voluntarily. Any cases of ruined unit cohesion? Nope.
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange No I'm not agreeing with you at all. I'm saying that it comes with the territory. So here's a test for you: let's hypothetically say if it were the UK's war with Iraq & Afghanistan. The UK (with their gays serving openly btw) then sends 30,000 troops, and the US sends 5,000 troops. Which country do suppose will have the highest numbers of casualties?
jusitke07 11 months ago
Now, again, are you next going to tell me that American Homosexuals never existed in the US military nor ever contributed to the fights in Afghan & Iraq wars?
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange Those casualty numbers are there because of the large amount of troops we've given compared to the UK. Remember this is our war, not the UK, yet they volunteered to help and they gave a small amount of their troops. So with large numbers comes large numbers of casualties and with small numbers comes small numbers of casualties. I'm sure if it were the other way around, perhaps the numbers would've been different. That doesn't make the UK any different from us keep in mind.
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange Wow, I suppose you're going to tell me that Homosexuals never existed in the US Military nor ever contributed to the fights in the Afghan & Iraq wars, right?
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange Do you suppose we lost 5,000 because our military kicked out the most critical personnel needed to get the mission done safely? Like the 300+ military member that were kicked out DURING the two wars, most of which are language interpretors who speak mostly Arabic? Or how about the ones kicked out from the infantry, thus lessening our infantry forces making them more susceptible to the enemy? No wonder the UK has less casualties than us.
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange Really? Are you implying that the Israelis don't always go to war or are a weak military because they allowed Gays to serve openly? And do you think the same for the UK, who supported us in the Afghan & Iraqi campaigns? Or how about the Canadian Gays who served openly and we worked with them? Do you know of any known documented problems working with Openly Gays from our allies?
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange Yes, try and prove it. Because our allies don't seem to have any problems. And you do know that there are Homosexual men in showers and naked with Bisexual men, and Heterosexual men in Fire Depts., Police Depts, High School showers, College/University Dorms & showers, Sports Gyms, Fitness Gyms, Public showers, Public Swimming pools, CIA Locker rooms, FAA Locker rooms, Homeland Security Locker rooms and showers, AND the Military too right?
jusitke07 11 months ago
@quarterexchange Prove it.

PatrioticEagle50 1 year ago
@quarterexchange You have the freedom to think of me whatever it is you want. The fact remains however, there are feminine gay guys and butchy maculine women in the military right now despite DADT. And there are many in the military that shower, eat, and sleep in military encampments with them. And if you don't think there are feminine guys and masculine women in the military, then I don't you're in the mlitary. But then again, that's none of my business right?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Okay "bloody moron" you don't know what goes on m life, so don't make assumptions of others of whom you've never met. Whether I'm in the military or not, is none of your business. There was an all black battalion in the Pacific theatre, and Europe also.

jusitke07 1 year ago
Before I go to bed, check this out from USA Today dated May 7th
President Harry Truman and family.
CAPTIONThe Truman familyOpponents of the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy regarding gay soldiers are lobbying President Obama with the descendant of a Democratic Party icon. The grandson of President Harry Truman has written Obama a letter urging him to repeal the policy
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange
1. Flamboyant Homosexuals...closeted? I don't think so. Everybody can read the Gay guys in my unit like a book. But they do a damn good job.
2. 73 percent of military personnel are comfortable with lesbians and gays (Zogby International, 2006). The younger generations, those who fight America's 21st century wars, largely don't care about whether someone is gay or not-and they do not link job performance with sexual orientation
jusitke07 1 year ago
If you really want my answer to your quesiton if men should shower with women in the miltiary, then yes, why not? If the public at large can do it in nude beach resorts around the world why not?
Now are there Homosexuals, Biseuxals, and Heterosexual already in showers together everywhere, including the miltiary?
jusitke07 1 year ago
Oh I answered it with another question. You can't seem to answer mine. Face it, you can't admit to the fact that there are already Flamboyant Homosexuals in the military.
I think I answered your question pretty much with public nude resorts in the world too, where everyone of all ages are naked. Heterosexual men conduct themselves professionally too....
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange
1. Are there Gays, Bisexuals, Straights in showers together everywhere, including the miltiary?
2. Do you think that the Zogby poll showing the majority in the miltiary now, want the repeal of DADT?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Hey, you can call me whatever it is you want, that's your freedom. But that's not my problem you're not happy with the answers I gave you. Do you think I'm that stupid to give answers you want to see?
Are there already Gays, Bisexuals, and Heterosexuals already showering together everywhere, including the miltiary?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange And that's my answer, and stickin' to it. And if you don't like that answer...then that's your problem to deal with isn't it? The fact remains however, that in my unit, we know who exactly are the Homosexuals, and we work, eat, and shower together with no problems at all. And you seem to ignore my question to you...so what's your problem?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange I did answer you question. Don't try your "you didn't answer my question" tactic on me...it won't work.
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange No, my point is, why should the numbers of men be part of this discussion. It's irrelevant, because in general, there are men (Homos, Bis, Heteros) showering together. Which goes to show, you're argument of shower situations...fail.
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange What? Now you're wanting to know the numbers? Is that all you can do? Is "a lot" a good answer for you?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange See there it is again with the shower issues.....now for the 653rd time huh. Anyway, The gays in my unit is already showering with the other guys, and htere are no problems....so what's your problem?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Well then don't bring up your shower issue....for the 652nd time. Plus the military members of my unit, and I'm sure most Homosexuals in the miltary right now, are flamboyantly Homosexuals. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they follow with what DADT says and all, but they're characteristics speaks louder than words. So my unit knows exactly who are the gay ones, but my unit again, still showers with him, eats together with him, and work with him.
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Ah ah, your shower issues failed in this argument, because there are already Homosexuals, Bisexuals, and Heterosexuals showering together everywhere...even in the military. Sorry try again. Oh, and most members of unit shower with those known to be Homosexuals, and they still don't have an issue with it. It's only an issue, if you make it to be one. Also known as an Instigator.

@quarterexchange I'm glad you know for a fact that India decrimilized Homosexuality.

@quarterexchange You know, the military super powers of the world are the European Union, Russia, China, India, and the US. Now, would you be surprised if I told you India decriminilized Homosexuality? And that Gay Marriage is now celebrated in India? So it begs the question are there gays in India's military?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Yes I did. I basically said that there are Homosexuals, Bisexuals, and Heterosexuals in showers together everywhere from Fire Depts., Police Depts., Public Swimming Pools, the Military, College & University Gyms, SWAT Teams, etc., makes your argument of shower issues a failed one. Heck, you've even acknowledge that fact.

@quarterexchange said "Simply paying taxes does not entitle you to a job in the military."
So what you're essentially saying is that American citizens that are Homosexuals should be tax exempt from the military?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange said, "The fact that a country is free or oppressive does not do anything for the military. The govt. and the military are almost entirely seperate entities"
Oh really? And where do you suppose the miltiary get's it's fiscal budgets? The government paid for by taxpayers, or Heterosexual citizens only?

@quarterexchange Okay, with women in the miltiary, tell what you think of this:
From the Associated Press dated Thu Apr 29, 11:44 pm ET
KINGS BAY NAVAL SUBMARINE BASE, Ga. The first U.S. women allowed to serve aboard submarines will be reporting for duty by 2012, the Navy said Thursday as the military ordered an end to one of its few remaining gender barriers.
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange said, It proves that Heterosexuals, Bisexuals, and Homosexuals are united together in their respective country along with being united with other free countries against those countries like Russia, China, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iran, and the rest of the countries that have ONLY Heterosexuals in their miltiary. But thank you for acknowledging that Fact that the US will join with the rest of the free world who allowed their Gays and Bisexuals to serve openly.
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Wrong, men and women have the instinct to protect anybody regardless of gender or sexual orientation. It's not all about Men protecting women.
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Oh really? Direct me to the website of where you got the info that "women got shot the men who were attracted to them forgot the mission"
And I don't know why you're suddenly blaming Heterosexual issues to Homosexuals.
jusitke07 1 year ago
I thought I'd just throw this in for shits & grins:

@quarterexchange Okay I see the desperate measure here as you take old, outdated news from 1948, and now try to make that legitimate to the current United States. And I see you can't answer the question as to how exactly the private lives of American Homosexual Veterans physically kill others?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Like asked you before, in my war scenario, which side do you suppose our country would join? The ones with Russia, China, North Korea? Or the ones with Canada, UK, France, Germany, Sweden,....and many more to mention.????
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Okay, it'd be nice if you posted a date and time. So looked up your article and it basically talks about women being of the "weaker sex" so they barred them from the combat zone, which has absolutely nothing to do with DADT and/or Gays in the Military. So are you now trying to align that American Homosexual Veterans are the "weaker sex" ??
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange said, "In Israel men and women got in relationships in the military. When they went to battle and one partner was killed or wounded, the other partner would lose morale, rush to their aid, forget..."
Prove it.
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Again, prove you speculations about Israel. Otherwise, you made it up.
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Well the British realized that personal lives of Homosexual veterans doesn't affect the mission at all.
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange You don't have proof of your guess in our allies versus the countries with severe human rights issues. So looking at that scenario I pulled up, which side do you suppose the US will join?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Killing somebody is benign when you try and compare it to Homosexuals. Because Heterosexuals kill others as well. Killing somebody does physical harm directly to the other individual. The personal lives of two consenting adults (Gay or Straight) doesn't affect others whatsoever. I mean seriously, how can a personal life of an American Homosexual Veteran directly kill another? Ya see what I mean?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Okay so leaving the US out of the picture, imagine this kind of war:
Russia, China, India, and North Korea VS France, Germany, Denmark, UK, Sweden, Norway, Luxembourg, Israel, Mexico, Canada, Australia, Philippines, Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Spain, Chile, South Africa, Italy, Belgium, Japan, New Zealand, ...
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange "European courts outright declared it illegal"...And for good reason. Think about it. How does the personal life of an American Homosexual Veteran directly affect the personal lives of other vets? How? Will it make them Gay too?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Prove your comments about Israel.
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Fire depts, and Police Depts don't have high disciplinary standards?!! You're kidding me right? Okay, how about SWAT teams?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange European courts saw it from a logical point of view, reasoned with Britain and they complied with. Now are there any problems of unit cohesion with the British military? Nope.
And if you think America is different to that of our allies such as the British, French, German, etc., then where do you suppose in our US military did bagpipes, berets, current helmets, tanks, and mlitary generals come from?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Thank you for at least being honest about it too. Just like in other places like public swimming pools, fire departments, police departments, British Military, French Military, Mexican Military, Israeli Military, and the rest of the free world there are Gays, Bisexuals, and Straights already showering together. So your argument of potential showers issues....fails. ;-)
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Oh yes I have. Nonetheless, I'll say it again, your argument of shower issues in the military fails because as I said before, there are already Gays, Bisexuals, and Straights showering together everywhere, including the military. Am I correct or not?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange I already did answer your questions, but you keep throwing back the same thoughts of Gays in the Showers with Straights when we all know for a fact that Gays are in the showers with Straights and Bisexuals everywhere, including the miltiary. And yet you keep bringing us back in circles about the shower situation. So I pretty much shot you down with the fact that Gays are ALREADY in showers with Biseuxals, and Straights everywhere, incuding the miltiary.
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Wow now you're on with the name calling and cursing here and there. I must've pushed a button...gooooood. Anyway, would you like to see Admiral Mike Mullens comment about DADT? How about Secretary Robert Gates? Or wait, I really think you'd like Retired General Colin Powell's and General Petraeus thoughts on DADT. ;-)
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange I see you've yet again failed to provide any news article that argues for DADT....I think it is I who shot you down. :-)
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange I see you can't find an article that supports DADT. It figures. Would you be surprised if I gave you a Youtube video link that even Fox News supports Gays in the Military?
And since when have you "shot down" any of my arguments? You just going in circles, so I have to just instead show you newclips of the irrationality of DADT.
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange I'd like to see you find a news clip that logically explains any reasonable findings that favors keeping DADT. Otherwise it goes to show DADT is worthless.
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Nor does making something stupid such as DADT into law doesn't make it right
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Oh look, I found this in the Omaha World-Herald dated April 26th, 2010
The University of Iowa political science major has started a petition seeking to push Iowa lawmakers to not enforce the federal prohibition on homosexual and bisexual soldiers from disclosing their sexual orientation
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange, check out this news from the The Huffington Post dated April 26, 2010:
"The military is taking some steps toward repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell..." YAY ;-)
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange So I guess you do side with communist ideals of Russia, China, and North Korea and that you like the miltiary policies of those countries in banning Homosexuals from serving....you're true colors are exposed. Thank you for telling the truth about yourself.
jusitke07 1 year ago
Hey you're the one who brought up men showering with women...not me. So the Gays in the military are able to shower with Straights in most countries, and there are Gays showering with Straights in Fire Depts across the world, and there are Gays showering together in Colleges & Universities sport gyms, and on, and on... ;-)
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Oh the US military has many influences from foreign militaries. Heck, the US has most influences from Europe. Plus where do you suppose most Americans claim their heritage from? Europe. If you can tell me where in the world berets, bagpipes, military battle formations (Greco/Roman influence),
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Again newsflash for ya, there are already Gays showering together with Straights in militaries across the free world like Israel, UK, France, South Africa, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, etc....and including the US. And would you believe me that there are Heterosexual men already showering with women? Ever heard of something called a nude resort?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Okay so now you think Homosexuals aren't capable of conducting themselves professionally right?
You know Heterosexual men conduct themselves professionally at nude resorts for everyone men, women, and children?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Good, I'm glad that you're a open-minded person to think that Homosexuals are professional enough to be in the mlitary. Now, why is it okay for Heterosexuals to talk openly about their personal lives in the military workplace and yet it's not okay for Homosexuals to talk about their personal lives in the work place?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Why? What's there to be afraid of when the DADT is repealed? Do you really think ALL Gay Veterans will then rape the entire military?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange What? UK & Israel up to par with the US military what the hell you talking about. But again nevertheless, thank you for acknowledging the fact that Gays contributed in every of America's war.
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Nonetheless, I'm glad you acknowledge the fact that there are Gays in the military. And it woudln't make a difference just like how our allies did it when they allowed Gays to serve openly without any documented reports of bad unit cohesion. So do tell me your thoughts on Israel's & UK military with their Gays serving openly?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Let me ask you this: Aren't there Gays, Bisexuals, and Straights together in showers, dressing in open bay areas, and sleeping in dorms together already in the US Military right now?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange Nevertheless, because in general, there were Gays in the US military from the get go. Right?
jusitke07 1 year ago
@quarterexchange And what makes you assume that there was no such thing as American Homosexual Veterans who contributed to America's military might?

The U.S. Military has made it clear that homosexuals in the military would be a health hazard.
The average lifespan of a homosexual is 50 years (FRI). Their actions are distorted and sick minded. Let's keep only honorable people in the military, not deviated people.
ItalianSEAL 1 year ago
@ItalianSEAL If you are really Italian, your home country (Italy) allows openly gay and lesbian servicemembers. The average lifespan of a homosexual is 50 years??? REALLY? What is FRI? Shouldn't it be FYI?
dino0967 1 year ago
Italy also allows abortion on demand... Most "Italians" have cast the traditional values of family and faith....
Do I agree with them? NO.
(Family Research Institute-FRI as well as taking a biology class on disease- homosexual behavior destroys the immune system)

I suppose the next thing you're going to tell me is that there is NO such thing as today's homosexuals, bisexuals, heterosexuals sharing open bay showers in Polic Depts, Fire Depts, Public and/or Private Gyms, Hospital employees bathrooms, etc....??
jusitke07 2 years ago
ah, avoiding the question again - well, let me put it up for you so you know that you'lll keep getting the same question until you answer it - WHY, jusi, do you suppose men and women in the military, and in police and fire departments, and in Gyms, Hospitals, etc...have SEPARATE showers, locker rooms, etc? Why do you think that is?
usamericanz 2 years ago
Okay, here is the logical question: You and I agree that there is no such thing as co-ed showers in the mlitary, police dept. fire dept, hospitals, gyms, etc...yet. But are you saying at this point in time and on, there is NO such thing as homosexuals, bisexuals, and heterosexuals sharing showers in the the military, in police and fire departments, and in Gyms, Hospitals, etc?

And besides the proven data that obese peoples are unhealthy to conduct military operations, how are physically fit and healthy homosexuals, that are able to carry out any missions, unfit or unhealthy to serve? Do you think of homosexuality as some disease?
jusitke07 2 years ago
But, you're avoiding the questions yet again: what's the difference between homosexuals & heterosexuals in showers together in the Fire Dept., Police Dept., Hospital Employee bathrooms, Gyms, Baseball Teams showers Basketball Team showers, Football Team showers, Nude beach resort areas etc.,to that of the military?
jusitke07 2 years ago
jusitke, i have a question for you - WHY do you suppose men and women in the military, and in police and fire departments, and in Gyms, Hospitals, etc...have SEPARATE showers, locker rooms, etc? Why do you think that is?
usamericanz 2 years ago
Just as I thought, avoiding the question with another invalid question. Co-ed showers is irrelevant at this point in time. Plus you denied my question about Nude beach Resorts. Anyway that has nothing to do with homosexual men & women showering together with heterosexual men & women TODAY, AS WE SPEAK, in Police Depts, Fire Depts., Gyms, Hospitals, etc. and that it woudn't make a difference at all in comparing that to the military There is no denying this fact. And you and everyone else knows it
jusitke07 2 years ago
interesting how you read my answer, couldn't intelligently respond to it, then decided I "avoided it," lol. facts are facts - the police, fireman, hospital workers and baseball players are NOT in the military, and they are NOT in combat. learn that, and you'll be more educated about the topic you're discussing. meanwhile, here's the question you avoided - WHY do you suppose men and women in the military, and in police and fire departments, and in Gyms, Hospitals, etc...have SEPARATE showers?
usamericanz 2 years ago
Oh my goodness. It's naivness beyond belief. How is the mlitary, a federal agency, differerent to that of other federal agencies such homosexuals, bisexuals, heterosexuals sharing bathrooms in the FAA, CIA, FTSA, OSHA, FCC, Homeland Security, etc., and other agencies that practice defense and safety that is totally related to the mlitary like the Police Dept, and Fire Dept....especially the Police Dept.
jusitke07 2 years ago
wow, more avoidance behavior - here it is again - WHY, jusi, do you suppose men and women in the military, and in police and fire departments, and in Gyms, Hospitals, etc...have SEPARATE showers, locker rooms, etc? Why do you think that is?
usamericanz 2 years ago
@usamericanz Hey thanks for brining up police and fire departments. The PDs and Fire Departments of almost all major American Cities: New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle etc. allow and ACTIVELY RECRUIT gay and lesbian officers and firefighters. Why are openly gay men and women deemed qualified to carry a badge and a gun and fight with some of the most dangerous criminals but technically unfit to swab the deck on a Coast Guard Cutter?
dino0967 1 year ago
And besides the proven data that obese peoples are unhealthy to conduct military operations, how are physically fit and healthy homosexuals, that are able to carry out any missions, unfit or unhealthy to serve? Do you think of homosexuality as some disease?

jusitke07 2 years ago
"gee, do ya think that sign was for everyone?"
gee, considering that the sign was put up following two incidents in a row of homosexuals engaging in sexual activity in the shower, I'd have to say NO, the sign wasn't for everyone because EVERYONE WASN'T DOING IT... why would there a sign in a men's locker room admonishing straight men not to have sex with each other....duhhhhh?
usamericanz 2 years ago
Oh my goodness. And are you saying that there are no such thing as Heterosexual misconducts in both the military and civilian sectors?
jusitke07 2 years ago
The military is not a social experiment. Okay, let gays openly serve, then we'll hear screaming from the TS/TV crowd that while really a man I want to serve as a woman. The military will never make every group happy. Someone is always gonna bitch about not being treated equal. It's a no win situation. Bottomline, the current rule is Don't Ask Don't Tell. It's an all volunteer service, so accept it or stay the fuck out. Pretty simple.
mtnbkr65 3 years ago
Exactly correct. Not only that, but there is NO Constitutional right to serve in the armed forces. None. Military life is a very unique and demanding set of circumstances that requires camaraderie and an esprit de corps for combat units to be effective. distractions, like openly gay soldiers, are disruptive to morale, good order and discipline. You know the rules before joining - if you are gay, you keep quiet about it. How can anyone join and then bitch about the rules later?
usamericanz 2 years ago
I don't think that anyone's innate sexuality matters during times of war or peace, I think what really matters is conduct, and most Homosexuals ARE able to conduct themselves professionally as do most Heterosexuals. And people, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, religion, should be judge according to their conduct and NOT judge according to their innate sexuality (hetero, bi, homo). It's evident as homosexuals work professionally alongside Heterosexuals in everywhere in the job force.
jusitke07 2 years ago
jusitke07, i agree - most people, regardless of their sexual orientation, probably can engage in appropriate conduct....yet we STILL insist on separate barracks, separate showers, separate latrines, etc., for men and women. why? why aren't men and women in the military allowed to share the same berthing spaces, dress and undress in front of each other, share the same showers, etc...? is it simply a lack of professionalism between men and women, or...?
usamericanz 2 years ago
What? That doesn't make any sense at all. It's further discrminiation AND segregation. Okay usamericanz answer me this: what's the difference between homosexuals & heterosexuals in showers together in the Fire Dept., Police Dept., Hospital Employee bathrooms, Gyms, Baseball Teams showers Basketball Team showers, Football Team showers, Nude beach resort areas etc.,to that of the military?
jusitke07 2 years ago
it's not discrimination unless you have a right to do it in the first place - there is NO right to serve in the military. they can decide what the requirements are and who they'll accept. as to your question about shared showers in other places, I can tell you a personal experience about the gym where I work out recently - I walked into the locker room and there was a sign that said "any attempt at sexual activity will result in prosecution." gee, do ya think that sign was for the heteros?
usamericanz 2 years ago
And you didn't answer the question about Police Dept., Fire Dept..
jusitke07 2 years ago
that's the thing that most people don't understand....there is essentially NO privacy in the military, at least not for the first few years until you make rank. you live, bunk, shower, shave and shit together. if you want to know why openly gay soldiers and sailors are a problem, just ask a female vet or active duty how she would feel about sharing a shower with men. it doesn't work. too much tension, too many distractions, and it is would not be conducive to good order and discipline.
usamericanz 2 years ago
Wait a minute? Are you for real when you say, and I quote, "there is essentially NO privacy in the military, at least not for the first few years until you make rank"...??? And co-ed universal showers....do you know what a Nude beach resort is and what they consists of?
jusitke07 2 years ago
do you really NOT understand the difference between serving in a combat unit in Iraq and going to a nude beach? i mean, really??
usamericanz 2 years ago
Exactly! How is anyone, I repeat, ANYONE, going to think of sex during combat? Let alone how is it that everyone in Nude Beach Resorts conduct themselves in a well-behaved manner which is not even a combat situation? Isn't it just mind boggling? Please answer me that
jusitke07 2 years ago
dude, wait, let me call some people over her to witness the full depths of your ignorance on this, because it truly is astounding. ok, gang's all here - here's the thing, jusi - if you really don't understand the DIFFERENCE between being an active duty combat soldier stuck in Iraq for 13 months, needing camaraderie and esprit de corps to survive, and a day jaunt to a nude beach, there's really not much point in continuing the conversation - you don't have the tools necessary to participate.
usamericanz 2 years ago
So let me ask you this mtnbkr65, so what about those Homosexuals who want to voluteer to serve their country, and yet this DADT policy, which sanctions bigotry because it tell those homosexuals that are willing to give their life for their country, that they have to lie about their innate sexuality, and pretend to be something their not...a heterosexual...??? Why is that whenever somebody can "read" someone else as a "closet homosexual" it would allow other to then harass or tease him as faggot?
jusitke07 2 years ago
the military sanctions 'bigotry' against the obese, too, because it also has weight requirements...and it doesn't matter if you can pass the physical stuff at your weight, either - if you are overweight for your height according to military standards, you will NOT get in. you gay activist-types seem to think the military is the same as civilian life, civilian jobs, etc. it isn't. the unique demands and requirements of military service mandate certain policies and requirements.
usamericanz 2 years ago
You're wrong in calling "bigotry against the obese" which is a bad comparison. Anyone with common sense that sending an obese person (gay, bi, and/or straight) will not help with the strength of our military because it's been scientificaly & medically proven that obesity is unhealthy and unfit to serve in the military and detrimental to the overall military integrity. Explain to me how are physically fit and healthy homosexuals that are able to carry out any missions unfit or unhealthy to serve.
