And for people who were asking what is sprayed on coke plants it is glyphosate, "a broad-spectrum systemic herbicide, typically sprayed and absorbed through the leaves, injected into the trunk, or applied to the stump of a tree, used to kill weeds, especially perennials and broadcast or used in the cut-stump treatment as a forestry herbicide", according to wikipedia. As they said, colombian goverment uses to kill the coke crops. The problem is glyposhate also affects other different crops.

To produce cocaine, you need and industrial process, which destroys the coca leaf and extracts only one alkaloid.
