The reason theres a shitload of weapons its because they use a random weapon generator, so it will be .0000000001% chance that you get a weapon you already have.
@SMG2fanatic for one they are not the same. But if you like story line, get fallout. if you like killing anything and everything...including yourself...as well as infinit guns, crazy shit, and a game that the makers said "fuck everything" when designing it. get borderlands. Its an amazing game.

why are you comparing this game to fallout 3? the two have absolutely NOTHING in common in terms of gameplay besides the first person view, they both have guns, and they both have quests. Thats IT. Borderlands is infinitly better than fallout 3 could ever HOPE to be.

It really doesnt, there is two huge differences. One, the art style, and two its not a apocolyptic setting like in fallout 3, its a planet that has mountains of debris. Fallout 3 doesnt. :P
I've had this game since release and am still loving it. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the look of it. You won't be disserpointed.

@strasaphere Yeah, I got it, played co op with my brother, and I was sketchy about getting it because the graphics didnt look like the game would be very much more than a FPS, then I played it and I was like "I love this art style, it looks cool...."
