I have an EVO. If this evo is on the stock turbo then I am Santa Claus. These Evos are a bitch to maintain and. I had a 9 with an FP black on it. Had to rebuild the fucking motor every 3 months practically. Now my Evo X is staying closer to stock cause I prefer to have a car that works most of the time. I would rather have the Vette between these two in the vid.

@forcespin No it doesn't, I have an Evo myself and I can say that with confidence. There isn't many 600whp FP black evos running around, I assure you that. On average the Z06 will be beating Evos.
The 4G63T has the highest output HP ratio of any production car ever. 200HP per liter on the FQ-400. The ZR1 produces 126HP per liter. Both ZR1 and FQ-400 are the company's top of the line production vehicle.

@sergsrt8 It's probably not a built to hell 4G63 considering Stock turbo, stock block Evo's have run mid to high 10's with basically E85 conversions. IE: Fuel pump, injectors, boost controller and tune. The more you know! Evo's are bad ass man and the 4G63 is no joke for a 2 L.
@TheSmoonge In that case, you should add four more cylinders and 4 liters of engine and it would make it even for the Mitsubishi Evolution. I think its amazing that both cars are soo different and yet so close to the same performance ratio.
@FlippingElf Good point. However, if both were the same displacement, number of cylinders and had turbos, it's hard to say which would win because any motor can be made to be 1000+ hp with the right hardware. I'd say kudos to both cars.
@TheSmoonge Not really, my supercharged Corvette has been walked bad by Evo's on the highway from rolls that should have been in my favor. Not saying it's common for that to happen but it has happened. Plus they get instant traction, my car with 345's on the rear still has a hard time hooking up in cooler weather.

i will never understand why anyone would rather have that evo over the Z06. I would much rather be in a Z06 any given day. Doing 150+ MPH in an EVO just seems far more riskier than a car built to handle 200 MPH vs a car built to just get up to speed quick
@pandorafake no. that is a c6 z06, it has the 7.0. they are factory rated at 505 crank hp. your thinking of the c5 z06 that ended in 04' those were ls6 and rated at 405hp.

That's where you get the different 0-60 numbers. I have a c5 ls1 vette with 350 hp that still rocks a stock evo with a 4.5 0-60 time. And 1/4 time.

@kowclubproductions congrats..... awesome.. great.... The zo6 has a 6 liter engine to a wrx's 2.0 liter. They arent remotely in the same catagory. Thats like comparing a nice fast porsche to lets say.. a tricked out 1998 volvo s70t5. The volvo costs 100,000 less and has half the technology, but it keeps up with the porche. The fact that a stage 2 wrx with 230 hp to the wheels can keep up with a zo6 is my point. Most other cars would get super dusted.
@rippendorber i do understand what you are saying but your just exaggerating to an extreme. yes you can make a wrx or evo faster than a corvette but not with half the power. with all variables set, same crank hp, same weight, and same aerodynamics, the awd car is going to have more drivetrain loss and make it slower from a highway run. so unless the cars have like 700+ hp there not going to break loose over 60 and the awd will have no advantage.
I have walked z06s a lot of times. c5 or c6...and i roll in a piece of shit rwd car with less than 300 hp ...Maybe I am wrong but most vette owners that pipe their cars think they own the fastest cars on the planet. So walking a vette is not a big thing.

i will never understand why anyone would rather have that evo over the Z06. I would much rather be in a Z06 any given day. Doing 150+ MPH in an EVO just seems far more riskier than a car built to handle 200 MPH vs a car built to just get up to speed quick

Ripp fail! I was stating that your comparison was flawed as 4 horses would have 2x the power as 2 horses. Dummy. The 2001 z06 actually had 385 hp and the 2002 had 405. That's where you get the different 0-60 numbers. I have a c5 ls1 vette with 350 hp that still rocks a stock evo with a 4.5 0-60 time. And 1/4 time.

Thats like comparing a nice fast porsche to lets say.. a tricked out 1998 volvo s70t5. The volvo costs 100,000 less and has half the technology, but it keeps up with the porche. The fact that a stage 2 wrx with 230 hp to the wheels can keep up with a zo6 is my point. Most other cars would get super dusted.

All the power on the c6 goes to the rear wheels. the power in the evo is going to all the wheels at the same time... it is way more efficient...Imagine having 2 wagons that weight the same....one has 2 horses and the other has 4.....the one with 4 wins every time... dont you wonder why a stock 2002 wrx does 0-60 in 5.5 seconds with 220 hp? my stage 2 wrx smokes any v8 that has no more than 100 hp more than me.......

@rippendorber from a 60mph roll neither of them are gonna be breaking loose, so the evo with the far less power and the huge amount more drivetrain drag is gonna loose. if you know anything about evos you would know that when someone is running e85 its because then they can run way more boost. so evo is probably running somewere in the neighborhood of 500awhp. also my friends dad has an 03 wrx, its a great car but iv riden in that and a c5 z06 and the subaru just doesnt stand a chance.
