No. You never ask a soldier if they've ever killed someone. That's common sense. You don't just ask someone, "Hey, um, have you ever killed anyone?"

from someone who is going into the navy, i hope i never have to make the choice of who lives and who dies. but if it is necessary for the protection of myself or my shipmates... i won't hesitate to defend my brothers in arms. another thing, the bible says thou shall not commit murder... the duties of a solider are not murder. it says to help your neighbor in any way you can... and if that means killing someone who would do them harm, then you have done the right thing.

right on man, that is very much what the film is about. and of course, every soldier has a conscience. for members of the armed forces who live thru that choice, they have to carry it forever. this film helps family and others to understand and maybe be able to talk about it.
