If you read my comment carefully you'll realise I said, "I first heard this track back in 1993" I did not say it was released back in 1993. Think carefully next time before getting all self-righteous.
back in the days there were no discussions about what to call it.. this purely kicked ass no matter what it was, broken beats came from the hiphop, just natural development of beatcreating.. if people would still be creating without labeling it before hand there would be much more variation.... i think...
