Something I think you could have done better on though, is during the part where the guitars started playing extra fast, that's when some of the more fast-paced and chaotic things should have been going on. This is one of my favorite songs now.

I really enjoy this kind of music- heavy, dark, melodic, a beat that doesn't overpower the song, with good lyrics and played by a talented band an an excellent singer. Unfortunately, this is quite rare. If you could suggest more music like this I'd very much appreciate it.

Hehe...well, as a longtime Blind Guardian fan I'd suggest them. As for others...heavy, dark, melodic, good singer? Well, that's subjective, though...try something like Iced Earth (awesome singer), Demons & Wizards (same singer as Blind Guardian), Stratovarius (not so good singer, but enjoyable, though much less dark and heavy), Tarot...you could even try out Metallica...and good old Black Sabbath, expecially the Ronnie James Dio years.

The gameplay is unintuitive, and riddled with poor controls, trilby's notes especially was a nightmare to control. Throwing in timed events with unintuitive written commands that yeu have to guess the right phrazing >.>

Short story, Yahtzee is a wonderful reviewer, but half the things he normally complains about he did himself in this series.

The plot's awesome, gameplay is like pulling teeth. With power tools.

You're not totally wrong, though I'd like to point out that this gameplay is tipical of adventure games. TN's gameplay was particularly tough, I agree, most times you couldn't figure out what phrasing to use.

I'm guessing, though, that people are freaking out to dinkusetcetera because of HOW he said what he said. You see, yours is a critical comment, well-written and argumented, his was just plain insulting, just plain shit-throwing. See what I mean?

There is a actually a reason to go to such extraordinary lengths to replace his Prince. He already has one - for the hell of it. Chzo is the God of Pain. In order to achieve these ends he has caused unending emotional pain and spiritual humiliation to Cabadath, DaCabe, all of the servants of the Blessed Agonies, and dozens of others. This is what pleases him. How delicious to utterly enslave Cabadath for two thousand years and then discard him like so much rubbish.

I think 7 Days A Skeptic actually is the best of the Chzo Mythos series, Trilby's Notes and 7 DAS that is.

5 Days A Stranger works really good for itself (and it's the most successfull), but I think it's the weakest of the four.

And 6 Days A Sacrifice was good, but I was really hoping for something bigger and better.

And one question remained after I played 6 DAS which I already commented on The Chzo Mythos Tribute: Why in god's name did Chzo want DaCabe?? =)

Anyways, to answer the question, Chzo orchestrated the whole thing to replace the Cabadath, who originally tried to control Chzo. Chzo wanted a 'new' prince solely dedicated to him. So the whole thing is made to corrupt DeFoe, break mind/body/soul, then instill the purified form into DaCabe.

It's one of the random hallucinations. When you take a pill, there is a chance that the first or second time you swich room you'll see an hallucination: in one of those, everything you'll do within a quite short period of time shall cause the "it hurts" message to show up...the third time, you'll see "it hurts it hurts it hurts etc".It's completely random, to me it happened trying to open a door once and trying to look at the painting the second time.

It was one of the hallucinations in TN, yes. Since it's one of those completely random hallucination it's no surprise you haven't seen them. To record all five of them I had to take pills and change rooms over and over again...

There are some parts I never saw in the 7 days that are shown in this video.... like the part where the 'monster' gets stabbed ontop of the ship, and the frame changes and shows Somerset without the EVA.. or the part in the brig where everyone in the room is wearing the mask/apron or when the character dressed in red pokes the eyeballs out of the 'monster'.. did i really miss that many parts? lol
