Hey i have a question....okay say you know how to make script production board and script, now next is to get the script read...so how do you get your script read by potential producers?  Where can I get contacts or get my script out there? How do i get started. where do i start first?

@metalsupra well if you have a good script, one that you really think will make it through layers and layers of assholes just looking for a reason to say no then you get an agent, and that person will float your script around to different producers. If you are trying to get and agent you need to have more then one script, or at least 10 more "ideas" for scripts, they may say I like you as a writer, but your idea sucks give me something else, you NEED to be able to pitch an idea on the spot.

@XXwateverloserXX thank you for the advise. okay now how do i get this agent do i look at yellow pages or something. i don't think it is that easy to get an agent and plus the cost of it not to mention if the agent can't do much and still paying him for nothing you know what i mean. and yes i do have some ideas too.

@metalsupra well it depends on where you live. In california EVERyONE is an agent. I say look online, or things like that. It isn't easy to get an agent they have to like you as a writer , and you have to be a sellable writer, not just a good one. But basically you send your script to these people/places, and they have interns look at them, and if the intern likes them then they pass them to another intern until finally they reach an agent. And the agent must then decide to represent you.

@XXwateverloserXX hm okay...i see. well im in florida don't know much about the film industry in florida. well it seems that you know a lot at least. im guessing you been through this and had some success?
