  • Well, yes the cartoons on Sesame Street is very funny about being wet and dry.

  • This cartoon segments on Sesame Street are funny. [Laughter]

  • Here,s mine. Me:I am dry(Shows archerfish in pond).He is wet.(Archerfish spits water at me).Now I,m wet too.

  • A lot of 'dry and wet' clips on early Sesame Street were cartoons (or so it seemed), but the most famous live-action one might have been the one where a man walked along the edge of a swimming pool, fell in, and came out all wet. Kids were commenting, with the last line being 'Serves him right.' This was posted about a month ago.

  • that's cool how they show not only the difference between dry and wet, but how something becomes wet from being dry.

  • Two other dry and wet clips involved a bunch of swimmers at the beach as well as one man lying on his beach blanket all nice and dry- until a big wave crashes over him, and one with a character seen in a lot of various clips who is dry and indicates some swimmers in a pool, and then a bunch of people come running out and knock him into the pool as well.

Can anyone post the dry and wet song performed by anything Muppets- the one taking place in a desert and on the "Good Ship Wet"?

  • Here's mine. Me:I am dry.(Shows kids throwing water balloons at eachother). They are wet.(Kids spot me then start throwing water baloons at me).Now I'm wet too.

  • There is one more. First a girl says "I am dry." She points to an elephant being washed "He is wet." The elephant sprays her,"Now I,m wet too."

  • I wonder if there's anything in the Bible that says you shouldn't make such a big deal about you being dry and somebody being wet? JUst look and what happened to those 3 people. Matter of fact there are 3 more of those w&d cartoons.

  • The fellow at the end sounded like Peter Lorre.

  • Here's one of my own SCENE:POOL I am dry they are wet (pointing towards swimmers). (Swimmers splash me) Now I'm wet too.

  • There's another dry / wet cartoon similar to that on Sesame Street. I remember seing it as a kid. A man is sunbathing on the beach- he says "I am dry, they are wet", pointing at some kids playing in the sea. Then they splash him, and he's wet too.
