broad minded? When did India ever gain anything from the neighbors? What we are today is because of our self reliance and efficiency and motivation to do well in life. We have been spending more money on border protection and counter-insurgency than we make from trade with these neighbors. It is best to shut the borders and divert that money to give education and jobs to the poor in India. Makes more sense.

The problem is, the Congress government is a big socio-fascist and promotes communism, radical Islam and atheism and promote violence against Hindus and Sikhs. Due to this, countries like Pakistan and CHina abuse India as their bitch. A stint of NDA rule from98-04 ensured that Hindus and Sikhs could live in peace. However, with UPA coming out again, it is dangerous for the majority community of the country to be safe.
