nope. so many people dont know this but what i do is just put the ball end through your tuning pegs. its much faster and easier. just clip the end without the ball so you dont have to wind too much.(i put the ball end thru the hole, hold the string to where its gonna go and clip the string a little farther than the trem if you lay the string out. you also dont get pointy strings on your headstock:D

if you dont want to do it that way, you still dont have to clip em becasue the edge pro trem accepts ball ends, you just push them a little farther down. the ibanez site will describe it better. but if u wana do it the old fashion way,(clip the balls) thats cool too.

um not sure what ur asking, but if you want to tune any double locking guitar(floyd equiped), if its really out of tune, you loosen the locks on the strings up by the headstock and tune the guitar normally with the tuners. this can be a little tricky and i use the 2 screws on the back of the guitar holding the springs 2 help me. then you lock the locks by the headstock, and fine tune witht the little tuners on the bridge. you dont need 2 do anything i talked abot in the first 2 comments 2 tune.
