The West, led by America needs to do everything in it's power to stop Iran from acquiring the technology and materials to build nuclear weapons. If this means bombing the plants, so be it. A nuclear Iran cannot be an option - it is too dangerous.

I agree with lakeshow499. I think the best option in the long run is to expose the Iranian people to the West through peaceful means. Give them scholarships to US universities and send them back to reform their own country. I think they have the will to do that. I lived with a young Iranian in Germany for a while, and I get the impression the Iranian youth is actually eager to embrace Western society, but is held down by religious dogma. Need to attack that problem.

i don't see iran as the agressor. the usa have around 200,000 troops in close proximity to iran, and apparently nuclear submarines. israel has a huge force and nuclear weapons as well and has not clearly ruled out using them.

I do not doubt that Iran is a threat to the world. I have a feeling that if America attacked Iran, Iran would then destroy the oil fields, drastically reducing the supply of oil to most of the world. I fear for Israel's existence with Ahmadinejad in power, and the progressing "nuclear research program" in Iran.
