A burglar COULD actually sue him if the dog did severe damage, but it really depends on the state. In the state of Florida for example, you can shoot a person breaking into your car. In Wisconsin, it is illegal. Most likely, the judge would drop the case if his dog attacked him. However, if the burglar was killed and the family wanted to due him, its still possible. Again, it depends on the state, the courts, and the judge. I have taken Criminology courses in college.

Maybe you should get cameras in your house and or garden ? An alarm isn't really that useful tbh. I'm no crook but I know there's many ways people get around them. I just know as a friend of mine owns a security install company.

LOL i need a good laugh...we have 10 sensors inside my house... when my alarm is set, if anyone breaks in through the windows or any of the doors the sensors will go off in a way of beeping sound, cops will be instantly notified, and we'd have to call the company with a code to re-activate the alarm and to shut it off and reset it...

For spastics like the guy who tried to rob pbone it should stop them though. Again I'd like to reiterate I'm NOT a burglar of any sort but a coded alarm system is something I could disarm myself with the right tools...
