Speaking of Ryuichi's fashion sense... I was reading this Ryuichi X Inoran talk back in 2003 (MUSIC PRESS VOL.3). This was how Ino described Ryu (in an "admiring" sort-of way): "first one (from Luna Sea) to cut his hair short... always challenging clothes that don't work for him."

Perhaps that's why in an MC during OND, Sugi dubbed Ryu as the #1 vocalist in the Universe, #1 "NARCISSIST" in the Universe, #1 romanticist in the Universe. (haha, Ryu-chan is a narcissist)
