  • 0:43-0:47 and 0:57-0:59 are the deleted scenes. Valuable footage people!

  • @Brickmaster4496 deleated? they were on the vhs. are they not on the dvd?

  • this movie always makes me cry

  • Following the first Land Before Time move, the girl who did the voice of Ducky was shot to death, along with her mother, in a murder-suicide by her abusive father.

  • @Marbas777 It didn't take long for memebase to show up here.

  • @Gizmo2k5 Awwww Yeaaah

  • @Marbas777 wtf?

  • Dbfg

  • If everyone could just do something. Like contact Don Bluth or something, and ask him if it is POSSIBLE, in a future release of the film, to include as bonus materil, an alternate ending and the rest of the deleted scenes, they don't have to include it in the movie though, just as bonus material. That would be great, but I think the creators must feel like it's nessecary or else they wont do it. But I think people is starting to talk about it more and more...

  • 'The emotional form of a classic.'

    Well, it is NOW.

  • My all time favorite. It means everything in my heart.

  • this brings back memorys :')

  • littlefoot FTW !

  • George Lucas and Steven Spielberg <3

  • DELETED SCENES

    Y U NO GET RELEASED?

  • Judith Barsi, the girl who voices "Ducky" got shot in the head and then set on fire by her father at age 10

  • @lolandfunny Um, thank you for sharing.....

In all seriousness, though, that is very tragic

  • @lolandfunny i hate you for this.

  • Bought the DVD. At age 28. It is a piece of youth nostalgia and quite frankly one I will show to my brother's children if he ever has any.

  • I've seen this movie 100 times and i cry every time!!!

  • holy shit, i havent seen this since i was 4

  • i still dont know little foot's species name. i just call them Long Necks. im almost 20

  • This movie is so great it can not be said with words,no wonder,George Lucas and Steven Spielberg worked on it,the best of the best... This is a movie I loved as a child, more than any other.

  • I do like An American Tail more but The Land Before Time is still a great film

I remember watching the VHS each week when I was younger back around 1990.

Its now good that its out in far better quality on DVD to.

The songs are also really grate as well.

Its just a shame there is no uncut version anywhere.

But still give The Land Before Time a 7 out of 10.

I have never also really cared for the others just this first film.

  • lol im watching the trailer and tears come to my eyes every time the music starts int he background heh...

  • @peterscoop I suggest you check this out to hear this music pretty much remastered to today's quality: /watch?v=gu5jqJ5IKNA

It's especially similar at 1:04. And I highly recommend you watch the whole thing to the end. It will make you cry.

  • I remember it was VERY sad and cried. I dont remember anything else. Maybe i should rewatch it?

  • he says one of the best films of all times ... well, 2012 and it still is!

  • There are three things I've sure of.

Graham's number is a really high number.

Josef Fritzl did not have good parenting skills.

The first Land Before Time movie was the best.

  • This was the best LBT

  • I cried watching this.

  • I used to play with my dinosaur toys while watching this.

  • i just remembered ducky nearly drowning in lava OMG

  • OMG I FRIKING LOVE THIS MOVIE all i could remember until now was random scenes and it was like a mix of my own memories, dreams and fantasy/make believe WOW

  • without question my favourite childhood film next to jurassic park haha

one of my best of the best cartoon ever

  • And then, all happy dinosaurs died in the mass extinction.

  • I remember those days...

  • Realy goerge lucas wrote this. He may have fucked up star-wars and Indiana jones but thank god he didnt fuck up my childhood.

  • Comment removed

  • I used to watch this at least twice a day!

  • Amg. Mah childhood. So nostalgic. ; v ; /weep

  • i still have all them on VHS yes i know what im watching this weekend

  • I miss this so much !

  • A new adventure is born; The adventure that started it all :)

  • wow.. this brings back memories, back in the good old days! memories that will never be forgotton♥

  • This movie was my childhood. I owned all of them. I watched them all the time. Crying ):

  • i used to hate this movie, but now i learn the lesson within this story :) its beautiful

  • i had all the movies

  • jesus :' (

  • you know what screw this i going to watch in my room and cry again

  • theres only 1 thing that offends me about this movie.....the name of it. there was no "LAND" before "TIME". and consider what the narrarater says at the beginning "in the TIME of the dinosaurs" i smell some contradiction there. dinos and man have always lived together, but after the human population grew the dino population dropped. after people forgot about them, and started finding fossils they wanted us to believe their millions of years old.

  • @pyramidhead138 humans and dinosaurs never lived together, wow, i mean, that wouldnt be forgotten? and fossils take millions of years to form and on top of that, explain carbon dating, it's a sound method of dating. Just how educated are you?

  • @suttonandepsomsadler are you an athiest?

  • @pyramidhead138 no, i'm agnostic, are you ignorant? Why must I be an atheist, surely if there is/was a God, he could quite easily have set into action evolution and the bible could simply be our own interpretations? After all, the bible is the result of thousands of years of chinese whispers, since writing didn't exist during the time of the first humans, whether adam and eve or otherwise, so it would all have been by mouth.

  • @pyramidhead138 if we as a civilization could remember the teachings of god as told by our ancestors verbally, why would we not remember dinosaurs that surely would have had more of an impact on our ancient ancestors lives as they would have been a massive threat to their existence... I mean honestly, an argument with more backbone would have been to outright deny dinosaurs ever existence and use them as a 'test' of our faith, but to think we lived together is even more absurd than that

  • @suttonandepsomsadler ok? lemme ask you another question, how the world get here?

  • @pyramidhead138 Big bang, god may or may not exist and may or may not have caused the big bang, but explain the fact that mountains are constantly getting higher/lower (tectonic plates) they weren't put there by God the same size they are now, they've taken millions of years to get to where they are now, just as fossils take millions of years. You don't bury a human and the next day get a fossil, it takes a long time

  • @suttonandepsomsadler whoa whoa whoa, hold it right there, for one thing, how do you know the earth is millions of years old? is that something your TEACHER told you? btw, theres actually no evidence for the big bang. besides no ones ever seen it happen. i see your a believer in evolution

  • @pyramidhead138

    Carbon dating.

Earth is billions of years old by the way, about 4.5 billion.

  • @pyramidhead138 You're joking, right?

  • I haven't seen this movie since around 1995 when i was 3 years old, Watching this trailer brings it all back. Happy days x

  • i have such a huge memory of dino movies through my childhood...the land that time forgot, godzilla, king kong and of course jurassic park. i cant imagine growing up without them

  • The actress of ducky was murdered by her father on the same year the film was released, RIP Judith Barsi :(

  • When i was a little kid, I remember I used to have nightmares about getting lost and having to find my way back to the Great Valley. I always got eaten by Sharp Tooth :'( I wasn't a very bright child...... Hahahaha

  • my childhood :) i hope my family still has the tape of this movie....

  • Did anyone else think of Cera's dad as though he were a cop?

  • Funny, even though it was just before my time and I only saw one of them the once I feel like it's like the Lion King! I really want to watch this!

  • this put a huge smile on my face. good old days

  • It's really a touching animation. Love to see the movie again n again ..

  • Fag.

  • If you didn't cry watching this wonderful movie there is something wrong with you. I love this movie so much even if it made me cry. Poor Little foot I wanna hug that dinosaur! D:

  • @Queenofawesome25 teh end credits always get me.... that diana ross song... brings back the memories of little foots mothers death.

  • @Queenofawesome25 I Agree. 1000% <3

  • @Queenofawesome25 i ever thought iam kind of sick, because i cry every time when i watch this movie. it made my childhood, now iam 18 years old ;).

  • /tear.

  • Land Before Time. :3

  • <3 my childhood in one movie xxxx

  • I watched this movie a few days ago on DVD. Almost made me cry. =/ The sequels are horrible imo.

  • The first one was good but all the other ones were cheesy as hell lol

  • the emotional force of a classic!!! and that was one year later!! and it came true so many years later,,its still a loved classic!

  • I love this movie. I used to have this on VHS, but it got lost...so everytime it's on TV, I have to watch it. It is truly a classic.

  • This is the funniest thing in my entire life here. When I first watched this movie when I was like 4 or 5 years old I asked my parents "how do the dinosaurs talk?"

They said you will understand when you get older. Now I went on wiki and found out the voice actor for littlefoot is Gabriel Damon. I loled because Gabriel is my name and I finally understand what they meant now. :D

  • @freejellybeans

im not trying to be cynical jellybeans but, "This is the funniest thing in my entire life here.

:D" - i dont get it? where is the connection lol

  • @bijan1982 I found out it was voice acting. I also found out that I was suppose to find out eventually because the voice actor was first named Gabriel.

  • @freejellybeans ahh i see, thats clarifies that!

  • I still remember how much of a "WTF" face I made when I learned that the kid who was the voice of Littlefoot in this also played the evil, foul-mouthed, gun-wielding kid in Robocop 2.

  • when i was a kid this use to be my favourite movie

  • i forgot why i havent seen this movie in while , and i remembered that i hate musical numbers, but i still like this movie , its just kinda awkward now

  • that freakin trailor gave me goosebumps..lol...good times

  • A great classic. The many sequels that followed is a testament to how much influence this movie had on society. It's a shame that none of the sequels could match up to the first. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th movies were decent, before drowning into the trash from the 5th onwards.

  • i legit haddd the biggest spazz whenn i saw this

  • This film had a lot of deleted scenes from it. I wish they release an uncut version of this movie. They took all those scenes out because it was too long for a family movie.

  • im 13 now i used to watch this when i was like 3 dude this is still bringing back memorise before we had them dvds we had the good old videos :)

  • @BewitchedOfficial you had a video player 10 years ago? wow.

  • @CoreyandJacksonVideo Shut up, I'm trying to read about the dinosaurs! :)

  • @CoreyandJacksonVideo Her singing killed Littlefoots mother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very beautiful film :]

im so sad that today movies films are usually cgi :[

  • I had the computer game!!! Brings back memories.

  • @Nicole3900 dude!! I had the computer game too! :D

  • anyone else look back at the first movie and just want to cry?

  • I used to watch this everyday #good times

  • 0:59 i almost cried, i'm about to go to college i need to rewaitch this movie

  • @jpaul0909 i'm so rewatching it too :P

  • I don't know if you think the same

But old disney classics are twice better than nowadays's

  • @mabelxxxbsb

i agree! nothing beats the classics!

  • yep yep yep <3

  • Oh my God! When I clicked the link to this video I thought it would be my first time watching it. I just realized that I actually watched this movie as a very young kid! I remember the characters! :'(

  • I used to watch this everyday with my dad when I got home from kindergarten :)

I miss it :'( growing up sucks.

  • Do you want to own this page? Contact me NOW!!

  • I agree with danismilez me and my Friends and my mom actually watched one the other day and still teared up those movies are still awesome and I'm 21!

  • i hope they do a re-make of this one =)

  • I'm 28 an I still watch it with my kids

  • my childhood <3

  • this was my life, everyday i would sit in front of the t.v and just be in awe of this movie.

  • This movie was from my childhood. Things were so simple around when these movies came about....I miss them. :( Movies and TV shows just aren't the same as they used to be.....this was from a much simpler time, indeed.

  • @danismilez25 me too!

  • This was a simpler time.

  • soooo nostalgic over here

  • i looooove this movie :D

  • This one most definitely was the best.

  • @MatthijnDijkstra because it was for all ages. The others after this one were mostly aimed towards children. I just took out the DVD collection and rewatched all of them and curious to see what responces were on them.

  • how can someone possibly dislike this kind of animation? i just adore this movie and the other ones on the series as well. they made my childhood and they are still bringing us a bite from the old way of thinking that we as people used to have. i'm really disappointed that we started living for money than living for the things that are important. "if we hold on together " we can make this world better than it is right now.

  • @spongebobboom that's because 14 people never made it to teh Great Valley

  • @lioncircleantilope : right . good point. :)))) they should go. :)))

  • The music really did it :D

  • This shows how epic these old movies were, they didn't even need shading for the artwork to look amazing!

  • Why on earth can we not have movies like this anymore?! Don Bluth needs to produce more movies like this and The Secret of Nimh. I'm sick of all of these mind-numbingly stupid movies. When I get into animation I hope to bring this style back!

  • @SayaHimitsuzukiBFA haha you and me both, I want to work with animation as well :E

  • @SaberWingDragon Well, good luck with your quest to be an animator~ :3

  • @SayaHimitsuzukiBFA you too :D

  • R.I.P Judith Barsi :(

  • Oh my god i love this moive :)

  • Immense nostalgia onset - /engaged

  • this brings back so many memories.

  • i like ducky...

  • Some things you see with your eyes. Others you see with your heart. THIS

  • King=Littlefoot / Queen=Cera / Bishop=Ducky / Knight=Petrie / Rook=Spike / Pawn=Chomper

  • nostalgia alert

  • Didn't see this one when I was little anyone know where I can get it? I really want to see it.

  • @NinjaspidaZ Now im sure you'd have to buy it at a thrift store, but you can probably just google the first land before time movie and watch it online

  • ducky is my favorite. makes me wish i was a kid again.

  • This is my childhood here lol I LOVE this movie so much

  • the first movie I ever cried to :)

  • AMAZING MOVIE...with amazing music

  • Been so long since I seen this movie. Love Don Bluth movies.

  • Childhood

  • ''Some things you see with your eyes, others you see with your heart'' What a great message for kids.

Nowadays the messages in most kids films are like 'You need to be pretty in order to be popular'

  • I love Petrie!

  • Comment removed

  • This was my favorite movie when I was younger. :) -3

  • dsfgsdfg i'll fucking crap out if i dont find the uncut version

  • This movie is forever ruined for me after learning what happened to the voice of Ducky. One of the saddest things I've ever read
