After seeing how in the shit Tamriel is because, let's see, The hero of Kvatch is now the Daedric prince of Madness, the Aldmeri Dominion '' dominates'' the Mede Empire, Morrowind is in ruin, the Thalmor crowned themselves saviors of mer just because they closed oblivion gates, using it as an excuse to gain power, Skyrim is in a civil war and dragons are coming back. If the fate of the Empire was truly was in the Hero's hands, he did a really poor job

@TheRyanthunder Daedric gods do not die, they are simply like daedra, once "killed" in the mortal realm, they are sent back to oblivion.(when the gates OF oblivion opened, this is how they got out.) Other daedric gods dwell in other reals, like nocturnal and her world place thing, and some others, kynereth or soemthing ,i think. (:

i just realised something its the champion of cyrodils fault all the bad stuff happened in skyrim like he stood by and watched uriel septim die he became leader of all the guilds and then they failed by skyrim their isnt even a mages guild hopefully dovahkiin will be emperor and then by elder scrolls 6 (if their is one) everything will be better again

@cybersaur The main quest ending was pretty disappointing... but it seems that the Guild quests had a stronger ending, especially the Dark Brotherhood quests. Companions questline was fine, still had a lasting effect of accomplishment. College of Winterhold was... meh. But tea-bagging never felt so good in the Thieves Guild quest line.

The whole reason that the Deadra were able to start opening the Oblivion gates and attack the 'normal' world is because there was no heir to the Emperor, right?

So, how does the ending solve anything? The only remaining heir, Martin, is dead now and there's no heir again. Doesn't that break the covenant and allow the Deadra to return?

I literally got goosebumps the first time I saw Marty transforming into Akatosh. Bethesda couldn't have done this scene any better, as in my mind it is one of the most memorable endings in the history of gaming.

Oh, and Sean Bean knocked the voice work outta the box. Brilliantly done.
