These songs stir me to this day. They were my favorite bands from the 80's and "All Too Much" was my favorite tune. They were so obscure that I felt cooler just being aware of their existence. Then, like so many bands from that era, they disappeared. CUT TO: 15 years later when I realize that my all-time favorite band Underworld, was what Freur had evolved into. There is clearly something about the music of Karl Hyde and Rick Smith that resonates with me on a primal and visceral level.
Where is this from?! I've been a huge fan of Freur since seeing the Doot Doot video on MTV back in 83 (I might have thought I hallucinated the band's existence, only I have the LP and the 12 inch single). But I've NEVER seen, or even KNEW OF THE EXISTENCE of any live footage before!!!
I picked up this VHS from a seller on Amazon. The TV program was just called "Live From London," I don't know much else. A lot of these songs are from their 2nd LP, which is excellent if you can find it!
@Kohntarkosz ha, ha, i like that hallucinated the bands existence... yah, i felt the same way. but i didn't know the bands name, or the name of the song i liked. (doot, doot) just knew i liked it. no, loved it. used to hear it on the radio. now i found it here today, and i know for sure, it's my favorite song of all time. and although i'm experiencing a buffering problem with this video, i've seen enough to know that i really like this band and want to see more.
i have to cassettes in prestine condition an have managed to put them mp3 format

I'm not a hater, but I just noticed that his dance moves seem to be inspired by Mick Jagger and Dave Gahan...
