That stupid hole couldn't follow procedure and called dispatch to notify the watch commander of the Miami PD? Instead, she chases the cop and exposes the public to yet another speeding car, the stop is made in the most dangerous spot possible and then draws down on the guy? Wow! Dumbest broad of the year for sure and hopefully soon working a McDonalds as a floor sweeper. Keep her away from the customers because she's obviously insane.

It's about time someone pulls over and arrests dangerous cops. I hope the FHP thoroughly checked the suspect for weapons. Cops are known to carry multiple weapons and objects which can be used as weapons and could attempt to attack her on the way to jail.

I work in Miami and report not only FHP but sheriff's for speeding as well.
Just get their tag number and call their "IA" (internal affairs) to report their dual standard asses!

I think both cops acted inappropriately , but it should not have gotten to the point of her gun drawn and arrest. It shouldve been handled by internal affairs. How could she live with herself if she shot him if he refused or thru verbal dispute? This makes both agencies look bad IMO

@f350powerstroke She put the sirens on and he did not pull over for 4 minutes. For all she knew, the car was stolen, hence why she pulled a gun.
If somebody ran from the cops for 4 minutes at 120mph, I'm sure they would pull a gun on them as well.
She acted just as she should have.

@f350powerstroke He ran from a police officer with lights flashing for almost five minutes. If it were me, and he wasn't in full compliance, I would have shot him dead. What if it wasn't a real cop? What if it was some guy dressed as a cop in a stolen uniform and patrol car? Police need to respect the law, the people and each other. Lives are on the line everywhere, especially on the highway, and especially in situations where all parties are armed, there's just no room to fuck around.

that woman is my hero! its time police officers understand they are not above the law. even though they still are, explain how he only got a misdomeanor? you and i would never get that lucky for driving that fast and dangerously while refusing to pull over for 4 minutes.
there still is no accountability or justice for the police departments. justice seems to be a meaningless word in america these days for anyone in government, banking or big business.

@jskaggs2008 Oh..i see your logic. Because the offending officer was Hispanic, and spoke with an accent, he MUST be a gang banger. RACIST much?! I wholeheartedly think officer Lopez was wrong in what he did, but I certainly don't think his ethnicity falls into play here at all. I know plenty of people who speak like Officer Lopez, and they are good people. There are cops of all races that break the law. Also cops who had good grades break the law too.

A misdemeanor? Really? Don't try that at home. Lead police on a high speed chase on the interstate weaving in and out of traffic and there would be serious hell to pay for any of us little people. You would be lucky if you survived. This guy should lose his badge.

@CynicalVision Officers are paid very, very well. A few years before retirement, most cops take up 2nd and 3rd jobs to earn the most they can so it boost their retirement pay. This guy seems young, so he was probably trying to earn a quick $1000 at a game.
