  • I don't get a word of what you're sayin but I don't care I love listening to you !

  • this just makes me love her more

  • @dacorom they're russians fool

  • I just can't believe as a Dutch, that this is a language. It's so much different from our language.

  • Guys, to be honest her Russian is kinda translated. It's not so obvious but being Russian native you can hear that she thinks in English and then uses Russian words. I would say the way she builds sentenses is not from our school books :)

But it makes her even more cute cuz she is so natural in trying to give you all her positive energy.

    LUV HER! :)

  • @PeacockTurquoise . That is true, because she grew up in the US and finished her school here in the us.

The same case applies to me either, i also tend to think in my language and use english words while speaking.

  • @PeacockTurquoise . That is true, because she grew up in the US and finished her school here in the us.

The same case applies to me either, i also tend to think in my language and use english words while speaking. you can not blame her for this.

  • I have no idea what she just said but i totally enjoyed watching this video. I find it very hot

  • It's amazing how she speaks russian so fluently and yet speaks english without a hint of russian accent

  • I love her

  • yes for russians she is just pretty not more! but she is good fellow. and i say to non russian speaking people:she has not foregein accent in her russian NOT AT ALL. he speach is clear

  • cool, I understand some parts of the interview ! I guess that "da" means "yes" xD

  • It's important for immigrants to not forget their native language.

  • @amazingdany She is not an immigrant.

  • @thegreendestiny Moving from Russia to USA to train in tennis is what then? Immigrant to me.

  • @amazingdany Immigrants go to another country with a purpose of living, earning and most importantly, being a citizen. In Sharapova's case, the third requisite excludes her from being one.

  • Russian is like TIk Tok, block blook beek

  • @Hail2TheVictorsBaby ignorant much?

  • @HomoCallidus

    Sorry that you're ignorant!

  • @Hail2TheVictorsBaby

American English English is like part mark serk lurk bation

  • she looks so much better when she doesnt wear make up.

  • atlina

  • she came to the US at age 7, he family speak to her in Russian, but her first tongue is Russian. She speaks english ,ore than russian, and has lost a little of the accent no big deal

  • that's how you americans are. i remember watching her matches, and as soon as she was winning/doing good, the american commentators start talking about how she trains there. now that she has lost a match, nothing like that is heard. she is Russian, win or loose.

  • Jealous bitch! Then why you here? IDIOT! Get a life!

  • Sharapova.....THE BEST!!!!

  • is it really that bad?

  • he's wrong

  • da, da, da...........hahahahaha the only thing I understood from the hole interview!!

her russian sounds perfect for me!! not that I could say anything about it anyways.......

  • oh, pls quit all this, she speaks very good russian!!! molodez!

  • What do you think: does she prefer English interviews or Russian interviews?

  • Bábuška :D

  • one

  • Like anyone who left their native land at age 7, I am sure it's a little rusty. It's easy to be critical, how many languages are you fluent in?

  • i understand that Maria is Siberian.

  • Sharapova.....Siberian root with typical ukrainian suffix.

Looks pretty Russian to me though.

  • helyes csaj

  • There seems an impatience about her

  • yea she seems irritable, even a little concieted

  • She may or may not speak Russian well but does she speak it like an American or not? Also she is of Belorussian origin?

I heard a radio interview she did & she spoke with a very american accent

  • she has no accent, but she makes some grammar mistakes

  • Her parents lived in Belarus. That was until Chernobyl. Her mom was pregnant with her when that happened, so they moved to Siberia for safety reasons.

  • Yeah, by Russian standrads she is a plain looking lady, same goes for Kournikova, but by American and European standards she is a hottie I guess, in Russia though the most she would get would be "pretty". For those who don't believe that the Russian women are the most beautiful in the world go to Russia and see for yourself.

And by the way. for someone who's lived in the US for so long she has a pretty obvious Russian accent while her Russian has not a hint of an accent which is good.

  • U must not be getting a lot of pussy...

  • ok so what would a 'hot' russian woman look like then? example please :)

  • @lorororora For russian standards I agree. It's how she behaves and how classy she is that elevates her. There are plenty of beauties out there that are flat out cocky and act as divas. Plus, she is not trashy as many out there are. But you're right.

  • @u229758 trashy?))

  • @lorororora amen to that brudda

  • holy crap, i've never heard Maria Sharapova speaking russian! i guess she grew up speaking both english and russian. that's really cool!!

  • So many Mistakes..... She thinks in english.... Is normal... I thinks in Spanish and i had so many mistakes of conjugation.... IF you don't speak everyday in a languaje... just Forgot........ BUt GO MARIA......

  • who cares about some minor mistakes, I speak crappy russian but ppl still can understand me lol.

  • who cares about some minor mistakes, I speak crappy russian but ppl still can understand me lol.

  • She has not many mistakes, is not true.

I though she might have lost it wen she went to the states !!!

This just makes me love her even more !!!

I wish i could speak russian ... what a brilliant language to listen to !!

  • huh?

  • дaвaй kpacивaя Mapиa!!!я любю kpacивaя maлинkaя блoдинka Mapиa!!!дaвaй пaшли Mapиa!!!

  • ya lublu krasivuyu malenkuyu blondeku, a ne krasivaya. 4i ili 6oy podezh.

  • What is she saying?

  • I agree. "Еду я никогда не отказываю" "Она прибавила свою игру" etc. - weird! she doesn't speak Russian well. No accent, but frequent mistakes like these. And she said once she thinks in Russian... I bet she does! :p

  • In Russian or in English?

  • U menya tozhe

  • Ya tibia lublu ...Te amo....i love you ...te amo....ti chiero

  • krasivuj bella beautiful hermosa = MARIA SHARAPOVA

  • It´s funny, even being Russian, it´s so strange to see Sharapova speaking in her native language ;)

  • It´s funny, even being Russian, it´s so atrange Sharapova speaking in Russian... ;)

  • I don't understand a bit from what she's saying (only "DA" wich means Yes), but she's so cute.
