actually, my parents own a fishing shop, and I got it from them. its like a cheapy tackle box? :] but you could probably find one in a high-end craft store. or even ebay!hah.
You can get the clay and simple tools at Micheals in Traverse, or any big time craft store, I suppose....I only user Sculpey lll(3), I don't care for Fimo clay. It gets sticky 'nd annoying XD and the tools you can get at Walmart, or just use like a toothpick and needle and make up your own tools^^
I'm making more tutorials this weekend so just hang tight XD
No, not really. If you're really sensitive to smell, when the clay is baking you might detect some odor similar to play dough. But other than that, nope ^^
Of course! When you first take a chunk out of the clay block, you want to work it around it your finger and such anyway, to soften it so you can shape it! When the charm is finished, and you dont like the look of the fingerprints all over it's surface, then you can take your fingertip or wear a latix glove and gently (VERY gently,)smooth your fingertip over the surface. Have fun!
Well, I don't know if they sell them anywhere else, but I got them at Walmart. (just to let you know ^_-) But they are like little "sugar crystals", and they're sparkles! Not like the glitter kind, but they look like translucent sugar sprinkles :D
I normally get my clay from stores like Michales, a large craft store in Traverse City. But it is located in other states, as well. They sell each color in the small block form for about $2.99, but occasionally they will have awsome deals where they sell them for $0.99!

What kind of clay did you use? it's very soft and not really sticky!! My clay sticks to the table whenever I cut it :(
strawberryFUSION 2 years ago
I use sculpey |||. It's very easy to use :] You might be using Fimo, if it's sticky? I've found their clay to be much softer and stickier :P
