And it's not much use pointing out that a zipper could withstand 500 degrees when I highly doubt the glue wouldn't be seriously affected above 200. I guess there'll be no playing around in campfires for me.
Good question on the manufacturing standards... why aren't they all made in China? I have serious doubt which is why the only Arcteryx products I have are Canadian.
It was disappointing that this guy didn't know the denier of apparently the "most impressive pro-shell ever made" and that he said it comes in black when it in fact does not.
Which begs the question: if all of the Chinese items are made in an Arcteryx owned facility and are made to the same standards why don't they make it all in China?
@ideologger Good question. I can only think of one possibility. Since this is a Canadian company and the Alpha LT is its flagship or trademark jacket, it may be logical that they'll keep the production of this particular jacket within Canada. I suppose quality control will be easier to deal with if the jackets are made in the building next door, as oppose to being half way around the world. What do you think? But regardless of where its made, the reviews I've read so far are excellent.
can i please have a dime for every time this boob used the word "super"

Alpha LT and SV are made in Canada, but all of the Chinese pieces are made in an Arcteryx owned facility, which adheres to the same standards
