  • Last guy made it look so easy

  • Seriously. Did the commentator say "69 kilo lifter" when talking about the squat guy? 69 kilos lifting 250 is MAD!!

  • @collegehumorrules search him up. Boevski. The guys C&J 196..at 69 kilos...

  • weightlifting at its full potential

  • We, the bulgarians, are the strongest people on Earth. It's just genetics... A lot people here on my age (18) deadlift 300kg and squat 300kg...

Get over it, we have the better genetics.

  • @Horrificusdinko

    Niice !

  • The guy squatting did it like it weighed 45 pounds and he looks like a tennis player. What the hell?

  • @2skyland strong and fast as hell

  • Does anyone else ever hold their breathe and brace their abs while watching this videos?

Always happens during the 2nd pull for me lol

  • @democratusnostradas Especially with the snatch, I'm always like "Oh wow, that weight is heavy, he's gonna dislocate his shoulder!!!"

  • 3 of the 4 lifters in this video, went positive lol !

  • holy shit at that squat… freakin fast

  • full with Anadur and Dianabol^^ the good old Time!!

  • @LetzterWille yep, why are you and I the only one's that realises this ?

everyone else crys the 70's and 80's were the best.

    Bullshit more gear then ever.

  • @LetzterWille exactly, wtf does the general public know

  • at first i was like wow ishe going to deadlift this and then after that my mind was blown

  • 1:32 does that guys t-shirt say ''WHY BE TYSON?' lol!!!!

  • i think it says why be normal and the normal is upside down!pause it at 1:28 and im sure ul agree!!

  • tanev was clean and jerking 215kg

    three 25kg plates + one 15kg plate on each side of the bar = 200kg, then you have 2x 5kg plates + 2x 2.5kg collars = 215kg total

  • @atgcuz You appear to be right, but I have the feeling one of the reds is actually; they're all faded so it's hard to tell.

  • 1.midget

2.bulgaria roids more than anyone else

  • @sdfefde roiding or not... the intensity is out of this world... that jerk at 1:18 is fuckin awesome

  • @sdfefde

    1. BULgarians are Bulgarians.

    2. Dont talk about roids iwhen you KNOW that GENETICALLY NOONE is like the Bulgarians. Our strength is gift from the nature.

    3. We smashed WHOLE world in the weightlifting (+wrestling) in the far far past when the roids didn't exist yet too.

    4. No matter how many fake doping tests US bitches will pay to be created for us, they will not change the fact that in Bulgaria in every single day born kids who are the future monsters in the weghtlifting.

    Cheers

  • @MrSwatbg You'd like the think that Bulgarians are blessed with the gift of strength. The only reason why you smashed everyone in weightlifting is because of Ivan Abadjiev, the Bulgarian Weightlifting Coach.

Prior to him Bulgaria didn't have ownership to a single olympic medal and in fact had the most embarassing and disappointing performance in the Olympics held in Mexico.

It's hard work, not being Bulgarian, that created that dominance. You fuck head.

    Cheers

  • Of course that the Bulgarian's strenght in gift from the nature. Yes, Ivan Abadjiev is the best coach on the planet, HE is the man who now teaching the Americans what means the word ''barbell''. Thats why soon you will begin to make some results but Mr Abadiev will not save u :). Do u want to send u message interview of Master Abadjiev (its in Bulgarian language) and someone (or google) to translate it for you. Would be nice you to see what he say about YOU..and us..the Bulgarians.

  • @MrSwatbg Also Abadjiev isn't teaching Americans anything. Americans don't care about olympic weightlifting at all. A strong young American would rather strive to be drafted by their basketball + football programs to get paid millions of dollars rather than starve and be a weightlifter. It's not supported in the U.S. and thats why you don't see competitors in the international level.

You generalize complex issues because you have such low culture.

  • @dplganger

Abadjiev isn't teaching Americans anything? How you can explain the FAKT that he is coach there right NOW. How you can explain that people from far states of America go in the state where Abadjiev is and training in the academy where he coaching. Abadjiev teaching the Americans in the Bulgarian system right NOW.

And about the low culture - wanna try? You already showed you'r ''culture'' and already its funny when you tryint to talk about it :).

  • @dplganger Abadjiev's words which he said in 2008:

''The westerners training very primitive. They had no chance against the Bulgarians. They take drugs from 1952 and we beat them when they were drugged and we - clean.''

''Lets the weightlifting international federation allow to use only supplements as protein and amino...then we will see who will lift more''

...and the journalist ask him '' Who?''

Abadjiev - ''The westerns no have idea what the Bulgars are.''

  • @dplganger Of course... what would you say if I tell you that the strongest man on the PLANET for 19 century is Bulgarian (Nicola Petrov)? I not think that Master Abadjiev was born then..

Do you ever hear about Dan Koloff? The list is so long, I can write it two days, but I not think you will like it.. :)

  • @dplganger And ... ''You fuck head.''.. say it to someone of your friends because when you say it to me, you just go down lower and lower than you are...in this way you show your culture. Silly idiot...

  • @MrSwatbg Obviously you are mad that I pointed out the absolute truth of Bulgaria's success behind Olympic Lifting. All the top countries in the sport used drugs and Bulgaria was no exception. You can go ahead and name plenty of strong Bulgarians that you consider to be the strongest on the planet, I can do the same about any other country. You claim objective statements very subjectively & that is why all of what you say has no merit.

Objectively: Bulgarians are strong because they work hard

  • @MrSwatbg Fuck head.

  • My jaw's on the floor!

  • BULGARIANS ARE WARRIORS BY NATURE !!!

  • Чистая сила. Обратите внимание на наличие массы. Ее практически нет. Сила на 90 % тренирует невную систему, и увеличивает количество нервных окончаний, а не гипертрофию мышц.

  • I thought Boevski's knees were going but it was just the sound of a shutter!

  • I wonder what enables the lightweights to lift almost as much as some really built people. I mean Ronnie Coleman could probably squat nearly 400 but he's not exactly petite at 135kg at his leanest (though still 3x BW).

It's a combination of recruiting more fibers, and mainly myofibrillar hypertrophy (marble muscles not rubber ones). That and specialising in one lift.

  • @TimpBizkit squat nearly 400? RC deadlifts 800lbs twice on video...

  • @DeathTax101 400kg not lbs

  • I wonder what his 10 rep max is. There has to be some advantages to big bulging muscles that smaller ones are as strong as.

  • and this proves the big difference between muscle growth -training (10-12 max reps) etc. and max. Strengh Training (max 1-4 reps) defferent sets etc. You hardly bulk with the heavy weights, I always have to laugh when I hear woman in the gym being afrain to lift their heavy weights because they might get to massive------it's just stupid

  • @EmotionalShredd Actually it's mostly about genetics, this is by far any proof that low reps causes only strength gains no muscle mass and vice versa for high reps.

These guys have shit genetics for building mass, but pretty good for building strength.

A regular guy who started lifting heavy with low reps would in almost every case become much bigger than these guys.

Before you start to talk, try to get facts instead of validating your own personal opinions and thoughts as facts, genius.

  • @finthallon about 200 kg is standard, for most of the bodybuilder (even the heavy ones with 110 kg bodyweight) it is not understood for them to be able to lift that weight. the hypertrophy doesn't occur propotional to the strengh. And of course genetics is a limiting fact. intramuscular coordination- training has nothing to do with hypertrophie- training. and before yo usay i should get my fact right, then go and buy my book (Pitt- force Karsten Pfützenreuter)

  • @EmotionalShredd Maybe you should learn proper English before you type a wall of text, it's impossible to make any real sense out of what you're writing.

  • @finthallon hahah well maybe because I am russian and my english is bad. who cares. Can you write and speak russian?? I bet all you can is english you stupid fuck. I guess you don't even know that people from not english speaking countries can watch youtube as well. But it's typical for retards like you to divert from the topic with trying to be a grammar teacher instead of giving constructive arguments. you must be some hard case loser. ты аргумент выбрать туго. дерьмо

  • @EmotionalShredd Haha oh wow not surprised you're a loser who will try to insult as soon as anyone doesn't agree with you.

Also it's nice that "your book" is written by a german guy.

Doesn't surprise me that you don't know anything about bodybuilding either, just a skinny loser trying to look like he knows shit, haha that's pathetic.

  • Comment removed

  • @jakebrigand You need food to build strength and mass, and you need more food to build strength than large muscles, therefor if these guys had genetics for bodybuilding they would be much larger.

Learn your facts before you try to boast shit about things you don't know anything about.

  • Comment removed

  • @jakebrigand You do know that powerlifters eat like 5-6000kcal a day right? They are fat and muscular.

Only weak guys who gym to have nice abs stay at a calorie-balance or deficit.

Again, don't talk about shit you have no knowledge about.

  • strength > size

  • amazing strength...

  • that 250kg squat looked so easy. No showing off or douchyness, just walk away picking your nose like nothin happened.

  • They're strong as hell for their size! I swear, Bulgarians must be descendents of Sayians.

  • @TheNobleBard Descendents of Proto-Bulgarians and Thracians.

  • @MrSwatbg So...Warriors? Duly noted.

  • @TheNobleBard The Proto-Bulgarians and Thracians?

    Well, yeah.

  • @TheNobleBard For their size?? These guys are stronger than the vast majority of guys who are bigger than they are

  • @TheNobleBard Or Androids.

  • @TheNobleBard do you have any idea how much gear must be in the room ?

you breathe the air you go positive

  • @TheNobleBard They're descendants of hard times during the 18-1900's

  • damn, Georgi Gardev throwing 170 kg like it were 20kg, he makes it look so easy. But I cant even deadlift that weight.

  • i think boevski prob could squat 270 kg for a max

  • MY wife is going to be Bulgarian now

  • how...

  • fucking jesus christ that is soo impressive!

  • @sweatygrowler don`t swear jesus christ

  • "how do you like that?" haha love the commentary

  • the first guy looks like hes 5 ft tall

  • This is just unbelievable.... pure craziness.

  • @RussianMilitary1 and about that drug control and how they always picking on bulgarians,it is simple they are best hands down, but bulgaria is not that country u didnt named and they are not influental and powerful as that country u didnt named,so u get picture they are not protected and cant get away with it.

  • @RussianMilitary1 well that is my point, someone cant be #1 just couse he is on roids,it is much more than that, but thing is modern sport is no longer sport it is money making industry, and athletes are basicaly forced to take those shit couse if they dont no mather how good they are competition will be bether couse of drugs but if they are all on drugs then all those other things are taking advantage like training and predispositions and determination.

  • @obrad79 just as a piece of information: sport has always been about money. I read an article today in dn.se (in Swedish) saying that the best paid athlete in ancient Greece got about 15billion SEK (1,670,048,066.22 EUR) over the course of his 20 year career. Off course, the sum was calculated based on his income and adjusted for inflation.

  • @RussianMilitary1 man if u think that human body is capable of doing something like this naturaly then u are living in ilusion, but truth is u cant just take roids and achieve this results there is much more then that u need to have genetical predispositions to achieve it and proper training and bulgarian weightlifthing school is best in world hands down, and u need to have insane amount of determination and to have balls to go thru all this pain and suffering, wightlifthing is hard sport

  • Направени сме за силови спортове - борба, бокс, сумо и особено щангите.

We are made to do strength/powerfull sports - box, wrestilng and espically weight lifting :).

  • RESPECT!

  • wow. just wow. pure power.

  • the commentary is awesome

  • I guess they don't have a lunk alarm?

  • By the way, to the author of this video, you messed up on the numbers.

You counted the weight on the bar, but you did not add in a % of their body weight, so they are lifting more then you listed.

  • @mrceebees14 who the hell counts body weight?

  • @NoWelders Intelligent people, he is lifting 75% including the bar and plates.

If you don't believe me, go call up the Olympic committee and ask them. I have been teaching this lift for 10 years now.

  • @mrceebees14 So chigishev must lift more on the bar because the other super heavies have more weight in their body?

  • @NoWelders Why do you think they are put into weight classes. I was in 181lbs weight class, one of the toughest.

  • Comment removed

  • @mrceebees14 The weight classes exist because heavier people are capable of lifting heavier weights.

  • @91Dixon You are repeating what I just said, just from a different angle. Weight is weight and since it's the main factor in getting someone strong, it has to be the first thing addressed.

The discussion here with NoWelders was "who the hell counts bodyweight?" The answer is, in this sport, who doesn't?

  • @mrceebees14 Could you clarify what you were saying in the first place?

Perhaps use the example of Reza's world record C&J, use numbers, explain the process, etc

  • Lets get something straight, no one with a life can train the way the Bulgarians did. Why? Because those were the Soviet Union days when they took what were kids to a remote place and trained them. They had no contact with anyone, they had a place to sleep, train and take a dump, no newspapers, no stress, nothing to take away from their training.

Hardly anyone can or will do that these days, especially with the communication we have in this era.

  • @mrceebees14 haha no newspapers ohohoho no contact whit anyone are u crazy what a west propaganda is this child

  • @vaskobs I am from the east.

  • ive seen this full video, its like 3 hours of lifting and it has everybody, a large portion is zlaten vanev, and my god he is the most explosive lifter i have ever seen

  • at 111 how u got the bar to pop up like tht

  • The snatch at 1:53 is absolutely explosive! Those hips!

  • im from indiana but damn i am huge fan of bulgaria's powerlifters and their wrestling team is one of my favorites. these guys are pure breed athletes. no roids needed.

  • @thebeast155arp this was their Oly team... if u meant it

  • @zacharyninja1 yes i meant it

  • I love how the bar was bending like a worm at the end of the video.!

  • Wow wordless these Bulgarian are animals ... Go Bulgaria ! Came across few Bulgarian and man these freaks are build like brick houses they lift unbeilavable weights and have the best training methods ! Long live Bulgaria !

  • shut the fuck up god damn haters watch and enjoy

  • these dudes roid.

  • lol that squat .. he didn't even feel it.

  • Damn thoes steel bars bent like twigs

  • UNBELIEVABLE power! It's amazing to see people lifting 3 and 4 times their weight. It defies logic and physics!

  • @ediek915

    no it doesn't

  • @TheDiamond123123 Uh, ok. Care to elaborate, or are you a man of few words?

  • @ediek915

it doesn't defie logic nor physiques.

  • @TheDiamond123123 Thanks for the clarification. Smgdh

  • Definiton of a true athlete!

  • thats incredible lifting...not even a spotter on the squat!!

  • The olympic lifting style is truly on another level.

  • @AmusingYeti for that reason no one in the U.S. can compare. These guys are phenomenal.

  • made easy work of that snach! who needs fancy belts and suits all you need is a bar some plates and the hunger to be the strongest

  • that snatch was amazing, so explosive.

  • @desembodic I couldn't believe the speed of the guy past knees. Faster than me with empty hands, canon power.

  • holy fuck @ gardev.

  • awesome

  • Anyone else speak bulgarian, because right before Gardev is lifting the guy yells everyone be quiet and right after that i would almost bet money that he says the weight is 175kg, i just cant exactly make out what he is saying. However im 95% sure he says 175

  • @LittleKris17

    brato 170 kaza

  • @LittleKris17 He says 170 kilograma its not 175

  • Wow, unbelievable strenth!

  • Last the squat bar are like the banana!

    I am apology for english.

  • is that the same ivan ivanov that is the wrestling coach/creator of the throwing dummies???? somebody tell me

  • I wish i lived in Bulgaria. No one would mind me screaming like a demon whilst I attempt to lift a fuck ton of weight and then casually drop it like a fucking brick after I'm done with it. Lucky bastards.

  • I'd give away all my money just to see Boevski (with a look more fitting of a cashier at your local Burger King) walk into some fitness club and start lifting some heavy iron. The next day everyone in there would wear a striped 5€ shirt and a goofy hair cut.

  • @basefree I'm glad someone else noticed it... I typed 'speed of the flower.' Silly me

  • @basefree

Yet so AHEAD in scientific athletic training.

  • it's not steroids it's their training programs. supersets and making a science out of strength training. They train for strength not hypertrophy as people often tend to focus on. You'll notice thy aren't that big, but obviously very strong. Check out Charles Polliquin, he know's what it's about. (Used to write for Muscle Media in the 90's).

  • @mivec25 ok, and that's why the entire Bulgarian team was disqualified in the 2008 Olympics, for steroids...no doubt they've maximized their method to weightlifting, but steroids are obviously used...

  • @mivec25 SOFIA, Bulgaria (AP) — Bulgaria's weightlifting federation will withdraw its team from the Beijing Olympics after 11 lifters tested positive for a steroid.

Eight members of the men's team and three women tested positive during out-of-competition tests conducted June 8-9, a federation statement said Friday.

    that was from USA TODAY

  • @NADOS11809 Yeah, everyone else as clean....

  • That second lift was fucking intense.

  • Gah, listen to that fucking snap each and every rep. The lifting just looks so solid. Watch the video of the Turks or Poles training and they just seem to lack the same hardness power and snap in their lifts. Also notice how fast they are off the flower. God fucking damn you crazy animals.

  • steroidsR4losers wtf is your problem?

  • This is the attitude i will respect............hard work, dedication, not stopping at anything. Thank you for been stronger than me that gives me the opportunity to test my own strength, there are times i think i´m strong until i realize i have stopped pushing myself to my very own limits.

  • the guy at the start looks like a dwarf

  • @terrapatra looks like the dwarf owns you :D

  • @uctelci hes an olympic weight lifter so that means he owns me all i gotta say is wow whatever

  • We bulgarians were so good at it - the federation had to ban us without any liable reason

  • @pittoBG Are you part of the team?

  • @endorphine99 hahaha - no, but the story is true. If ya check the competitions up to a few years back ya'll see - the bulgarians were always the last to lift/push, cuz they always won - there was no contest at all. If they came early in the competition nobody would watch the rest. The chief of the federation got fed up with all this and created a "doping scandal". Now all those boys and girls compete for other nations and the scandal...evaporated somehow...no comment

  • the weight for the georgi dude looked light bet he could of done more.

  • Good thing the first guy knew where his toes were... lol

  • 1998 looks like 1972 seriously

  • Very impressive lifters.

  • what do you rekon that last guys vertical jump would be,a calculator on higher faster sports puts it over 60 inches

  • Gardev's shirt is epic.

  • Nice Snatch!! Holy shit, that was fast and perfect and wonderful.

  • Bravo mashini!!!!

  • Holy schmokes, they're strong!

  • I couldn't really care less if these guys were roiding or not. There are loads of guys on roids but very few able to perform at the level of the bulgarians.

  • ...

  • @steroidsR4losers Ah, another second rate athlete who never had the balls to make it anywhere so instead blamed it on others 'cheating.'

  • ...

  • @alexandertait

    Its the yogurt and cheese!

  • @alexandertait this

  • Everybody shut your yaps

Go and train more, eat more, sleep more

    ENJOY THE VIDEO

  • whatst he guys shirt say,at end why be something i can't read

  • Why be Moron? :D

  • it says why be Normal? normal is spelled backwards and upside down on the shirt. I think it means normal is average and one must be exceptional to succeed.

  • emm i think the 2nd lift (the c+j) is 215 not 205...

  • Yeah thats definitely 215. cause 3 reds and a yellow is 210kg and the whites are 2.5kg?

  • Look close it's 2 reds and 1 blue and 1 yellow

  • no 3 reds and a yellow is 200, add the whites that are 5 and the collars are 2.5

  • A 150 LB guy Squatting 550LB WOW!

  • @dentgregg no way he's 150 lb

  • that last guy squated 3.62 X his body weight. Holy Fucking Shit!!!

  • Gymnasts are buff and very strong. And they do not use steroids, if they did it would just screw their performace up since its not about building mass.
