He got rid of all these shows to pave the way for his crappy CNreal and new shows (Chowder, Flapjack,etc). And he was also the one who pulled the plug on Toonami since apparantly, he had a big dislike of Japanese animation.

I think it's one of the dumbest moves CN ever pulled. >_>
