YES there are verses ABOUT stoning; but only narrating how non-believers threatened to stone believers (Hud 91, Miriam 46, Dukhan 20, Yassine 18, Kahf 20, Shua’ra 116).
The narrations about stoning in Bukhary are full of contradictions and don't make sense that some scholars believe they were made up and attributed to the prophet. The proof is that they contradict Qur’an legislation which is clear: flogging.

YES there are verses ABOUT stoning; but only narrating how non-believers threatened to stone believers (Hud 91, Miriam 46, Dukhan 20, Yassine 18, Kahf 20, Shua’ra 116).
The narrations about stoning in Bukhary are full of contradictions and don't make sense that some scholars believe they were made up and attributed to the prophet. The proof is that they contradict Qur’an legislation which is clear: flogging.
Any Islamic country doing otherwise is not following the teachings of Quar'an.

Well, the verses speak of the stoning of the believers by the pagans of mecca.
Just the word "stoning" is there, and it has no real relevence to the actual punishment for adultery in the Sharia.
No doubt, that there are hadiths that describe the Stoning.
Although, the punishment itself is not found in the Qur'an.
Now, but look at the Torah. The torah, indeed includes stoning as a punishment for adultery.

So those verses do only support what the islamic scholars have said. You cant just take something from the Quran and say, oh look people, here the word appears. Rajm is a part of The Shariah of course. And it is not a bad law.
