Why are older people, whose Medicare I PAY FOR WITH MY TAXES, carrying on? Medicare and Medicaid are government services. If they oppose gov't health care, then they should be willing to give up their Medicare entitlements! I pay $600 per month for family health insurance, and that doesn't include dental or eyecare. Our co-pay is $600 and change per month which is matched by our employer. We don't get any dental or optical coverage at all and the co-pays and deductibles are very high. My husband's sister died of leukemia when we were teenagers and it's been over 30 years and we still miss her so badly. My heart goes out to you in a big way. You pay $2500 per month?
