I would do about anything needed if my kids or grand kids were starving. I prep so, God willing, I will not ever be placed in that psosition. I keep going back to the age old saying that people are controlled through their food. I believe that. Yo start messing with the food sources, and it will bring people to their knees. Hell it only takes going with out electricity for a couple of hours to set shit off. When the poor people have their welfare, food stamps, and such taken away, thats when REAL shft starts. We learned this from the Romans...History repeats itself. Just make sure you dont live next to a Walmart.
I remember when my family moved from West Glacier, Montana, down to Tennessee, and that winter, about 1/2 an inch of snow fell... The mad dash that ensued upon the stores by the locals was very strange to us..... But hey, I know that, as you said, we buy insurance for the car, the house, etc,.... so why not prep? Even if you made a list of pluses and minuses, the reason TO prep would always outweigh!
If they were hungry, they woud just start eating each other! Better to prep than to get eaten by sheeple! Seriously though, if people get hungry, and they have kids starving, then there is no limit to what a man might do for food.
