wierd games shudnt scare you i played dead space, all the fear's , doom3, condemned 1, 2, silent hill series and many more but they arent scary they just give you frights if you get scared of these games then wow :D I dunno maybe its just me :D

The only game that truly scared me was Fatal Frame 3 because of the immense immersion and build up to each ghost. All other games try and fail, I guess a lot of people scare easily but for us that's not the case. Silent Hill 1, 2, even Homecoming were awesome! Just throwing it out there! :D

I know what you mean, Fatal Frame was a Japanese release but can be bought for the PS2. I'm a Silent Hill fan, really into the psychological horror. PS3 is far superior to Xbox 360 except the online community is horrible and the update times are extremely time consuming. I wouldn't have a 360 without Live. lol
The PS2 graphics weren't bad at all. Have we forgotten the graphics of Genesis, Atari, Dream Cast? When you play the old school games, you get a better eye and anything looks appealing. As for the scare element, have you played the original 4 Silent Hills. The atmosphere makes the game(for 1 and 2 anyway)drawing you in mentally. A title can survive on great gameplay, terrible immersion or terrible gameplay, great immersion. As for Silent Hill, mediocre gameplay and perfect immersion.

when i downloaded this game on my playstation 3, i all ready had Jericho, but this game is a little more scary, but i was able to beat the first level in 7 minutes. I was a little freaked out when its all dark and the crows fly up very fast. THis is a heart stopping game though. My little sister threw up from watching me play. However, this game is almost exactly like I Am Legend. THe last man has to fight off a bunch of zombies.

This is the most brutal game i have ever played besides manhunt 2. Condemed 2 will change the way you think of horror series. Very brutal, realistic, and because in real life people have incountered insane drug addicts. Ethan thomas gets called back to work to help the SCU. They go through the fucked up parts of New York trying to find a serial killer known as SKX they encounter fucked up drug addicts that are insane because they take some messed up drug. You need to grab anything to survive.
Got it 2 days ago actually ;) looks like its gonna be my favorite horror game.. Its very grisly and disturbing.. I get goosebumps all the time and Im really feeling the story and atmosphere, great game Im happy I got it. Dark as fuck because of the realism :)

The PS3 is better than Xbox 360 in many features. Blue-Ray, comes in 160g hard drive, free internet, better lightweight controllers. But the 360 has, better online play, better games (in my own opinion), fit-to-hand controller, cool customizable covers and sking (faceplates also). It is based on opinion and main wants and concerns.

A 100$ for a AMD cpu and 60-70 for a random ATI g.c. isnt gonna top the ps3 and thats just common sense I got geforce 8800gtx dual one of the fast intel dual cores plus a good asus motherboard and 4gb ram. (all in all my pc is about 700-800bucks) and still the games look and run much better on ps3.. And I guarantee you I wont need a new console next year
I have an ATI Radeon HD 4670, AMD Anthlon X2, Asus motherboard, and 4gb of ram. I don't know what games we're comparing, but I can run STALKER and Crysis maxed out. I was surprised I could run them that fast, but low and behold I could. If I were to buy a new graphics card, I think I could match the PS3. I guess there's advantages and shortfalls of each one, you know? I like to program and game so the PC was a great choice. If you like to game, go with a console.

I really liked this game and although it wasn't as scary as I hoped, it does still have a really thick, gritty, creepy and dark atmosphere which I love. I also love how you can beat the shit out of people with anything. And you really learn to conserve ammo in the levels with shooting when you've only got like 8 bullets and that's it.
i beat it in one night and you ppl saying you were scaired are retarded the only times it was scairy where in his dreams and when you walking along and a baceball bat wielding maniac poped from around a corner but hell the second dream he has in the cat scan machine scaired the physical piss out of me i had to go change never play that part with a full bladder!

I got a ps3 used for 150bucks aprox and B. in a few years you will be needing much more than 100-200 bucks to upgrade.. But pls tell me what parts costed you 600bucks that are bettern than a next gen console..

Not to insult you, and I mean this, but a graphics card from ATI can cost you $60-$70 new. Not to mention that a CPU from AMD might cost you $100. That's 170 right there, more than the price you payed for your PS3. But I still had to pay for a motherboard, powersupply, and other things. Overall I payed $600 bucks. Way more than your PS3. But next year I might need a new graphics card to keep up with the latest trends, you might need a new console. I'm not dissing consoles, just saying'.

exactly what ATI is that? A 100$ for a AMD cpu and 60-70 for a random ATI g.c. isnt gonna top the ps3 and thats just common sense I got geforce 8800gtx dual one of the fast intel dual cores plus a good asus motherboard and 4gb ram. (all in all my pc is about 700-800bucks) and still the games look and run much better on ps3.. And I guarantee you I wont need a new console next year

I have an ATI Radeon HD 4670, AMD Anthlon X2, Asus motherboard, and 4gb of ram. I don't know what games we're comparing, but I can run STALKER and Crysis maxed out. I was surprised I could run them that fast, but low and behold I could. If I were to buy a new graphics card, I think I could match the PS3. I guess there's advantages and shortfalls of each one, you know? I like to program and game so the PC was a great choice. If you like to game, go with a console.

I completed the game in 2 days, fucking awesome.
I didnt realy find it scary that much, but it was dark, claustrophobic, had an awesome fighing system and realy cool crime scene investigation stuff.

I really liked this game and although it wasn't as scary as I hoped, it does still have a really thick, gritty, creepy and dark atmosphere which I love. I also love how you can beat the shit out of people with anything. And you really learn to conserve ammo in the levels with shooting when you've only got like 8 bullets and that's it.
