Now this song judging from the latest recording technique seems to be recorded some where after 1976 - 1978 . But voice of our Saab still seems to be of 1958 - 60. ! Had I been an ENT specialist then, I would have definitely checked his throat every 5 years to unveil the mystery of his unchanging sound quality. But Alas ! I could not even see him. My misfortune.
Rafi is sublime.Look at the bliss Rafi saahab paints and the magic he puts in when ending a verse e,g "Gham ka mahinA A A A" at 1.25 and compare how Asha sings the same tune too straight "Jaane pyaar nibhanA A A "in the duet version. The Rafi solo of the song is sublime and awesome and brings in the velvet to a melody that is unique to Rafi.Tayoob from Mauritius

I would say, Technically Nice Job. But Asha Rafi duo has always been my favorite. And there was no reason to eliminate Asha from this. This song was as great as it was with the presence of Asha Jee.
