That's why he has to keep holding it like a stuffed lemon to keep the springs from collapsing it before the time is due.

@Hallamfoebell Magicgeek has a version. It is about $40.00. Just Google magicgeekinc and bird cage on google or you tube. It takes a lot of practice and timing because it can get hung up on your sleeve for example.

@Hallamfoebell I don't perform this effect, but I know someone who does, You do a magic show by perfecting some effects, maybe 5 or 6 which are right for your chosen audience. Some effects take months and years to perfect. Never let anyone tell you it is easy. Sure you can do them in days, but it takes months to practice and understand the effect and the things that can go wrong and how to routine the misdirection. Re Rice bowl and water, you can obtain it from internet dealers.

Not once does he move it away from his chest, and he's holding it together the entire time. But who knows. If you watch the kids' eyes, none of them look down.

yea but that was for a different trick, where they "made the cage dissapear" by slamming their hand down under and cloth, but that killed the bird in a special flattenable cage :(, the one he does most of the cage goes up his right sleeve and i think the bird goes up the left, but im not entirely sure...... i sure hope that bird goes up the left sleeve instead of being killed :(
